And to jack I say, I'll bet all my money that you are either not a christian or you are an old earther creationist. You are definitely wrong about Mr Hovind. I'll let God be judge.

Dr. Hound is a godly man who talked about the IRS in his seminar. They are the one who put him in jail. He is an innocent man.
Dr. Hound?

Hey, I like that.

Give the Hound another 6,000-year-old (or less, since Dr. Hound says dinosaurs walk among us today) dinosaur bone.

What evidence do you have to support your statement that Dr. Dino aka Dr. Hound is an innocent man?

So prove that I am wrong about Mr. Hovind, or as you refer to him, Dr. Hound.

Dr. Hound has said that the U.S. Government was behind the 9/11 attacks the the Oklahoma bombing.

Do you agree with him?

i guess -i- need to repeat all the evidence -i- already provided...none of which -you- refuted...

you were already shown that young earth creationism and flood geology predated price by centuries...morris may have been inspired by price's exposition of flood geology and young earth apologetics but price certainly was not the originator of those theories...

so to continually misrepresent reality as if young earth creationists 'got their flood geology from the seventh day adventists' is simply dishonest at this point in the discussion...quit it already...

the irony is that this is the one thing you -won't- accept as ancient!
The modern YEC cult movement got its flood geology from Seventh-Day Adventists. Many YECs don't even know that, and others like you try to deny it.

What I have said and backed up with credible sources is:

1. Henry Morris, founder of ICR and considered by many to be the father of the modern YEC cult movement got his flood geology from SDA George McCready Price, who got his flood geology from Ellen G. White.

2. Today's YEC cult spokespersons like Dr. Dino and Ken Ham and Morris' son got their flood geology from Henry Morris.

I am going to keep saying that unless somebody provides credible evidence that I am wrong.

Oh wow this guy is pretty good...glad this thread was started :)
well hovind doesn't look so 'good' when you get a sample of some of the -other- things he has said...that popeye conveniently omitted from his online reenactment of noah's flood...

for example...

"I do not pay any money to the IRS for the same reason I do not pay the Italian or French government money; I do not owe them any!"

"I have not filed a 1040 form or kept tax records for over 25 years since no law requires me to do this. Call the IRS and tell them to arrest me if I am breaking a law!"

the second quotation is ironic because someone actually -did- call the IRS and told them to arrest hovind...be careful what you wish for...

and then you have false teaching...such as hovind joining in the harold camping game of 'date setting'...

"When is The Lord Coming Back?"
"During the feast of Trumpets in 2028."

unbiblical...criminal...and an embarassment to christianity...that is kent hovind...

hovind is certainly not innocent...

kent hovind carried out his financial transactions in a way that was specifically designed to mislead the IRS...he used deception as a way to avoid paying the taxes he duly owed...

this is both illegal and contrary to the clear teaching of scripture on taxes...

again this is simply untrue...young earth creationism and flood geology did not originate with ellen white...

price got flood geology from the long tradition of young earth creationists and flood geologists...such as george fairholme...johann lehmann...john woodward...and ultimately people like luther and augustine and chrysostom...

and what you are very conveniently forgetting about ellen white is that most of her 'visions' and 'revelations' were blatantly plagiarized from other people...she was not the originator of young earth creationism although she tried to appropriate it through an endorsing 'revelation' in order to strengthen her case for radical sabbatarianism...

'the enemy of my enemy is my friend' is not a tactic christians should be using...
I don't account either of them as enemies... I just don't see the great evil of Dr Dino, nor do I see him as representing to voice of the church.

You are distorting what I said and then calling it simply untrue.

Let me repeat what I did say:

The modern YEC cult movement got its flood geology from Seventh-Day Adventists.

Highlights from Wikipedia article on Flood Geology:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flood_geology

In the 20th century, young Earth creationists revived flood geology as an overarching concept in their opposition to evolution, assuming a recent six-day Creation and cataclysmic geological changes during the Biblical Deluge, and incorporating creationist explanations of the sequence of rock strata.

The scientific community considers flood geology to be a myth or pseudoscience because it contradicts the scientific consensus in geology, paleontology, biology, physics, geophysics and stratigraphy.[5][6][7]

The Seventh-day Adventist Church, led by Ellen G. White, took six day Creation literally, and put her prolific inspired writings on a level with the Bible. Her visions of the Flood and its aftermath, published in 1864, described a catastrophic Deluge which reshaped the entire surface of the Earth, followed by a powerful wind which piled up new high mountains, burying the bodies of men and beasts. Buried forests became coal and oil, and where God later caused these to burn, they reacted with limestone and water to cause "earthquakes, volcanoes and fiery issues".[39][40]

Ellen G. White's visions were the spur for several books by one of her followers, George McCready Price, leading to the 20th century revival of Flood geology.

The Genesis Flood by Whitcomb and Morris was published . . . This was essentially Price's The New Geology updated for the 1960s, though with few direct references to Price.[56]

As a tactic to gain the same scientific status as evolution, flood geology proponents had effectively relabelled the Bible-based flood geology of George McCready Price as "creation science" or "scientific creationism" by the mid 1970s.

Ellen g white is known to have stolen almost everything she wrote from others...The idea of the world wide flood is not based on Ellen G White...its based on the clear and evident words of the bible.

Let me ask you a few questions:

1. Is Henry Morris considered to be the father of the modern YEC movement?

2. Did Henry Morris get much of his flood geology from George McCready Price?

3. Was George McCready Price's flood geology heavily influenced by Ellen G. White?

You are the one who beat a dead horse on this thread.

The dead horse that fossil footprints exist that prove dinosaurs coexisted with humans.

And you had the arrogance to infer that I was stupid and didn't know that they existed.

Fossil footprints that prove dinosaurs coexisted with humans have been debunked so thoroughly that even your major YECs spokespersons tell their YEC groupies not to use that nonsense as alleged evidence.

That's rich! That really is! You're hilarious. I gave up on your narrow-minded ... no, make that closed-minded ... attitude a long time ago. I'm just amazed you keep coming back on this site, disavowing Christ but trying to convince Christians not to believe the living word.

You're looking for something you won't admit to, friend. This is where you will find it, but you have to drop the facade first.
