You know sometimes I see posts like the ones I do in this thread (posts that playfully reject Biblical marriage) and I just shake my head.

If your a Christian, don't tip toe around what a Biblical marriage is like... It's clear. At least, say you don't believe in that part of God's word. Then we can progress from step one which is "recognizing the problem" which would be people who don't care about that part of God's word.

God has given men the responsibility of leadership in the home. Wives are described as to submit to their husbands as if unto the Lord. No beating around the bushes, no playful words. (shaking my head) I'm not even going to argue... It's crystal clear and everyone knows it.

Couldn't help but laugh at this. How traditional could you want while taking your carefully aimed selfie making sure to get a hefty dose of cleavage? Doesn't strike me as something a traditional man might go for.

Ugly is one of our resident bullies...but maybe best if you did change the photo :) Folks assume things around here before they get to know folks :)
 
I'd settle for one who didn't judge me or try to change me Lol.....it doesn't hurt to keep things neat all and there is nothing worse than a slob but in this day and age it's more of a team effort....its not like you're out plowing the fields in the rain with your team of horses.....or are you? Lol. I think there is that one personality out there that will just work with ours. My problem is being patient and waiting on God to bring the RIGHT one.
It's easy to wax nostalgic about times gone by...but I think the best is yet to come. I didn't mean to hijack your thread.

I didn't insult her, judge her, question her integrity. I simply pointed out that her pic screamed 'modern woman' while stating she wants a traditional man.

And when a person comes to this site talking about getting consequences of their willful choice to sin I don't coddle them. There are already 20 other people patting them on the back sympathizing or repeating hollow spiritual cliches. I prefer offering them something useful, insights into their situation, things that could help them prevent repeating such mistakes. And I don't beat around the bush. Many people have thanked me for being direct. Not sure how many bullies get thanked.
We are part of a body, and all have different roles. This is the role God has given me and uses me with. Some jobs are dirtier than others but that doesn't make them wrong.
A few years ago I may have been more harsh but thanks to friends working with me I have learned to take a softer approach while still being direct.

If all this makes me a bully then I guess I'm a bully.

I've been wondering... what do you really mean by "traditional girl"... describe such a girl!!
 
Maybe a girl that is not moved by political type mindsets ... I could never get along with a girl that followed after the PC non-sense we have now in our society. One that held traditional biblical ideas of morality etc...

Like.... a traditional girl is a girl who's into girl things... who likes jewelry and hand bags and shoes as gifts! Who enjoys wearing dresses and a fancy restaurant and wine... a girl who likes to watch romantic comedies in the movies and loves to dance and stuff like that... Who is sweet and feminine and yada yada yada...
