Yes, I forgive very quickly. Why, don't you?
I do.
I have no beef with you....l was referring to two of your homies.

The ones that cry about us, then do the same exact thing.
......oh, and you support them when they do what you hate. Is that sin?

Sometimes it's a process for me...like there are some things that took time to really get to a place of forgiveness. Stuff around here?....as you said once before........."childs play"

And Christians never commit immoral acts and still remain Christians ?
And many non-Christians do not lead more moral lives than some Christians ?

Sorry. Can't agree.
First use all of what a person said and not just a few of their words out of context.
For my whole stance was that a unbeliever even if they live a morally good life, will still be a slave to sin because they live in unbelief. Just because you are the most loving, caring, and giving person does not make you saved and free from being a slave to sin if you don't believe in God and the Lord Jesus Christ. If a person lives their whole life in unbelief they are a slave to that sin, no matter how good they are.

The deception today in Christianity, ......... a moral life is Christianity.
But morality teaches NOT ONE thing about the spiritual life.
There are many who lead a 'moral' life who are not Christian (if Christians could ever agree on what a 'Christian' is).

Included in that "many" are Muslims, Buddhists, Mormons, Catholics and yes, even atheists (shock, horror).
It is a mistake to believe that morality only exists within a particular faith - or lack thereof.
... can be the best person ever but if you live in unbelief you are still a slave to sin !!!
I agree. Not only will they be trapped to some kind of sin, but they also need to be born again and have the righteousness of the Lord working thru them... .

And Scripture would disagree with you. For it says we used to live sinfully in our past lives as unbelievers, but we are not that way anymore.....

An unbeliever will always be a slave to sin in some way.
Well, we're gonna have to agree to differ on this one too ! :D
I'm talking about leading a virtuous, moral and upright life - which plenty of non-Christians do.

You are talking about a certain belief system which you believe is a means to salvation.
Can you understand they are two different things ?

Only ironic a thread about pride is one of the longest threads in the Bible forum. I think quite a few people have a prideful thing going on... Just saying.

I realize many of us have different doctrines, but I am pleading with all of you please show love and kindness to those who may disagree with you. I can understand writing a post to defend your argument, but don't get carried away with it. By what you say to defend what you all believe is true is causing loving members to leave because of the constant bickering. God says to love each other and that is including people that disagree with you. I think if you want to talk in a deeper conversation that may start arguments please PM one another.

It is the hateful words of the pack of wolves in this forum that is causing the good ones to leave. Because I reprove sin and evil is not why people are leaving. :)

i'm uncertain who 'the good ones' are in your estimation.

perhaps you may want to consider the manner in which you, er, 'reprove sin and evil'.

Some may want to consider the manner in which they approve of sin and evil. :)

Jesus says, I come not to send peace, but a sword. 2 Timothy 3:16 says all Scripture is profitable for correction and training in righteousness. I do speak in love to people but I have to be truthful also

some might also rightly divide the words of truth and study themselves approved. not use personal opinions, which are fine, to make blanket statements.

i spoke to you directly exactly as though you are an adult.

Your comment to me was personal, my comment was to all who approve of sin and evil. If I speak out against sin and evil, then why am I evil spoken of?
