I was at the Church today, it was the opening ceremony for the first Catholic school in my town after 100years. My aunt works there, my cousin is starting education there & I'm going there for free school lessons.

Church was crowded so I went upstairs to the highest floor where the nuns were. I had a view over the whole Church. I was looking up at the ceiling, pictures, statues and one thing caught my eye. Right above my head there was a small painted window on the ceiling. It was triangle shaped, with an eye kinda Egyptian looking inside of it. I just thought " :O isn't that Illuminati? "

Could someone please explain this to me... Could it be the "ALL SEEING EYE OF GOD"?

Yes that is one of the illuminati signs, the Illumitati has easily infiltrated the church over the years and a lot of Chrusches have no clue. I dont know if your Church is aware of the sign or about the illuminati but it is possible that the church in the past maybe even the further past was used as a base for the illumimati to scheme and worship and then eventually dispersed and used as an actual church. Or the other possiblilty could be true where there are Iluminati activity

It is called the all-seeing eye of Horus, and yes, it is an illuminati sign. I saw one on a church outside the other day when I was walking home. There was a pyramid with the eye inside, and someone spray-painted an eyeball on the structure around the dumpster where my apartment building is. Some people say the Illuminati do not exist anymore, but if they are not real, why do so many celebs and actors and whoever reference them by name in song titles and lyrics and such?

lemme take the time to say: "BLAIN! It's you! WHERE THE HECK HAVE YOU BEEN?! It's been EONS!"Ok, now back to your daily scheduled posting :D

Its not Illuminati, its a Free Mason symbol. You can see it on the one dollar bill. However, it depends on where the Eye is placed as to whether its a Medieval Symbol of God taken from the Jews, Syrian Orthodox, and Coptics during the Crusades or Masonic. If it was inside the pyramid, its a symbol of God's knowledge and protection of His creation, if it was on top, it was a Masonic symbol of the All Seeing Eye of Horus.

However, because of the mishmashing and ignorance of most people of the Medieval iconography (not an insult an observation), you should probably mention it to the School that its extremely close to a Masonic symbol.

the eye inside a triangle is actually an old trinitarian christian symbol...it is sometimes called the 'eye of providence'...the triangle represents the trinity and the eye represents God watching over the world...

it later became part of the seal of the united states...and it is featured on the back of the dollar bill...

the freemasons didn't actually start using this symbol until -after- it was adopted as the seal of the united states...

the stained glass window in your church would be the traditional christian symbol...not a symbol of the nonexistent 'illuminati'...

Catholicism was actually born from the occult. They Christianized occult practices and incorporated Babylonian holly days and made the world believe that Christian "holi-days" was of God. I think the Whore of Babylon in Rev. was referring to Catholicism. I also think the false prophet will be a pope.

The all seeing eye, as it is called, is not an ancient Christian symbol but was used by the Egyptian priests that was later adopted by the Pagan Jews. The Masons adopted the symbol in the 1700s. The Mason's themselves reintroduced the symbol from ancient Egypt into modern times. The symbol was not used for over a thousand years. The all seeing eye is in fact an Occult Symbol! Just a simple study of ancient Egypt will uncover this. All of ancient Egypt's gods and customs are borrowed from Babylon. One other thing, not all Churches in ancient times were favored by God, a quick read of Revelation will take care of that.

And Babylon use this symbol before Christ, Mean it is not symbol of Christianity.

Unfortunately, many Christians are taught, not by a God fearing Church, but by these New Age Churches, and that is why some believe that the all seeing eye symbol is an ancient Christian symbol. Nothing can be further from the truth!

Last time I checked, I did not see the all seeing eye or similar symbols represented in the Bible. If there is a Bible with those symbols in it, its not a Christian Bible but instead a Pagan one! If the Bible doesn't support it, ITS NOT FROM GOD! Plain and simple.

in college i majored in history and i concentrated on the ancient middle east and especially ancient egypt...so i have done more than 'just a simple study' of ancient egypt...

just a simple study of ancient egypt will show that the eye of horus is distinctive and easily recognizable and -not- the same design at all as the old christian 'eye of providence'...the only thing they have in common is that they are both eyes...

After spending time with a pastor hired me to do sound system repairs conversation turned to Illuminati is Christian organization. I knew from decrement and the people and media that support Illuminati ideas this was not true. But fact is I really new very little and had never studied this subject.

I googled Illuminati and with in 10 minutes had read 10 articles similar to this one.

POINT BEING GOAL 3.To engineer and bring about the destruction of religion, and more especially, the Christian Religion, with the one exception, their own creation, as mentioned above.

This is a taste of their purpose

So you Say I know one world government is the work of the antichrist against God yet profess the illuminati is Christian organization in service of God

21 Goals of the Illuminati and
The Committee of 300

21 Goals of the Illuminati and The Committee of 300

F rom: Conspirators' Hierachy: The Story of The Committee of 300
1. To establish a One World Government/New World Order with a unified church and monetary system under their direction. The One World Government began to set up its church in the 1920:s and 30:s, for they realized the need for a religious belief inherent in mankind must have an outlet and, therefore, set up a "church" body to channel that belief in the direction they desired.
2. To bring about the utter destruction of all national identity and national pride, which was a primary consideration if the concept of a One World Government was to work.
3. To engineer and bring about the destruction of religion, and more especially, the Christian Religion, with the one exception, their own creation, as mentioned above.
4. To establish the ability to control of each and every person through means of mind control and what Zbignew Brzezinski called techonotronics, which would create human-like robots and a system of terror which would make Felix Dzerzinhski's Red Terror look like children at play.

That is good RBS that you have attended Collage to learn about ancient civilizations such as Egypt. I encourage you to investigate further if you are truly interested in all things truthful.

The ubiquitous image that you refer to is most often referred to as the all seeing eye or “eye of providence.” The eye, usually depicted in the sky looking out upon the earth, is an ancient symbol of the sun, and historically has been used as a symbol of omniscience. The idea of the solar eye comes to us from the Egyptians, who equated the eye with the deity Osiris; the human eye in its ability to perceive light was viewed as a miniature sun.

The use of the eye emblem to represent God was quite common in the Renaissance; often, the eye would be enclosed within a triangle representing the triune godhead. Such an emblem can be found in numerous examples of Christian art.
This emblem was eventually adopted by Freemasons as a symbol for the Great Architect, another name for Lucifer.

But, further investigation into the "all seeing eye" shows that in ancient times it was also referred to as the "third eye". It was often used in cultures to represent enlightenment and is still used today, such as in India. The pineal gland in the brain is referred to by pagans as the "third eye".

As paganism grew and later crept its way in to modern churches many of the pagan symbols too found their way into modern churches, such as the "all seeing eye" for example.

I am sorry, but the "all seeing eye" is in fact a Pagan symbol.

One is not to use "symbols" to worship God, or even to use them as a representation, but faith in the Lord is what is truly required. Symbolism has always had its origins in paganism.

the only common denominator here is that all of the symbols you mention are eyes...just because the ancient egyptians had an eye symbol...and because hinduism entertains the delusion of a 'third eye'...does not mean that -any depiction of an eye- is pagan or occultic...

by your logic the four cherubim in revelation would be occultic symbols because they are covered with eyes...

The history you gave on the all seeing eye is completely correct, furthermore if this all seeing eye was a representation of God then this would be sin in itself because God strictly forbid any graven representation of himself.

Well since the illuminati isnt actually real in that there is no shadow society of evil hanging around, I wouldnt worry too much.

? can you see a shadow in utter darkness.... ?

just as there is no light in the rcc catholic heresy,

there is no light proceeding from nor reflected from society/ mankind/ flesh/ carnality.....

society is evil. Jesus says society, mankind, is stupid, blind, pernicious, and doomed,

except for those who are purchased by HIS BLOOD, REDEEMED, BORN AGAIN,

immersed in His Name,...... i.e. "saved"

few are saved.(maybe millions; but that's 'few' to the billions lost).

the eye in the pyramid from what i have read is the eye of horus, its egyption but ties in with Canaanite/ Babylonian belief system. the pyramid shape is a capstone and according to their occult beliefs, when the capstone is returned it will mark the return of their gods.

i know many think this is all nonesense, never would they put an occult symbol on a US dollar or a church. but if you want something you can see touch and taste, go to the capital building in DC and look up at the mural in the rotunda. no angels, no biblical scenes but lots of pagan gods, zues, appollo and all the rest with G washington sitting on a throne in the middle as one of the gods.

just a coincidence and nothing to be concerned about im sure.

To answer the question, it seems to me that it was common in the occult in medieval times but it also spread among Christian groups at that time.

So just because someone uses that sign doesn't mean that they are Masonic. They could just be copying it,
