I got some hard rootbeer boss, if you ever come around new mexico hit me up :)
I had no idea you were from NM, Tony. I'm from NM, despite living in Hell Paso now. A couple times a year, I sneak back up to Alamogordo or Las Cruces to visit home. Are you southern or northern?

Sunday! The start of my weekend! In a few short minutes in gonna start my vocal warm-ups, and have coffee, I've already had my morning devotion time.

If it's nice, maybe a beach walk. If you are nice, maybe I'll take photos.

About as much sense as my lunch. Scrambled eggs on sourdough bread with cheddar. And a flan for dessert because my grandmother went out to eat at a mexican restaurant and picked me up a flan.

BTW, playing keys wasn't a total fail! I did decent! I psyched myself out a bit and that made me mess up, even though during practice I practically NAILED IT.

I swear, my brain...

But I was complimented by the pastor. So that's probably gonna be a regular thing now if he likes it.

Wish you were here lil. I need a good guitar player. I can do the guitar in computer and do a passable job, and normal (i.e. non-music-nerd) people can't tell the difference, but I can tell.

I love flan. My mom made me flan for my bday :)
Oh man, what I would give for some homemade flan...

Never had... WHAT?

This should be rectified immediately. Find a good mexican restaurant. Not one of those where they get flan shipped in little plastic dishes and dump them out on plates, a good restaurant where they make flan on site.

Although come to think of it, you probably have tried flan and just didn't know it. It's called different things, but really it's just egg custard. Served on a plate, with a little rum sauce. You may not have had it with rum sauce but I bet you've had egg custard in some form before.

I don't know, it doesn't look like anything I've ever eaten :/ (I google imaged it.) There's a Mexican restaurant not far from me. I'll have to do what you said and check it out. Since I'm missing out!

I was told by someone two days in a row that they were going to come out to visit (they were invited, at that point). After they didn't show up or call or text the first time, I texted them...they said the next day would work better and they'd see me then. Aaaaand they didn't show up or even text me to say why. I didn't hear from them all weekend, until right as we were all sitting down to dinner. This person texted "I'm alive by the way".

....

I was kinda torqued by that. Like I was the one being inconsiderate for not...what? Texting and calling three times a day when it had been made pretty clear this person was busy with other things? I set my phone aside during dinner without responding because...my temper...yeah. Figured I'd calm down a little so I could be civil, plus, dinner time.

After dinner, I saw they had texted me again, saying they will come out after a dentist appointment at 4 in the afternoon tomorrow....which would mean they wouldn't even get here until after 5, more like 6, which is dinner time.

I'm just...really irritated. I haven't responded yet because every reply I can think of is sarcastic. None of this would even be that big a deal, except that they had previously told my son they would be here...so his feelings were hurt when they didn't show up. And now I really don't know what to do...tell them no, they can't come out? Tell them ok but that they'll have to pitch in for dinner?

Bah. People.

Sometimes people are just plain rude. There, I said it. You however, are a fun writer, and I think you should write a book.

Writing a book is on my bucket list! Or it would be, if I had one. Or I might have one and just don't remember, which is another problem with writing a book. Maybe I should just do what everyone else does and blog about...uhh...the nonsense I post in here.
