Im thinking that it is part of the Gnostic gospels? So no,its not considered Gods Word and therefore isnt part of the Bible.

It AIN'T included in the Scripture canon, also has quite a bit of Gnostic input, so forget about it...

I'll be subtle. It's a bunch of lies from the pits of Hell.

I've never read it, but if it says the same thing that our bible says, then it would not be adding or removing anything. Just another confirmation.

I would like to know what is the main message that is written in this book. So, Messenger, what does it say that makes you believe in it or even need something different.

The bible is made of 66 books. How is adding a 67th book not adding to it?

This text treats the first two chapters of Genesis in a non-traditional way. It holds that there were two separate creations of mankind -- the first was perfect and the second was flawed. Rather than wait for a future end-time Kingdom to come, the writer of this book exhorts people to return to the perfect Kingdom conditions of Genesis 1 now.

That's enough to turn me off!

I was curious to look it up - and this is not a gospel the way our bible teaches it.

Right, it's Gnostic. Some biblical truth with a whole lot of pagan lies.

Hi Joidevivre
I understand what you are asking but It will just increase to more and more nonsensical and unfruitful discussion.

I trust the bishops who canonized scripture. I believe that they were led by the Holy Spirit. So, based on that, I think that the gospel of Thomas didn't make the cut. It might be interesting to read, but has errors that prevented it from being canonized, so it shouldn't be viewed on the same level as canonized scripture.

Apt that it comes from doubting thomas. Its a test of our faith in my eyes.some will get the meaning with an open mind & ears to hear , others will start of sceptical. Its gods word. When mentioning turning women like man, it isinuares that we are to try to emulate Christ in our lives for example

Albeit the Holy Spirit in me tells me different , hence human opinion will not sway my belief.
Just interested in public opinion!!
