In a promo video for the Vanity Fair Magazine, Jenner said, “Bruce always had to tell a lie, he was always living that lie. Every day he always had a secret. From morning until night. Caitlyn doesn’t have any secrets. As soon as the Vanity Fair cover comes out, I’m free.” According to the statement, to escape her past life, she wanted a new identity and by undergoing gender reassignment, she is supposed to accomplish that.

The former psychiatrist in chief for Johns Hopkins Hospital is pouring rain on the Bruce Jenner “Call Me Caitlyn” parade that’s sure to have the former Olympic athlete’s cheerleaders steaming.

Not only does Dr. Paul R. McHugh consider changing sexes “biologically impossible,” he thinks being what is popularly called “transgender” these days is actually a “mental disorder.”

If Transgenderism is a mental disorder, then I think these people need our sympathy and prayers. What's your own take on that?

Maybe it's all about the chromosomes?, under normal circumstances humans have 46 chromosomes (23 pairs), 22 autosomes (base pairs) and one pair of sex chromosomes.

Of course we have to try to understand and accept that there are chromosomal abnormalities.


The human body has to adhere to and is limited by its given instruction set-it's own boundaries and laws, as where the human mind is free of such boundaries. Desires are strong in all of us and we all have a choice to act or not act upon them.

He isn't hurting anyone, so let him do his own thing. People worry far too much what others are doing with their own lives. If he was molesting children then thats one thing. The fact that Bruce now wants to be called caitlyn and bought some breast implants, well it doesnt affect my life at all and really doesnt bother me.

Gender reassignment is going against God's natural order and purpose of gender roles. Yes we are aware of gender dysphoria. The Bible can be summed up in two words and one title "Obeying God's commands". So yeah certain human actions can hurt God's feelings.

The main reply to your previous post you said he wasn't hurting anyone, i was just pointing out that certain actions freely carried out by humans can hurt other humans and God Himself, that's all, it's the individuals choice to do whatever they freely choose to do and they act upon it in their own minds. Obviously not everyone is going to support, agree, accept what others freely choose to do themselves. I don't agree with persecution or attacking others, i know the LGBT community see it as offensive but i see their chosen actions and lifestyles as offensive to a natural order of gender roles.

Homosexuality was once labeled a mental disorder as well. Now it's promoted and people coming out of the closet are labeled 'heroic' and 'courageous'.
Really anything that deviates from the norm is labeled a mental disorder until it becomes part of the norm.

It's pretty clear to see it's a disorder...what else would it be? Sin is a disorder,the Puritans called sin insanity, and the whole universe is in disorder because of the fall.

It's not a disorder, it's a sin. You can call it a disorder if you want, but it will never be normal or acceptable in the eyes of God.

You make a good point. How many times do we as a society excuse sinful behavior as a disorder? Sure, there are people who suffer from mental disorders, but at the same time when they succumb to them and use them as a crutch and rationalize their behavior then it is still a sin no matter what is or isn't clicking right in their brain.
All of us have certain weaknesses that others may not, and when we give in to those weaknesses it is sinful. If you look back in psychology books you will see that about every sin mentioned in scripture is now classified as some type of disorder. Stealing(Kleptomania), Compulsive Lying Disorder, ect.

I can can see why you may feel like this but it does have the
capacity to affect everyone.

A while back a temp started where I work he is a man, but it
soon became apparent that he was undergoing gender reassignment.

Gradually due to the hormones he was taking his skin started to
become softer and he lost body hair, he let his hair grow
long and started wearing skirts.

At first it did not effect me I worked in a different department. But then
one day I went to the ladies (rest room) and he was there and he
then started to use the ladies bathroom from that point on.

I felt really uncomfortable with that, especially as there are showers
in there. He was still a man, the hormones did not change that he
still had male anatomy. He also had a male brain.

After that I started to use a different rest room but it meant having to
go to a different floor to do so. Due to the equality laws there was nothing
any of us could say about it. Now imagine if that had been the other way
around and it was a woman using the man's toilets and walking in on them
while they were showering.

There has been some articles in the UK press about the possibility that
people who have changed gender can have their birth certificates
altered. In theory your daughter could fall in love with a man and hope
to marry them, then find out they were really a woman or visa versa.

i believe there are rare incidences where people are born intersex and that
all embryos are female, but later the males attributes and Dna kicks in.
In rare instances something can go wrong and so babies can be born both
male and female.

However the gender confusion we are seeing now is not just that, it is
something entirely different.

Only today I was reading a news article about an 8 year old boy who
asked his parents if he could wear girls clothes and so the mother has
arranged for him to start the new school year dressed as a girl.

just because someone is a bit of a Tom boy or likes girlie things does
not mean they have gender issues. It's normal for children to want
to experiment a bit or want what other children have etc. But
unfortunately what was once considered innocent curiosity or a bit of
a fad, is now called gender identity crisis.

I honestly believe there is a strong spiritual element to all of this.
As it was in the days of Noah - we ain't seen nothing yet, this is only
just the start.

in the bible 9 means birth and 11 means confusion. 9/11 was the birth of confusion.
