There is nothing in the bible that says if you dedicate your life to Christ you have to stay celibate !!!

We are all to dedicate our lives to Christ and that we are all given different positions in the Church (body of believers in Christ). Apostle Paul only states that he wishes others could be like him in his celibacy, but that it is not a command by God to be that way nor does it make another more special then another.....
Priests are married to the church(don't quote me on that) and really have no time for a wife and children. It is 24/7 365 days a yr job. I know ya' ll don't understand it and I didn't for a long time. My position in the Church is music, i would like to become a deacon later. That's a six year process and I haven't heard the call yet. God literally told me to play for the Church and He has blessed me for accepting .

Interesting mwc68, if the Catholic Church has had bad men rule the Catholic Church then how can the Catholic Church be the True Church? IF the Catholic Church was the True Church do you think God would allow bad men rule His Holy Church mwc68?
Doctrine has always been sound since Peter. Its other stuff they have done that bring shame on us and ammunition for you!

Mary being without sin is a Major Doctrine that can keep a Catholic out of Heaven because its Idolatry.

Believing if the Wafer is turned into the Body of Christ or not is not a Major Doctrine. Believing either way will not effect your entering into Heaven. It does not bother me if you want to believe its the true body of Christ. This has no effect of your Salvation.

BUT, the Doctrines of Mary can and will keep you from entering into Heaven.

Why you ask? Because its involves Idolatry which God has said doing Idolatry will keep you from Inheriting the Kingdom of God.

Galatians 5:19-21
[SUP]19 [/SUP] Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness,
[SUP]20 [/SUP] idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies,
[SUP]21 [/SUP] envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.

You Catholics are putting your very Soul in danger of Hell Fire by following the Doctrines of Mary.

There are only a few things I have problems with that the Catholic Church teaches.

1. The Doctrines of Mary.
2. The statues and pictures of Mary need to be removed.
3. The receiving of Salvation by Baptism.
4. The Pope having total control over the lives of the Catholics.
5. The doctrine that what the Pope says is from God.

IF the Catholic Church was to change all these I would be willing to give the Catholic Church another chance with me.

I am glad you said don't quote you on that because there is absolutely nothing in the bible that states that.
Apostle Paul even says that a priest/preacher can have a wife, but says they are to have only one wife in 1 Timothy 3:2,12.

Nothing in the bible restricts a priest/preacher to marry a spouse, and even warns against such teaching calling it apostate teaching.

That's kinda like putting God to the test. I believe Jesus Christ started Catholicism Himself at the Last Supper, the First Mass

[h=1]History of the term "Catholic"[/h]

The word catholic (with lowercase c; derived via Late Latin catholicus, from the Greek adjective καθολικός (katholikos), meaning "universal"[SUP][1][/SUP][SUP][2][/SUP]) comes from the Greek phraseκαθόλου (katholou), meaning "on the whole", "according to the whole" or "in general", and is a combination of the Greek words κατά meaning "about" and ὅλος meaning "whole".[SUP][3][/SUP][SUP][4][/SUP] The word in English can mean either "including a wide variety of things; all-embracing" or "of the Roman Catholic faith" as "relating to the historic doctrine and practice of the Western Church.".[SUP][5][/SUP] ("Catholicos", the title used for the head of some churches in Eastern Christian traditions, is derived from the same linguistic origin.)
The term Catholic (usually written with uppercase C in English) was first used to describe the Christian Church in the early 2nd century to emphasize its universal scope. In the context of Christian ecclesiology, it has a rich history and several usages. In non-ecclesiastical use, it derives its English meaning directly from its root, and is currently used to mean the following:

Transubstantiation is a big deal to us. The pope doesn't contol my life. I believe the Holy Spirit is present at the pope's councils. I never said what the pope says is from God. We just have to disagree on Mary and her importance

Actually the Catholic Church was started Centuries after Jesus Christ arose into Heaven. The Christian Church was started at the Last Supper.

It was the Christian Church that was also in the Book of Acts, not the Catholic Church.

Transubstantiation is not a big deal to us because we look to Jesus not to a wafer.

Its not that we do not welcome Catholics here on this site, its the lies and false Doctrines they teach instead of the Truth from God that many True Christians object too.

If the Catholics want to discuss what the Holy Spirit says in the Bible verses what the Catholic Church teaches we have no problems with that. Its when the Catholics start demanding that we accept only their teachings and refuse to even consider what God says in the Scriptures that is causing the friction that is upsetting most people on this site.

Are you aware catholic is lie, so you not answered question, because the more you answered question the more visible is the lie.

LOL your church was not established until 8th century AD. So your church was NOT what God wanted. Indeed it was a political organisation and for the next 500 years was headed by murderers, adulterers assassins and paedophiles. So you think God set that up? You must be joking.

Before that the church in Rome had only been one of a large number of churches with no hierarchy over the whole church. Even Gregory the Great with his pretensions had admitted he was only 'first among equals' and not head of the whole church.

The reason Catholic Priests were not allowed to have a wife was because the Pope was worried if a Catholic Priest divorced his wife she could demand that part of the Catholic should belong to her. The Pope did not want anyone owning part of the Catholic Church.

It basically was for greed on the part of the Pope was why Catholic Priests were forbidden to marry.

Jesus acknowledged the OT Scriptures. He never acknowledged the Apocrypha.
He never acknowledged the New Testament either, mate :D
But seriously, did he cite every book of the OT ?
Well, those which he did not ... should be ignored ?
