I am really shy and reserved, but when I guy flirts with me I at least exchange a smile and maybe a wink to show I acknowledged him. Although, one time I hollered out the car window to a cop to say he was good looking, but a bicyclist thought I was talking about him. Lol. Let's just say I am coming out of my shell a bit

That awkward moment when I'm the only guy enrolled in Ms. Blue's flirting class?

Blond is worst dog owner ever.....took Gino back today, but told them that he is a good dog that I the owner am broken.... I thought I could handle a dog I was wrong....too much work and he had too much energy.... I felt guilty we did not have a fenced in yard to let him out to run in.... and then the thought of 14 years of all this energy and pay attention to me please - I couldn't take it.....

I gave him high praise as for a 5 month old dog he was really good so I am praying that a family with a fenced yard will get him and be good to him.... I am definitely a cat person....cats are good because most of them sleep for 16 hours out of the day and only need attention when they want it....which is not often..... But for now back to silence is golden in the house.....Blond is fired when it comes to dogs....as she is a terrible dog owner.....o.k. former dog owner.....Going to put myself in timeout now....

The ending of Marley & Me gets to me every single time. :( Had to hug my kitties and tell them that I love them after.

It was 100 here yesterday afternoon. I have 6 dogs, two of them are 15+, one a beagle and the other a mutt. Had to go to town so I put the beagle out. Piddled around and got a sno-cone while I was out. Came home and the beagle was nowhere to be seen. Found her in a hole in the barn. She was pretty much out of it.
Brought her in and put her on an A/C vent, put a fan on her, and some wet rags. I was worried about her. Asked the Lord to keep her alive, not to take her, because I didn't take good enough care of her.
Went to bed and slept very little. It was clear she had heatstroke and I knew if she lived she was gonna have neural problems.
Put her outside late last night because she was having continence and stomach trouble.
Got up this morn and she was clearly in distress. Had trouble moving at all and in pain. Called the vet and took her down to deal with it.
She got heatstroke because I was more intent on what I was doing than taking care of her. If I had been paying attention I would have realized it was too hot for an old dog in poor health to be outside, but I didn't, and she had to be put down because of my neglect. She was an old dog, and it was coming soon either way, but I selfishly asked God to keep her alive to make me feel better.
So after thinking about it all day (if you love your animals, having one put down is not pleasant), I knelt and thanked God for letting me have her as long as I did and asked His forgiveness for being selfish. She was in pain a lot lately, and me wanting her to stay was more for my benefit than hers.
Sometimes we have to back up and look at things with clear mind and eyes. Life goes on and we have to understand that.

So sorry about your dog...I know you will miss her.

Never allow your attitude to stand between you and your happiness,
you can close your eyes to the things you don't want to see,
but you cannot close your heart to the things you do not want to feel.

Good morning everyone.

The meaning of life,
is to give life a meaning.
