I doubt the sincerity of your comment.

You can be as religious as you like. God however will not be impressed and demands that you become born again and give over to Him that perverse lifestyle.

For the cause of Christ

Sure you can. Being religious isn't saying you are a Christian or worship the true God. So yes you can be pagan and Gay and many other religions allow you to be Gay.

God Loves the gay person but hates the sin. Homosexuality is a sin just like any other sin.

A gay Christian is a oxymoron

Just as a sinful Christian is a oxymoron

It's like saying you have a unfaithful faith.

Who would want to be gay and religious?

If I was gay, I would look at the religious writings and want no part of it.

I'm not anti gay. Doesn't bother me at all.

But a gay man can't pick up a bible, say he disagrees with it, yet still wants to be part of the faith.

In many religions yes being gay/homosexual is accepted. In the Christian lifestyle where one has a Relationship with GOD it is not accepted. GOD created man and woman and said be fruitful and multiply. Genesis 1:27-28. GOD says homosexuality is an abomination Leviticus 18:22, regarding transgender clothing Deuteronomy 22:5, Read about Sodom and Gomorrah Genesis 19.

Many people make excuses regarding homosexual acceptance. In the end one has to go to GOD and ask how GOD views it and be willing to change and allow HOLY SPIRIT to do a great work in them. Freewill.

Blessings!!!!!!!

Hi, brother!

Well, the answer to your question is yes, in my opinion. In what condition? One can have the sexual inclination to prefer persons of the same sex but, with God´s grace, no commit the sin to get involved in a homosexual relation. In that situation you´re no sinning, so yes, you can be a Christian and still have that inclination as long you don´t sin.

And, from all we know, that are several cases of brother and sisters that overcame a gay style of life and are faithful servants of the Lord.

God bless!

hey Pinky, what's the least amount of effort you would make in your life to please God, if you believed Him ?

what's the most ?

is there some line you would draw, where you would tell the Almighty
'you may be the Lord of all creation,
but you don't have any say in such-&-such part of my life' ?

do you think you would really be accepting that He is God, if you have such a line?
or would you be acting like you're greater than Him, since you know better than He?
or that such-&-such part of your life is more important than Him?

just wondering . . .

All beliefs are a certain type of a religion. The gay one just happens to be a false one like many others. Gay is a happy religion that isn't necessarily wrong if one is happy minus a twisted sexual prowess that defy the laws of nature.

The word “gay” seems to have its origins around the 12th century in England, derived from the Old French word ‘gai’, which in turn was probably derived from a Germanic word, though that isn’t completely known. The word’s original meaning meant something to the effect of “joyful”, “carefree”, “full of mirth”, or “bright and showy”.

However, around the early parts of the 17th century, the word began to be associated with immorality. By the mid 17th century, according to an Oxford dictionary definition at the time, the meaning of the word had changed to mean “addicted to pleasures and dissipations. Often euphemistically: Of loose and immoral life”. This is an extension of one of the original meanings of “carefree”, meaning more or less uninhibited.

"Fine" you ask? NOT!!!! It doesn't work unto eternal life. It's eternal death if one continues in the practice of sexual immorality. It's a slap in the face in relation to the marriage supper of the Lamb.

[SUP]20 [/SUP]Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,
[SUP]21 [/SUP]Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

Being gay is a fleshly disease arising from the fall and subsequent degradation of the flesh by satan. The question isn't so much of being gay, but of acting upon it. You can have homosexual leanings and still serve God as long as you confess them and don't act on them. In fact, that's the one way to ultimately be rid of them.

If the holy spirit is in you then gay's will be convicted of their sin. They will then turn to the grace of God's throne and ask for forgiveness and the power to overcome the fleshy desires of man. This works all the time for all sins.

True, but not as quickly as many would hope. It's a process and like God says, perseverance is the key.

hmmm... can a heterosexual man who is having sex with his girlfriend be religious (be a Christian)? Can a person who has addictions to food (gluttony), drugs (smoking) be a Christian?

Only the Lord knows the condition of a person's heart, whatever we (other Christians or just people in general) want to believe about it. When you become a Christian, God will renew your heart and your mind, as you grow in relationship with him (through prayer, meditation on his word, fellowship with other Christians).

The goal of being a Christian isn't about going to heaven, rather it is living in relationship with our Heavenly Father. Therefore, Christian people (those whom Christ has sanctified through his Grace) desire to live in a way that is honouring to him, which would mean denying these things that are not healthy for us, or part of God's will for our lives (as many Christians interpret through his Word, The Bible), which includes sex outside of Marriage (speaking from the way I interpret The Bible).
