I have reported the thread twice because it is inappropriate and unChristian.

In families we all have up and down times. If you loose your sense of humor you have lost the plot.

Reporting things twice, now that makes me fall off my stool, and roll on the floor. I mean, reporting once means it is serious, but twice, I mean that is like the end of the world, dropping the H bomb.

We all want to be taken seriously, but after seeing the discussions, this is probably the most sincere group of people I know, so a little light relief is also good for the soul. We are after all called to forgive one another, even for sin, so think about this a moment, because the Lord still loves us, even when we are so sure we really really know we have got it 100% right which normally means we have got it 100% wrong, because certainty is almost the definition of failure.

Put yourself in my shoes. Do you honestly think you would be all happy if someone constantly slanders you and then they create a thread to specifically slander you whereby he wants everyone to join in on the fun in saying more bad against you? Seriously?

Some folks think Sirk is just cute because he is only joking around. I don't believe that for a second. People insult others because they are hateful. People who love Jesus Christ and other people do not tear each other down. Also, it is not wrong to point out bad behavior more than once. Does a parent only have to say something once if their child did something wrong? No. Many times, a parent has to repeatedly tell their child that something is wrong before they know and realize that they are serious and will not tolerate wrong doing.

Now it creates a mindset, a way of dealing with the world, that becomes part of who you are. It is like a culture, an emotional language, a way of expressing yourself. I have met some people from a similar background, bretheren, and I went for a number of years to an open bretheren church. These guys only socialise, holiday etc with their own. It is like a closed family.

So what you trigger in him works at many levels. I sincerely do not believe he hates, but you somehow wind each other up terribly. But why does it bother you so much? Do you want something he is not giving you?

You say he has insulted you. How?

I was accused of insulting people because I said I felt the little god theology was heresy. Can christians believe heresy? Yes. Just take the evolution creation debate. One side is definately right, but which one?
So I might regard something as wrong, but I am open to change my mind. Is that insulting someone? For me it is being honest, which Jesus calls me to be. But for some being a christian is just agreeing their view of faith is that same as theirs or one of us is from God and the other not. I tend to think God is very very gracious, and if we saw the truth, we would all fall apart, because no one would stand.

So grace covers a lot of things, and we are commanded to love as Jesus loved. Hey shoot me down, I am just following Jesus......

The Scriptures say, have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather, reprove them. There is a difference between being around the lost so as to evangelize them and then hanging out with them so as to be influenced by their sinful habits.

As for the wrong creation of this thread: Here is what I had written as to why he is wrong.

1. Read what they say
2. Put yourself in their shoes emotionally and see how the words play
3. In their world, do your words sound different.

I did this with WOF, and found I came out weird, evil, wrong. One called me of Satan. Ok, it was a logical extension of their world view, it hurt, but hey, at least it was honest.

Quick breakdown. The Holy Spirit revealed to them they are given everything they just have to confess it. By speaking negatively they will loose it. I am coming with you are not given anything, you have to be humble and submit to Gods will.

Who does this? Satan. So though I am quoting scripture, laying out the role of repentant sinners saved by grace, I am actually walking with the enemy. The words used was when I put my hand out for comfort with Jesus I was actually finding the enemy. So imagine this, a great idea, we are all healed, given stunning gifts from the Lord, we just have to confess it to get it, becomes ordinary followers of Jesus are now evil twisted hell bound people.

Do you see how an enemy can sincerely be saying something which is just so wrong, it is difficult to understand what has happened in them to turn a gospel of grace into something else. I had not come across this before in christian groups with the Holy Spirit because Jesus warns against such language with much care. I have seen rebukes of people, so the Lord does not play games around this stuff, but some have no fear, or wisdom.

However, if someone is not sorry about their sin, he will destroy and erase them from existence in the Lake of Fire (Regardless of whether or not they are a believer or not). For God is not a respecter of persons.

Sorry, if you cannot see the wrong in what has happened by now, I am not going to bother to read all of what you have written.

However, I did briefly catch your Bible reference, though. Pointing out wrong doing is reproving the unfruitful works of darkness. There are many times I say nice and kind things back to those who falsely slander me many times. There are times I also pray for those who slander me, too. I know all too well about how water puts out fire. But there is also a time wrong doing needs to be pointed out, too.
