Yes! A complete turn of events,
sure to be a smash hit!
So, please be patient.
Or as we say in the (thread) business...
Keep your pants on! ;)

Did he research the car before he bought it? Land Rovers are... how should I put this.. not known for their excellent build quality. But I hope yours is an exception.
so far, no issues with the car... And since my husband isn't as clever as he likes to admit... He couldn't figure out how to work the windshield wipers, and figured it out right when he got home last night. Lol I laughed so hard when he told me. Ah.... Sweet victory is mine!! ::does evil laugh::....

i mean.... I'm not as mean as I sound. Promise ;)

It's SNOWING here!!!

Just a light dusting, and it's not sticking to the roads yet, but everyone's scared to drive so I have the road to myself. Yay!

JOHN 3:29-31~He who has the bride is the bridegroom; but the friend of the bridegroom, who stands and hears him, rejoices greatly because of the bridegroom's voice. So this joy of mine has been made full. He must increase, but I must decrease.31"He who comes from above is above all, he who is of the earth is from the earth and speaks of the earth. He who comes from heaven is above all

Hey, Squire! I came across a thread from 2012 and someone posted with your name...spelled the exact same way, but they were listed as guest.
No other info.
That was the old me - the artist formerly known as Siberian _Khatru.

Hey syd! Glad to see you this morning, buddy.

The back room is dangerous as you must climb up and down on ladders carrying heavy boxes. Sometimes it is hard to see the next step. I work in the bakery and the oven doesn't work right. It is cramped and slippery walking back and forth. The freezer is not large enough so there are boxes stacked every which way and they are almost impossible to retrieve. Ice is on the floor.

In the deli there are also slicers and an oven. You are not given enough time or support to do your job properly so you are always rushed and that leads to accidents.

The stress in a typical Walmart is tremendous due to typically poor management who only cares about numbers and not people.

They can let you go in a heartbeat no matter how long you have been working for the company.

Walmart is an easy company to get into but this is due to the high turnover. If you get hired you should watch your back and practice CYA.
Is your store talking about unionizing, tourist? That seems to be sort of a thing in a few Wal Mart locations.

Hubby got a new car yesterday... It's a Land Rover 2001.... The same age as MY car.. same color as MY car... Only difference. He got his for dirt cheap... Got mine... 6 years ago at full retail price. My car also has a lot more miles than his does. I bought mine off a dealership lot, he got his.. Off a street corner, a pharmacist was selling his car. Hubby- super excited...
me- paranoid about repairs cause I KNOW... They're not cheap.

Oh I forgot to say that they're really nice though. :) They're like the Jaguar of SUVs. I've never been in one but I got to see one up close once because years ago I actually did some work for a guy who used to play on the washingtons redskins and he had a beautiful black one.

So I think I may have lost my job today. I was called this morning (on my scheduled day off) and asked if I could work today, I said that I was unable to, she threw a fit, made me talk to the HR manager who proceeded to rip into me for not coming in on a day off. End result: I have been removed from the schedule next week. Sigh.

Crummy job anyway.
