I'll start with this verse because when it comes right down to the meat, it's far more important to seek to be pleasing to God more than man.
Acts 4:19 But Peter and John answered and said unto them, Whether it be right in the sight of God to hearken unto you more than unto God, judge ye.
God Judges us, and either justifies or condemns.
Psalms 7:9 Oh let the wickedness of the wicked come to an end; but establish the just: for the righteous God trieth the hearts and reins.
Proverbs 3:33 The curse of the LORD is in the house of the wicked: but he blesseth the habitation of the just.
Isaiah 26:7 The way of the just is uprightness: thou, most upright, dost weigh the path of the just.

God does not justify the wicked:

Everything that we judge as being right or true, should be from a heart that is seeking not our own will but the will of the Father.’
Paul wrote about having a good conscience at the resurrection of the just

The just shall live by faith:
