Which are you? I think I'm the owl. I cannot sleep and it's almost 2 in the morning. This happens a lot.
I wish I were a morning person. I think life would be easier that way. But even if I try to go to bed early, I toss and turn and cannot go to sleep.

But I actually like the night too. It's quiet and peaceful, the only thing I can hear is a cricket outside my window. This is the time I usually get motivated to write poems or stories.

Anyways, let me know which one you all are and if you like being that. I'm just curious....and bored lol.

I wish I was a bit more of a morning person. I mean, I can get up and function once I have a shower, but it still takes some time to become fully-awake. I'm more of a night owl. I don't like especially late nights, but turning out the lights at 1AM is happening all too regularly these days (I blame good books). I hope to aim for something a bit more sensible, like 11PM.

I rarely fall asleep before midnight no matter when I go to bed and I am never fully awake until, say, ten in the morning?
then again, I am lazy and prefer sleeping then hours straight no matter what time that happens

Neither, really.

I sometimes have trouble sleeping at night, which can mean I'm up to 6am before I finally go to bed, but that is usually due to either an error in judgement (drinking a coffee at 8 or 9pm) or a succession of night shift work.

I love the night. Its almost magical. For me its often bittersweet, but I love it anyway.

I'm definitely of the morning bird variety. I'm usually up around 4am for gym. My body thinks sleeping in is pretty much 5. If I stay up late, well my definition of late anyway, till 2-ish, I still am bright eyed and bush tailed come 5 am.

I've always loved being up late, which sux because I have to be up early lol. It's peaceful. And I'm always in a better mood when I get to wake up in the afternoon. The sun is out and everything is great . Something about mornings is just a nuisance. :p

When I was younger, I was more of a night owl, but now I'm a morning bird all the way.

Fish kinda likes the water
And that's just where he wants to be
And a monkey kinda digs bananas
So he hangs in the top of a tree
But my eyes were made for darkness
So the nighttime is right for meeeeee

Cause I'm a night owl honey
Sleep all day long
Yeah I'm a night owl honey
Sleep all day long

Most folks like the daytime
Cause they like to see the shining sun
They're up in the morning, off and a-running
Too tired for having fun
But when the sun goes down and the bright lights shine
My daytime has just beguuuuuuun

Now there are two sides to this great big world
And one of them is always night
If you can take care of business in the sunshine, baby
I guess you're gonna be alright
Don't go looking for me to lend you a hand
Cause my eyes just can't stand the light!

Hmm... sorry for the preceding post. Music nerd reflex.

For myself, it depends on my job. If I work second shift I'm a night owl. If I work first shift I'm an early bird. By default though, I seem to be an early riser. Did you know that 5:00 comes twice a day? And the 5:00 in the morning is kinda nice, the world just waking up, everything beginning to stir. I don't set my alarm for 5am, that's just when I wake up.

My natural rhythm is in the morning. I wake between 4:30 and 5 am every day even on weekends. I am most productive in the mornings as well but by 8:30 I am getting ready for bed because I can't function after 9pm. All I want to do is read or watch a little TV and fall asleep.

I'm an early bird. I'm up before 6 am everyday, except from weekends where I'm not up untill 7 am. I'm ready for bed well before 10 pm.
