This is a place to make observations. I'll demonstrate.

I have observed that, although a first-person-shooter video game is a thrilling way to pass a couple of hours, it should not be played right before bedtime. You'll go to bed but you will still be so keyed up it will take you a good hour and a half or so to get to sleep. Especially if it's an FPS with a lot of jump-scares.

A girl that had a desk near mine once....like clockwork every morning. For 15 minutes she wouldn't speak...but she would tap her feet, or "sigh....sigh..."

She did all this so someone would say
" Sherry what's wrong?"

Just so she would reply
: Nothing....I'm fine."
lol

I have observed that when you always bump into someone in random places you two have a connection...such as unsettled debts, a grudge, attraction etc...

I have observed the largest smartphones becoming larger than the smallest tablets.

I have also observed my respect for the entire technology industry flying out the window, at about the same time.

I have observed the people who stand around talking all day at work are the same people who complain about what a terrible job it is.

Meanwhile I've observed the people who actually do the work being fairly well adjusted, happy and content. Not overjoyed, mind you... we're at work after all, not at home relaxing... but a lot better off than the other guys.

I have observed if you put marshmallows in the microwave they puff up into a wonderful, warm, soft, tasty treat.

In traditional scientific method I'm gonna go repeat this experiment. Just to make sure it always happens the same every time.

I have observed the downside of a good day is you don't know it will be a good day until it is over.

Best thing to do is treat every day as if it's a good day, just in case it is.

I have observed when I pray "Lord change me" He does start changing me. And then I say "No wait, not THAT way! I was thinking more of changing me this way..."

So a friend of mine decided to move out of the college dorm last year and move in with a friend... we'd gotten pretty close and she knew I was going to miss her, so since she was keep her departure low-profile, dorm dean aside, I was the first person she told.

We were out for a drive, when...
Her: "So... I need to talk to you."
Me: "Mmhmm."
Her: "I'm moving out of the dorm. Other than the dean you're the first person I've told."
Me: *sad silence* "Ok."
Her: "I'm moving in with so-and-so."
Me: "I know."
Her:

"... Oh." *awkward silence* "Wait... howww... would you know that? I haven't told anyone except the dean..."
Me: "You started this conversation just after we drove past her house."

That was one of my finest hours.
