Predictable. "It's not my fault I don't trust God. It's your fault. See? See? See?"

Next comes, "I don't have to be moral. I'm not a Christian. But I'm still going to judge you on YOUR morality."

Typical practices of those not truly interested in God at all, merely growing the excuse list for why you find no need to trust him.
It's Biblical what he says.

By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.”

I do not pray for these alone, but also for those who will[e]*believe in Me through their word;*21*that they all may be one, as You, Father,*are*in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me.

That's why the devil loves it when christians fight over doctrine.

How does the devil feel when Christians fight his children masquerading as Christians over doctrine?
Would think that would be upsetting to him, can't imagine any con artist appreciates the thought of being incompetent.

STOP is too general a concept. The idea needs to be expanded to limitations. For instance, we should come to an agreement how many times saying the same things are enough. More than 500 threads that could have had the same title, or anybody who posts the same error, say 1,000 times, this should warrant a STOP. When a thread could be about the star of Bethlehem, and the same guys come along and say they believe there was a star, but everybody needs to stop mentioning grace and telling everybody to sin all they want, when nobody even said the latter in any thread on that topic, much less the star thread: this is enough. Maybe there could be territorial limitations as such. Or a thread about Progresso soup, which we can expect will draw the Campbellites, anyway, but not,

"Esau shouldn't have sold his birthright, but he didn't go around telling everybody they could sin all they want. You lost your salvation, probably spilled your soup on the keyboard, whereas I confess when I leave the cap off the toothpaste. Sure am glad I'm not like other men the past couple thousand years, and the Holy Spirit gives me special interpretations. If you're not eternally insecure, like me, you need to examine yourself and see why you actually trust God."

There could maybe be a STOP in regurgitating stuff like that, cognizant the limitations concept. Until then, what recourse is there, but to tell them to please do take their bat and ball, and, mercifully, go home? Lock the door, deadbolt, chain, push the piano in front of it...

To many of us like to argue doctrinal error when we really should end the false doctrine thread by not responding to the thread. It will die a quick and appropriate death.

Ok y'all.. I ain't been here long but everybody just stop. There are really some good folks in here but the way some of y'all go at each other... C'mon now.. I probably ain't nobody to be saying anything cause I just got here and I will agree I am not as learned as probably a lot of folks on this site.. But on this one thread folks gonna come in here and just stay humble.. This is we all Love God... We know what he is all about.. We know he sent his son Jesus and he's coming back.. He sent the Holy Spirit to help out cause can't none of us do it ourselves.. And we know he's coming back, but do we want him to come back to this kind of arguing? We all have our strong opinions, but in here it's only about the stuff I said and that's it. Y'all come in here and just say how much you love God and see how y'all been doing, maybe even unload a little.. There's a Marshall in here... I've got a loaded tater gun..and I AIN'T afraid to use it......
These kinds of posts pop up every so often. No one ever stops. And half the time the thread itself spawns arguments. This is how the people in the BDF are. It's not going to change because of a post.

I think the same if they get mad and go name calling. Even if I fight the devil I can't call him names and loose my temper. There was a text about that, that angel that even stayed decent to the devil with the body of Moses. God once gave me a warning dream years ago. At that time I had a bit of troubles with my mother. We're christian. My dad isn't saved yet but very open. I dreamt that we went out for a cup of coffee and he asked things about God and was very open. Then I started to be disrespectful to my mom, I just said something like: oh what do you know? I know better. And he didn't want to listen anymore and walked away. It didn't happen irl, because I listened.

But there's much to be learned many times by engaging opposing viewpoints. There are threads for people who don't like controversy. Why do those who don't like heated discussions insist on reading them?

WTH ??????

Where did that come from? What "Put Down?"

I attended a Calvary Chapel for two years. A fantastic church. If exegetical teaching is your thing, you can't find a better place. And they are strict in this, they do little teaching of any other kind.
does little more than just go through the Bible,
they do a lot more than that.

Oh, I see now. I went and checked another thread. I get it now. This is your "pay back" for my comment in that thread.
No, as I just posted

Maybe you have a payback mentality. At least I don't go digging up moldy posts in a vain attempt to 'payback' as you call it.

I would say if your looking for the "perfect" church that teaches everything "perfect" You will never find one (in my 40 years, I have yet to find one.

So find a church that preaches the right gospel. And focuses on body life. And you will probably be ok.. A few differences of non essentials is not going to kill a church.
Nah, no such thing as perfect. I just want to find a good place that preaches a good message and uses the Bible. I've found quite a lot of NOT that so far. I just need to keep looking though and I'm confident I'll find a good fit for me. Once I develop some beliefs (which is where talking to good Christian folks would be handy), my needs for a church might change. Who knows?

There are some good theologically sound churches out there. Unfortunately over the past hundred years or so, the church has been overrun by false doctrine and completely antibiblical practices. I would recommend a strait forward reformed church of some sort.

The last message board I was on was run by reformed people in ministry who banned me because I wouldn't say everything they wanted me to say.

I've seen it before when one reformed radio group was calling other Christian churches a cult because they were not part of the reformed denomination.

Would you rather everyone be saved and apostate or a few doctrinally correct and everyone unsaved?
They is a reason they are unsaved:

That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

Praying for you brother. Seems you have the desire and willingness to find the Truth, and may God draw you nearer to Him. Even with your first post in this thread, you are still here. Praise God you have not tuned out . May you find what you are seeking, and am so thankful you are not denying God or His Existence, as you have stated you make no secret that you are not a Christian. God bless, and God be with you.
