I do not like to lie (neither to myself).
Although I don´t like Paul´s, although I don´t know when those letters were written (or how original those copies are) I see the emotional turmoil Christianity has has during centuries so, allow me to post this:
1Co 7:9 But if you don't have enough self-control, then go ahead and get married. After all, it is
better to marry than to burn with desire.
If it wasn´t so, 20 centuries ago, NO ONE would have written it, before I was borned.
1Co 7:28
It isn't wrong to marry, even if you have never been married before. But those who marry will have a lot of trouble, and I want to protect you from that.
Oh, Yes! troubles... (and ALSO BLESSINGS)
Just let´s have a look on HOW things can be seen and "translated":
1Co 7:36 But suppose you are engaged to someone old enough to be married, and you want her so much that all you can think about is getting married. Then go ahead and marry. There is nothing wrong with that.
1Co 7:36 But if any man thinketh that he behaveth himself unseemly toward
his virgin daughter, if she be past the flower of her age, and if need so requireth, let him do what he will; he sinneth not; let them marry.
But THOSE DAYS ppl and DADS had control to make decisions for their daughts...
Today there is free will!
Yet! Those how are actually seeking to be "married" are those who like same sex relationships (and I don´t want to marry a man)
Disclaimer:
This was a SINGLE NOTE, too.
