I really don't want to

I do not feel logically down or anything but there is just too much craziness already, anyone feel that?

ugh.
YES, and I'm working on moving and I have a time limit and I just can't bring myself to do it all and I know God's not pleased and I need to repent and get motivated but I am really struggling with that and I'm not sure why but I don't like this feeling and being on this site is probly not helping right now even tho it's a blessing I've got responsibilities and I can't do both, and thank you for letting me know I'm not the only one going thru this, blueorchid:)

I never feel logically down. Logically, I can always just ignore the stress and go skydiving and have fun. Shirk all legal and financial responsibilites and just go live it up. Buuuut, the emotionial part doesnt allow me to do that. I am responsible for taking care of other people, etc.... If I ever end up totally without any dependants and no reason to continue caring about the things that drive me crazy, I will just say chuck it ALL. No more of that adult responsibility stuff.

But alas, that is not possible so I have episode after episode of "its just too much craziness already". You are not alone in that sis. You guys would literally not believe the Greg Focker like series of problems I deal with. That one hope that at some point I will actually have my true freedom and I can just book a one way flight to tokyo just because I feel like it that day is the only earthly light at the end of the tunnel. Even if I only get to do it when Im 40 and die at 41, I am holding out for at least that one year.

If you want anyone to believe that evil laugh thing, you really need to change your avatar. No one is going to believe in an evil laugh coming out of that face. You're just not evil looking enough.

As for the hordes of minions. Let's just say I know something you don't know, something that will ensure I continue to have hordes of minions no matter how many of them you think you've eliminated.
The plot thickens.

Looks like I'll have to pull out that secret weapon.....

Hmm.

Just played a concert with the community college. I mentor the french horn section, which really means that they pay me to play in their orchestra, since they are short brass players.

Tonight's concert was Brahms' 1st symphony and Saint-Saens' 2nd piano concerto. The piano soloist, Jon Nakamatsu won the Van Cliburn award in 1997. The concerto went great, but I loved his encore piece even more. I had been kicking around just yesterday the idea of starting to practice again Chopin's Fantasie Impromptu, which I had half learned at one point. It turns out that that was the encore piece. This happened to be the best interpretation of it I have ever heard. I was...astounded. Even though I know the piece inside and out, it was fresh and lively, transporting me to my happy place.

My random thoughts during the concert:

Brahms - I really should learn more of his piano pieces than the waltzes and Hungarian dances. Few composers have the range from intense and dramatic to light an delicate that he does...and often in the same piece or movement...Oops! The clarinets are a measure ahead in the third movement and half the orchestra followed them. When I come back in, do I follow them as well? Looks like the conductor did. I guess that answers my question...I'm so glad I didn't accidentally swallow a piece of hair like the concert last year...uh oh! The second horn player is falling off of his riser. Do I grab him or continue playing my solo? Play the solo. Priorities. Good. The fourth player saved him.

Saint-Saens - I should have played that note with more articulation....great, while I was over-analyzing that, I lost count...Oh! He's cuing me! That's where we are! How did we get there already? I'll trust that his cue is correct. Oh gosh! The measure I have that exposed part that I never get right! Hey, that wasn't bad. Maybe I should miscount more often...

a fun night!

Was invited to a Halloween party on the 31st. Two weeks from now.

Apparently this guy noticed that I was gone in classes and asked my friend where I was. I missed about three days because of my fall. We have two classes the same since we are majoring in the same thing. When I got back he was really friendly. Then today he told me his friend (who is also in classes with us) is throwing a Halloween party and if I wanted to go, I could. I got an invitation. It's apparently a somewhat formal party downtown at a hotel. It sounds like fun but...

I don't know if I should go. I'm not really sure about Halloween. What do you all think?
So...this guy and I have been texting and he told me this (typed it exactly how he worded it) yesterday "what are you going to wear? is it going to be something sexy? ; ) " So yeah...I don't think I'm going now. It kinds sucks because I was getting to know him and it was nice but I did notice he would make crude jokes and that text just kinda blew it all to pieces.

I showed the text to my best friend and she said that maybe he was just joking and that I shouldn't take it too literally but I don't know...I don't have a whole lot of experience with guys lol and how they talk and joke. What do you all think? The party is tomorrow night...or really, in several hours.

I think if you're uncomfortable, don't go. No use to going to a party if you're not going to be able to enjoy yourself.
