17. Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child, he shall in no wise enter therein. 18. And a certain ruler asked him, saying, Good Teacher, what shall I do to inherit eternal life? 19. And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? none is good, save one, even God. 20. Thou knowest the commandments, Do not commit adultery, Do not kill, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Honor thy father and mother. 21. And he said, All these things have I observed from my youth up. 22. And when Jesus heard it, he said unto him, One thing thou lackest yet: sell all that thou hast, and distribute unto the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, follow me. (Luke 18:17-22)

So have you receive the Kingdom of Gog, like a child? Have you share your possession to poor's believing that you have now treasure in heaven?

Have you truly give your self and your everything to God, and are you willing to give? Or do you hanging on in your wealthy lifestyle, and join to huge group of those who only pretending that they have give them self God, but in a real life you love the world and joys of it, and you follow your own desires, like you have always do.

No more pretending, and excuses people's because in the end only very few will survive.

So take your cross and follow our Lord Yeshua

Part of receiving the kingdom of God as a little child is about keeping a open mind to the truth given through the Holy Spirit, and to be obedient to the word as kids are to be obedient to their parents.

Obedience is stressed all throughout the bible from the OT to the NT, yet I see some still try and say obedience is not necessary!!!

If you take the Kingdom of God like a child, then don't you are willing to give everything, if you truly believe that it will saves your soul, and that you are collecting the imperishable treasure in the heaven?

If you are obedience to God, you do not love the word, and mammon, but God and your neighbor, like our Lord has love us, and you are willing to walk even as he has walked.

But do we see that kind of christianiy today?

No we do not, but we hear just all kind of excuses, after excuses about why you hold your possession, and love mammon, and the world even though the Bible what you claim to follow forbid that kind of life what you love.

So how can you talk to me about obedience, of God, if nearly no one seems to practice that?

You serve the Lord with your lips, but your heart is faraway from him.

Honesty is missing in among of today's believers, and we truly live in that predicted end time's period where man heart is, like I say before, faraway from God.

One aspect of childlike faith you're missing is innocence. Sadly, you present yourself as disrespectful and judgmental. Let's see your childlike faith and maturity level in action as you respond to this constructive criticism. Will you glorify God or self? I have a whole bag of popcorn for this one.

Please do not place me in the category with those who profess with their lips but in their works they deny Him, as Paul said in Titus 1:16.

I can easily talk about obedience because it is stressed in the bible, and those who want to use a condemning tone toward others and make false accusations against them are not obeying the word of God.

You do not know my heart and have no business making that judgment on me, and be careful how you approach others because the Lord Jesus said by the measure you judge others you also will be judged.........

I see enough when I just see your profile picture, believe me.

The holiness of God is missing in you, and it missing also form everyone else here.

I speak what I see, and understand, and I hope that you or some one may hear me, and change his way.

And you, you are 50 year's old man, but you still act like a child, and mean like childish way, but you do not see nothing wrong about it, even though you do not find in a Bible even one example for your behavior, but instead you find there example for pure and holy life, which seems to be the abomination for you, like it is too almost for everyone.

It was predicted that the man of the last day's will be unholy in his manners, and what we see also in here, is unholy behavior, can't you see that?

I wish that even someone may finally see this all, and cover himself for it, because God is holy, and also we should be holy.

Excuse my Ignorace, but I really don't understand Child Like Faith.

When I think of child like faith I think of children getting into strangers cars, or drinking bleach thinking its soda.

With child like faith comes naivity and risk. I don't see it as a benefit.

Apologies if the well meant tone of my post isnt coming across.

Once again you are being judgmental as you are trying to say things you have absolutely no right in doing.

You say you base your opinion, and it is just that on my profile picture, but the same can be versed on you as you display in your picture the flag of Finland. My picture is the college of the home state that I live in....Missouri.

This does not mean I put my home state Missouri before God no less then you put Finland before God, so please stop passing judgment on me and showing fruits that are not from the Holy Spirit.............

Child like faith by the bible just means that we are to be obedient to the Fathers's teachings, as children are to be obedient to their parents....

I give all I can to the poor but not for treasure in heaven I could care less about treasure in heaven the only treasure I seek more than anything is God's heart anything else in his kingdom he would give me whether that is treasure glory honor a crown a title high ranking wouldn't even come close to the treasure I am after I will gladly give all that treasure and honor and such to others in the kingdom who have less. I would become a pauper in his kingdom and yet because I have his heart I would be the richest. I offer everything I am everything I have to God all the time and I am not just talking about material things I also mean my limbs my body parts even my sight because I don't need these eyes to see.

Everyone sees through your puffed up act, you don't do a very good job of pretending to be Godly so it's easy to see through.

LOL! I'll be sure to tell all the elderly people I visit in hospitals and nursing homes I'm an unholy child because you say so. As far as your maturity level, you're own words prove you to be sorely lacking.

You thump your chest in triumphant victory in Jesus' name but can't handle constructive criticism. Take that log out of your eye, boy, before you breed. In the meantime, have a binky.

I think mikko is just a troll. I notice he makes these kinds of threads and for the most part doesn't reply much and I see him on the thread but doesn't reply a lot almost as if he likes to watch the chaos unfold.
Honestly I think he is just an attention seeker

This is how Jesus characterized conversion. It pictures faith as the simple, helpless, trusting, dependence of those who have no resources of their own. Like children, they have no achievements and no accomplishments to offer or commend themselves with. Jesus here is pointing to the need to have the same type of faith that little children exhibit. The most trusting people in the world are children. Children have not acquired the obstructions to faith that often come with advanced education and exposure to the philosophies of men. Christ calls us to have the same kind of trust that little children naturally have.
