I didn't chose to be single. </3

I think God put me in this position for a reason though.

...To be closer to Him.

Relationships can be an easy distraction. :/

Please note the previous statement was said by a HappyGuy. :D

Kinda reminds me of a tombstone I heard of once. "Here lies a happy man. Never married."

state you reason..
Probably because girls look mean at me in the street or say I look weird lol. That and many other reasons have made me make a promise to myself a while ago: never let a woman enter my heart again! Although my heart longs for it, my mind says no to me. I'll follow my mind instead of my heart. That's why I'm still single I think. I just had enough of it..

Actually you're still single because young males increasingly are not courting you and asking you to marry them. Statistically, 70% of males aged 18-34 are unmarried and half polled stated they intend to never marry in their lifetimes. Both statistics (unmarried and intention to never marry) are increasing rapidly. Soon it will be 80% unmarried and then 90% unmarried.

The primary reason for it is has to do with the enormous liabilities males incur upon marriage (up to and including garnering a life-long criminal record and incarceration in the nation's penal institution if they became sick or lose their job and cannot make the court-ordered payments anymore when you divorce them), loss of liberty, and radical decrease in the benefit to males of being married.

Not to pop your bubble but the reason you're not married isn't esoteric or mystical. It's statistically explained in scholarly studies by organizations such as the Pew Research Center.

The New Left have dramatically changed matrimonial law and culture since the late 1960s and most men do not want to live in what now amounts to a state of perpetual forced indentured servitude to someone who left them with the government micromanaging their finances and life and the justice system hanging the threat of a criminal record and incarceration apart from their children after their wife files a no fault divorce (which she does more than half the time). The benefits are too little and the liabilities too great under today's matrimonial body of law and men are simply refusing to become ensnared by it.

That's WHY you are single.

We are still single because God is still molding us to become a woman He wanted us to be and preparing us to be a great wife/mother in the future. Since I was 18yrs. Old, I'm starting to pray for my future husband. And I believe in God's perfect time, He'll give me a man who will love me deeply because he's deeply rooted and guided by our God. :)

Have you ever considered that the OP may not be a native English speaker? How do you justify your rude behavior?

Nah, you've got this wrong, and honestly, you sound ridiculous. In the dialect to which you are likely referring, "be" is for habitual behaviors (alternatively, one could use "stay"). For a state of being, you could just omit it entirely and say "who single?" and that would be comparable. Or, the not uncommonly seen "who is single?", which *gasp* matches Standard English.

I've got some questions for you:

Is you single? Or you married? If you single, why you single? If you married, why you married? Where ya wife, and how she feel about how you be actin on this forum? You stay rude, and apparently dialectally uninformed.

I can speak that so much better than you and wouldn't you know it, I also speak Standard English, which you have so ignorantly called "intelligent English". Which is a little bit ironic, since you failed so miserably at speaking the version of English you tried to speak. The OP may not even speak English as a native language. And here you are shaming that person by attempting and failing to use a dialect that you so obviously are not intimately familiar with. You try to mock it, but it ended up mocking you, and now you've made yourself look like a jerk.

Please go somewhere and sit down. You are making yourself look foolish.

If the present body of matrimonial law is reformed to one that makes marriage attractive to males again, most will return to courtship and marriage. There are objective reasons why most will that I've not gone into.

But until that happens, if it even does happen in this rapidly deteriorating civilization, marriage will continue to become more unreachable for each new generation of women as each corresponding generation of men trend away from it.

The consequences are actually quite dire from both a scriptural and historical viewpoint despite much of the atheist literature asserting the opposite.

Because its says in 1 Corinthians 7: 8 "To the unmarried and the widows I say that it is good for them to remain single as I am" So I am blessed either way. And that's what I'm claiming for a reason why I am single lol

https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=1+Corinthians+7&version=MSG

Being single for me is somewhat a blessing. as its what my heart desires. God gives the desires of thine heart, but according to his will. God gives the gift of a single life to some, and married life to others. So why do people think its not good to be alone, or single or that you NEED to be with someone?

Seek God if it's his will for you to be married or single. either way, you will be blessed. read 1 Corinthians it explains clearly about singleness and marriage. and it's in the new testament.
