Political correctness -- it's really built upon a lie and people not saying what they truly feel.

Nothing really offends me anymore. At least I'm trying to live this way so I show more love toward people. We get offended way to much imo

Being lied to, especially when there was no reason to. I can handle all kinds of truths, but a lie never.

people who take God's name in vain, or use loud swear words in public places. now, I am not saying that I never say a bad word, but never ever loud or in the middle of a grocery store. just extremely rude and dis-respectful.

I'm offended by what's passed off as "news". Its a thinly veiled way to attempt to shape the way people think, for the most part.

I'm offended by the way the govt. takes more and more of our freedom. And I'm especially offended by the people applauding it.

People saying f*** the Bible.
People burning Bibles in satanic rituals
Satanic rituals
People burning Bibles for any reason
People worshipping Satan in front of me
People worshipping Saints
People using God's name in vain
People calling me rude names
People not respecting my boundaries
People saying they are my friend and then not giving me the time of day.
People who think they are better than the rest of the world because they are "saved"
Rude hand gestures
Being called "pretty" over and over and over
The pope

So there you have it. That is what I am offended by. There is probably more but I will post that later.

Sometimes but I don't let it affect me. If I get offended I keep it to myself or accept that I am offended and that people will do what they will and move on.

So my question to being offended. Does being offended lead to anger most the time? In the past I would say yes when I got offended. So according to the bible should we get offended over things?

I have a good friend who wrote in one of her books, "If you CAN be offended, you WILL be."

It is hard to not get offended...cuz there are sooooo many offensive things and people. I think as you get older you realize that being offended by something or someone is a huge waste of time. We are created in Gods image....God is a creator...so therefore...we are creators as well.... To a larger degree than most people realize. I believe that our attitude to the world and people around us attract to ourselves what our attitudes justly earn. If we are offendable..we will attract to ourselves things that offend us.....if we are peaceable...we will attract peaceable things.

When others judge a book by it's cover.
Imagine if we all decided to judge a certain amazing book by its plain black leather cover....

...and never opened it?

When someone disrespects me in any way. That offends me. I feel like they should know that I am not to be disrespected. And there are consequences for their actions if they do. Maybe I'm wrong for that, but I feel like if people think they can walk all over you they will. And they need a reality check if they overstep their boundaries. Everyone deserves respect until they prove otherwise. Regardless of what they look like or how cool you think they are.
