Really, can you back that up with showing the unbroken chain of Apostolic Succession in Protestantism, like the Catholic Church can?

If so.... she is doing a pretty poor job at it!!! Lol!!

RELIGION[h=1]Top 10 Most Wicked Popes[/h]JAMIE FRATER AUGUST 17, 2007
Out of the 266 Popes to have ruled the Catholic Church, ten in particular stand out for their wickedness. This is a list of the ten with a description of their errors and faults.
1. Liberius, reigned 352-66 [Catholic Encyclopaedia]

Pope Liberius is the first Pope not to be canonised a saint. He reigned during the height of the Arian crisis during which a large majority of the Church believed that Jesus was not God, but merely a man. The Arian heresy was fought against by the Patriarch of Alexandria Saint Athanasius who consecrated Bishops without permission.
Pope Liberius, rather than defending Athanasius, signed a document that supported those against him and condemned Athanasius. Nearing the end of his pontificate he recanted his signature and reinstated Athanasius. While the Pope did not embrace the heresy himself, he did not use his power fully to put an end to it. His reign did nothing to stop the confusion spreading throughout the Church.
2. Honorius I, reigned 625-638 [Catholic Encyclopaedia]

Like Liberius, Honorius I was condemned and excommunicated for heresy by the sixth general council in 680. The heresy in question was Montheism in which Jesus is seen as a divine-human, rather than the orthodox belief of physeis that he is both fully God and fully man. Patriarch Sergius of Constantinople wrote to Honorius asking him to decide the question that was causing much division at the time. Instead of clarifying the view of the Church, Honorius did nothing. His lack of action was so scandalous that for 3 centuries, each new Pope had to state at his coronation that he:
“smites with eternal anathema the originators of the new heresy, Sergius, etc., together with Honorius, because he assisted the base assertion of the heretics.”
The Roman Breviary contained the condemnation of Honorius on the Feast of St Leo II right up until the 18th century.

Martin Luther, about Mary

Martin Luther on Mary's Perpetual Virginity:

"Christ, our Savior, was the real and natural fruit of Mary's virginal womb . . . This was without the cooperation of a man, and she remained a virgin after that."

- Martin Luther {Sermons on John, chaps. 1-4 (1539)}

"Christ . . . was the only Son of Mary, and the Virgin Mary bore no children besides Him . . . I am inclined to agree with those who declare that 'brothers' really mean 'cousins' here, for Holy Writ and the Jews always call cousins brothers."
- Martin Luther {Sermons on John, chaps. 1-4 (1539)}

Martin Luther commenting on the false teachings arising in Protestantism in his lifetime concerning the denial of Mary's perpetual virginity, teachings which Protestants erroneously attribute to Luther, which he himself calls lies.
Luther also refers to Mary here as the mother of God.

"A new lie about me is being circulated. I am supposed to have preached and written that Mary, the mother of God, was not a virgin either before or after the birth of Christ. . ."
- Martin Luther {That Jesus Christ was Born a Jew (1523)}

Martin Luther says that scripture does not say or indicate that Mary later lost her virginity, as most Protestants today contend . .

"When Matthew [1:25] says that Joseph did not know Mary carnally until she had brought forth her son, it does not follow that he knew her subsequently; on the contrary, it means that he never did know her . . . This babble . . . is without justification . . . he has neither noticed nor paid any attention to either Scripture or the common idiom."
- Martin Luther {That Jesus Christ was Born a Jew (1523)}

MARY, THE MOTHER OF GOD...

"It is the consolation and the superabundant goodness of GOD, that man is able to exult in such a treasure. Mary is his true Mother."
- Martin Luther (Sermon, Christmas, 1522)

He again declares Mary the Mother of God...

". . . she is rightly called not only the mother of the man, but also the Mother of God. . . . it is certain that Mary is the Mother of the real and true God."
- Martin Luther {Sermon on John 14. 16}

Mary, the Mother of God, and mother of all Christians...

"Mary is the Mother of Jesus and the Mother of all of us even though it was Christ alone who reposed on her knees . . . If he is ours, we ought to be in his situation; there where he is, we ought also to be and all that he has ought to be ours, and his mother is also our mother."
- Martin Luther (Sermon, Christmas, 1529)

Mary is free from the stain of original sin.

"It is a sweet and pious belief that the infusion of Mary's soul was effected without original sin; so that in the very infusion of her soul she was also purified from original sin and adorned with God's gifts, receiving a pure soul infused by God; thus from the first moment she began to live she was free from all sin"
- Martin Luther (Sermon: "On the Day of the Conception of the Mother of God," 1527)

"She is full of grace, proclaimed to be entirely without sin- something exceedingly great. For God's grace fills her with everything good and makes her devoid of all evil."
- Martin Luther (Personal {"Little"} Prayer Book, 1522)

Concerning the veneration of Mary...

