I think all you Catholics are missing the point of what god says in Luke 11:27-28.

Here is a person that was saying Mary was Blessed just for being His Mother. But Jesus Christ told her that all those who follow Him are Blessed instead! What Jesus was doing here was stopping the Worship of Mary that He knew the Catholics would do centuries later.

See, this were if we have a "cause" we will not interpret scripture correctly.

This is a woman who blurted out something right in the middle of Christs speech and her doctrine was wrong.

The woman shrunk Him down to a mere human and thought that happiness was derived from Child bearing.

So we have a bit of divine sarcasm for this women....."Happy are those who hear the word of God and retain it!"

Jesus Christ was no mere human. And the woman's curse, not happiness is in child bearing. She needed to go study up on the word.

Then and only then my friend in Christ will he come to see the ridiculousness of his accusations. If you may remember, he (mec99) also claimed to have gone into some Catholic Church and said that the Church put all it's emphasis upon The Blessed Virgin Mary (forty ft. statues, huge Icons, ect.) than God. Well, I have on numerous occasions, asked if this is true to give me the city/State, and name of this Church, since most Catholic Churches have web-sites depicting the inside of their church so I could see for myself. And to this day, do you think he has done it??? Not just no, but Hell No!!! So, all one can do, is conclude it was nothing more than a figment of his imagination.
