OH, your post was just your unasked opinion. Now we understand...Everyone has an opinion...but it is a waste to share it here for it only divides. What we need to share here is testimony, words of encouragement and spiritual growth. Shared experiences can help others, etc. Nobody needs a busybody sharing uncalled for OPINIONS as if it really mattered. We should have enough common ground in CHRIST that we don't have to sit and post negativity..unless you are putting SATAN in his place! lol

Back when I was young there was a bumper sticker that said, "Honk if you love Jesus." I know how I drive, so I was never foolish enough to stick one on my car, knowing full well, if someone did honk, I'd do sign language unbecoming a believer. It is wise to avoid our shortcomings. It's certainly wiser that preaching about them right before proving you have them.

I'm familiar with the term Christianese. And yes, I know how it sounds. Christians should avoid Christianese where possible, but the reality is that the Christian faith won't be understood by non-believers, unless Holy Spirit opens their eyes to the truth. Besides, I don't just hang out with Christians.

You do know the vast majority have been a member of your club, right? PCism. Worldly. Humanism. New Age. Politico-speak. We recognize that too. It's kind of like being on a merry-go-round. Lots of sound. Lots of movement. Lots of nothing said in the end. Just a shared experience. But the thrill dies quickly, and by the time the rides over nothing happened.
What about those of us that stepped out of your club into truth? Truth is truth even when you don't like it. You act like none of us came from "your world", I wasn't born to a Christian family, as a matter of fact guilt was the only reason I wasn't the 2nd abortion. I am sure I have thought things and done things that would make you look "christianese" in comparison. I don't fit the mold you make for us all. What do you say to one like me that was saved from your view, and that even after thinking I was a Christian for about 5 years as well. I have quite a bit of life experience in my 35 years and see your view as plain silly. You're not nearly as smart and "all knowing" as you think you are, and I can only say that knowing I've felt the same way. I've held your views and "fake Christian" views, and truth, so who has more experience to base these conclusions on.

You have a point there.You really do.The Salvation Army is the best for that.Always in the heart of the city. Years ago I sang at a SA downtown Toronto. A place for addicts,prostitutes,homeless to come and get warm,have some food. It was a totally different experience for someone who had grown up in a Christian home.I believe a lot of times people dont feel comfortable in a church setting. The church use to be downtown. Its when they moved uptown that things began to fall apart.