"She is the highest woman and the noblest gem in Christianity after Christ . . . She is nobility, wisdom, and holiness personified. We can never honor her enough. Still honor and praise must be given to her in such a way as to injure neither Christ nor the Scriptures."
- Martin Luther (Sermon, Christmas, 1531)

"The veneration of Mary is inscribed in the very depths of the human heart."
- Martin Luther (Sermon, September 1, 1522)

"One should honor Mary as she herself wished and as she expressed it in the Magnificat. She praised God for his deeds. How then can we praise her? The true honor of Mary is the honor of God, the praise of God's grace . . . Mary is nothing for the sake of herself, but for the sake of Christ . . . Mary does not wish that we come to her, but through her to God."
- Martin Luther (Explanation of the Magnificat, 1521)

Hail Mary, full of Grace, the Lord is with thee,
Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb Jesus.
Holy Mary, mother of God, pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death. Amen

Glory to God in the highest!

Right, the teaching of the Apostles. The Catholic Church is Apostolic
No Paul was talking about these: Faith established by the Word, Repentance, Baptism, Confession, Laying on of the hands, fruits and gifts of the Holy Spirit, and how to walk in the faith.

These are the traditions that Jesus taught and commanded on and the Apostles instructed on, and this is what Paul was referring to not anything else that is not in the word of God. God gives a strict warning to not add or take away from His word, and He did not give any man permission to disregard that command !!!

Scripture is quoted by RC's to support their assumption that God gave the keys to the kingdom to one man (really!?). Read it again after praying that God will grant you revelation through his Spirit, which as a Christian abides in your heart. The scripture is actually affirming that God will speak directly into the hearts and minds of His people, through revelation. This is the rock that He will build His church upon!

Please take it easy on each other guys. As brothers in Christ we display that we are in fact God's children through or respect/love for one another. The scripture state that one who would call his brother a fool is in danger of hell fire!

Whoops! P.S.
All things were created by Him for Him (Christ the Word). In the beginning was the Word = Jesus = God.
Jesus existed long before Mary. She was merely a blessed conduct for His entry into earth.

Also as Mary is not God and thus not omnipresent she would not be capable of listening to thousands of parishioners all praying to her at the same time anyway. Even if the dead could hear our prayers, which by the way they can't.

All those who believe Jesus Christ is God will be Saved and will enter into Heaven. The Muslims reject Jesus Christ as the Son of God and only believe he is a minor Prophet and not the Son of God.

Pope Francis was wrong in saying Muslims are our Brothers in Christ.

Which causes one to ask has Pope Francis even received Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior?

I totally believe Pope Francis has never received Salvation nor will he ever want to receive Salvation. To him its all about Gold and Silver and Power.

Many a Pope will be denied entrance into Heaven.

Every Catholic who Worships Mary is not a True Child of God. Idolatry will keep most Catholics from entering into Heaven.

We True Christians, the True Children of God, do not need to listen to anything the Roman Catholic Church says or teaches or proclaims. Its only the Holy Spirit we need to teach us the Truths from God, not the Roman Catholic Church.

1 John 2:27
[SUP]27 [/SUP] But the anointing which you have received from Him abides in you, and you do not need that anyone teach you; but as the same anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true, and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, you will abide in Him.

John 14:26
[SUP]26 [/SUP] But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things

Its the Holy Spirit Indwelling in us that will teach and lead us into all the Truths from God. Does this mean we need no teachers on the Earth? No. We still need human teaches to teach us what is True and what is a lie. But we do not need the false teachings of a Corrupted Roman Catholic Church because the Holy Spirit is Greater than Mary and the Holy Spirit is Greater than the Corrupted Roman Catholic Church.

Therefore mwc68 and fordman and the rest of all the Catholics, we do not need to listen to anything you or the Roman Catholic Church says because we have the Indwelling of the Holy Spirit who is Greater than the Roman Catholic Church.

On the contrary, blessed are those who hear the word of God, and observe it." ...Luke 11:28
Therefore i am more Blessed than Mary.

I am MORE Blessed than the Mary of the corrupted Roman Catholic Church and I have all the Truth from the Holy Spirit. I have no need for a man made Church and religion!

What Luke 2:35 was talking about was the Mary who gave birth to Jesus Christ. He was NOT talking about the Mary the Catholics Worship as their God mwc68.

The Mary in the Scriptures is NOT the Mary the Catholics Worship and follow. The Mary in the Catholic Church is the Goddess Diana, the old Roman God that the Catholics Worship and follow today. This was the god Pope John Paul II was Worshiping and Following.

Then would you answer the question as to why there are so many differing views all claiming to follow the Holy Spirit?

You see, only God can look into our hearts. I have no idea what is really in your heart, so I can't play God and say because of these silly practices (OSAS and all) you are going to hell. I think you acknowledge Christ although you've never said it. Your rants are usually about Mary. Anyway, i have no right to tell you you are going to hell just as you don't have the right to me I am going to hell.

You still haven't answered why the Holy Spirit is teaching yall different things. Some you believe OSAS, some of you don't. Yet you all say the Holy Spirit teaches you. I don't get it. Why is the Holy Spirit teaching you conflicting views?

So Martin Luther was wrong. He often was!!!!! He never fully threw off Roman Catholic heresies
