I was reading on another site about Cream and it said:

"Soaked in blues, dripping in jazz, this band was heavy, dark, aggressive, not in touch very much with the emerging countercuture, at least musically. Peace, love, flowers in one's hair are not the themes and imagery that come to mind when your getting your ass kicked by Cream in concert."

Boy could Ginger Baker play drums! I have Cream and I LOVE IT! Hmm, hope that doesn't make me dark.

Electric Light Orchestra (ELO) was really good with cello's and strings, it was really a different sound.

That's the song they used for Wonder Years.

I loved that show when I was a kid...
Have you seen Danica McKellar lately? (Winnie) She was on dancing with the stars and is just gorgeous. She's now a mathematician and goes around promoting education. Classy lady.. :)

The Wonder Years was on from 1988-1993. I'm trying to stick with stuff from the 60's and Woodstock.

I loved The Dave Clark Five. I think they even knocked the Beatles off the charts at one time.

I have this albumn and I really love it. It's really groovy how they are doing this video. I can't remember which song it is on the albumn, but it is talking about the night ending and the sun rising and it says: "when lights close their tired eyes", I always thought that was so pretty.

Of all the groups from any era, I think the Moody Blues truthfully "said" more than any other. They touched with almost every song.

A rare one for you. This is actually Sly and the Family Stone doing "Dance to The Music" in French. (They called themselves "The French Fries" for this one.)

Cream is excellent, used to have their stuff along with some solo Clapton as well. Disraeli Gears also one of those utterly flawless albums start to finish.
