I heard someone at work talk about the perils of eating margarine. Though I cook with more natural fats and agreed with her conclusion, I could not follow her reasoning:

She stated "it's one molecule away from plastic."

What does that even mean? Wouldn't any substance be one molecule away from another substance? That's what makes it a different substance. Can't I just look at a periodic chart and say things like "Argon is one molecule away from cobalt," or "Sodium is one molecule away from chlorine?" It's meaningless.

Your coworker is right... and you are right. But it sounds a lot more dramatic if the person is trying to steer people away from margarine. The coworker probably read this (in)famous email:
Butter and Margarine : snopes.com

Me: Oh, look...my paycheck! I'm so rich and have all the money.

*2 hours later after paying bills and taxes*

Me: I'm so poor. I might as well live in a box......
^Someone brought this to my attention (no one on CC) and said that this came off as whiny and not "attractive."

If this came off as such, it was never my intention. It was a COMPLETE joke and am fully satisfied with my income and what I make. I just figured EVERYONE would be able to relate during this tax season ;)

I never want to come off as "whiny" and "ungrateful." I try to live my life full of thankfulness of what I do have and not to look at things that I do not have.

Does the "someone" pay his/her own bills? What you described is my LIFE on payday!

*gets paycheck* WOOHOOOOOOO!

*finishes paying bills* Well... that was quick. Two more weeks until the next WOOHOOOOO... Wonder if I'll have enough gas to get to work until then.

Speaking of books... I'm reading this really interesting book called "Seeking Allah: Finding Jesus" and I'm really enjoying it!
So, I read this and I was processing receipts at my job. As I saw a receipt and was entering it into the software, I noticed that it was a book. And it was "Seeking Allah: Finding Jesus." The ministry I work at bought it for our library (We have a kindle library to teach classes and for interns). I automatically thought of you :)

It's gonna be okay. Guys going to Nail Spa is normal nowadays. You're gonna be fine. :)

I have a question since you've mentioned you're into weight lifting. I'm trying to gain muscles and just started to do body weights training recently. I also bought whey protein powder to help me build muscle faster, my question is when is the best time to drink them? Pre-workout, post-workout, or before bed time? TIA :)
Thanks! I'll give it a try and then let you all know how it went. :D

Could you give me the link to the whey protein that you are using? I am asking for it because the dosage would depend on the protein % and the calories per serving. Usually, whey protein is best consumed as a post-workout drink (either with water or milk, mixed in a protein shaker) or as a post-workout meal with 30-45 minutes of your workout (with bananas, peanut butter and fruits). If the calorie serving isn't much, you could also have another serving with your breakfast. So, I would require the link (or a picture) to the nutrition chart of your whey protein, for giving you my recommendation. :)

No problem, and thanks for your honesty,
it's very "attractive".
(although that last sentence came off a bit 'whiny')

Well, I thought it was funny, and I'm sure many can relate to having"too much month at the end of the money." Nevertheless, I will leave you with this:
