No one is teaching Paul taught two Gospels when it comes to MAD. The question is did the church begin in Acts 2, 9 or 13. Classical dispensationists say 2.

From a MAD website. Two gospels. Cursed.

Basic teachings of Mid Acts Dispensational right division
– The mystery of Christ was first revealed to Paul
– Prophecy and mystery are different
– Peter and Paul taught different messages
– The gospel of the kingdom is not the gospel of the grace of God

Oh thus the name: mad.

What you left out is there is only one gospel that saves, the gospel of the grace of God.

Acts 18:24-28:
24 And a certain Jew named Apollos, born at Alexandria, an eloquent man, and mighty in the scriptures, came to Ephesus.

25 This man was instructed in the way of the Lord; and being fervent in the spirit, he spake and taught diligently the things of the Lord, knowing only the baptism of John (Repent and be baptized for the remission of sins)
26 And he began to speak boldly in the synagogue: whom when Aquila and Priscilla had heard, they took him unto them, and expounded unto him the way of God more perfectly (the way Jesus instructed Apostle Paul)
27 And when he was disposed to pass into Achaia, the brethren wrote, exhorting the disciples to receive him: who, when he was come, helped them much which had believed through grace:

28 For he mightily convinced the Jews, and that publicly, shewing by the scriptures that Jesus was Christ.

This man was still preaching the gospel of the circumcision after Paul has established a better way through grace by faith. Peter has realized this way is from God and has stepped back out of the picture giving way to Paul. God used Peter to open the door and then Paul to expound the way more perfectly.

There is no such thing as a gospel of circumcision. Apollos was proclaiming the baptism of John because he hadn't heard the full story of Christ; he wasn't proclaiming circumcision.

Peter and Paul proclaimed the same gospel. Those who teach otherwise are liars and cursed.

In actual fact, Peter, James, and the Jerusalem crowd WERE attempting to impose far more "doctrine" upon new converts than Jesus ever asked of them. That was one of the primary points of contention Paul brought out very vividly in the book of Galatians.

That's so true Willie!...it doesn't take the judaizers long to come in and try to promote a "works-based" salvation. Even when Paul went he went to Jerusalem for the last time - some of the Jewish believers tried to kill Paul in Acts 21 - because of his gospel and the Lord used the Romans to keep him alive. Religion is vicious and ruthless.

Acts 21:20-22 (NASB)
[SUP]20 [/SUP] And when they heard it they began glorifying God; and they said to him, "You see, brother, how many thousands there are among the Jews of those who have believed, and they are all zealous for the Law; ( sound familiar? )
[SUP]21 [/SUP] and they have been told about you, that you are teaching all the Jews who are among the Gentiles to forsake Moses, telling them not to circumcise their children nor to walk according to the customs.
[SUP]22 [/SUP] "What, then, is to be done? They will certainly hear that you have come.

Are you serious? When a group of men advertise on a website like that, it doesn't mean Mickey Mouse instead was doing that.

Are you serious?

I should go to the internet to find out what you believe, instead of going to you personally?

The internet knows more about what YOU BELIEVE than you do?

That is what you are telling me, is this true??

Sounds like you read more junk on the Internet than most do, otherwise how would you know?
How would I know?

Well lets see, HRFTD keeps telling me I believe this because of what he read on the internet.
HRFTD and others tell myself and others what they believe, by what they read on the internet or out of some book (ie hyper grace etc).
You sent me to the internet to show me what some dude believed, Saying the internet knows more about what they believe.

What kind of response is this? I am not the one sending everyone to the internet.. As I said, I do not get my beliefs from the internet.

But I guess it is true You are arguing for me to go t the internet to find out what you believe, instead of open mindedly listening to you and what you believe.

The main trouble here, besides such a statement being all wrong, is that what Grace Believers say is that it is not REQUIRED to regain Salvation by confessing each sin. OF COURSE we confess our sins. How could we tell God we are sorry, if we couldn't say what we are sorry for?

You know very well that there are sins you (and each of us) commit regularly that we have not confessed. Maybe because we aren't aware of them, or that we really don't think we are sinning. But that leaves us with a problem. Just because we might not consider an action of ours, a sin, if it is to God, then it IS, period.

But, we haven't done the "legal thing" and made confession. So, play it any way you want to, that leaves that "sin" un-confessed.

We say God knows, and understands. You say, "No, you now have un-confessed sin in your life, and are, therefore, forever out of fellowship with God until you fulfill the legal obligation of "confessing" that particular sin.

Basically, you are condemning yourself, and denying the gift of already having been forgiven, by making "confession" a law that you have to keep, in each and every circumstance. (Or, are you admitting you can be forgiven without confessing?)

It goes back to the old saying

1. If repenting of every sin is required to be saved, then no one will be saved.
2. If repenting of only knowns sins are required, then no one could be saved, because there is no way we can know every "known" sin (I know anger is a sin, I had road rage, and then got to work, went about my day, and forgot to confess that Known sin)

so if confession is required, We are all headed to hell.. Even the legalists who demand it..

The we got people like Peter, HRFTD and others saying anyone who teaches grace is teaching hypergrace, gonsiticism or whateverism, Because we put them in an ecel spreadsheet, and look for the key word phrases..

I would just like to add to this: Apollos was instructed in the way of the Lord, mighty in the scripture. He taught John's baptism - to repent and be baptized for the remission of sins. At this time the baptism of the holy Spirit was being introduced and I believe that Aquila and Priscilla expounded unto him the way of God more perfectly by teaching him of the baptism of the holy Spirit.

IMHO. :)

It was the pharisees, not the apostles, who were trying to bring gentiles into bondage to the law. Paul's and the other apostles' gospel agreed. Acts 15 proves both my points.

And this is why Paul had to openly chasten Peter?

It was definitely some of the judaizers that believed in Jesus ( just like today ) that stirred up the other jewish people against Paul in Acts 21..I also find it funny that Paul calls these judaizers "dogs of the circumcision "..workers of the law..self-effort works-based salvationists.

Acts 21:20-22 (NASB)

Acts 21:27-28 (NASB)
[SUP]27 [/SUP] When the seven days were almost over, the Jews from Asia, upon seeing him in the temple, began to stir up all the crowd and laid hands on him,
[SUP]28 [/SUP] crying out, "Men of Israel, come to our aid! This is the man who preaches to all men everywhere against our people and the Law and this place; and besides he has even brought Greeks into the temple and has defiled this holy place."
People that are "zealous" for the law ( self-effort in the flesh - works-based salvationsits) get really angry at people that preach grace by faith alone in Christ. ( this is so true even to this day..)

How many of us on CC here would still be alive if the judaizers amongst us would be allowed to kill us? Man-made religion is an enemy to the gospel of grace of the Lord Jesus Christ

And this is why Paul had to openly chasten Peter?

Amen.....notice that the party of the circumcision came from James......works-based types corrupt others as can be seen in that they even affected Barnabas...a little leaven ruins the whole lump..

Galatians 2:12-13 (NASB)
[SUP]12 [/SUP] For prior to the coming of certain men from James, he used to eat with the Gentiles; but when they came, he began to withdraw and hold himself aloof, fearing the party of the circumcision.
[SUP]13 [/SUP] The rest of the Jews joined him in hypocrisy, with the result that even Barnabas was carried away by their hypocrisy.

That says the Jews from Asia (Babylon) stirred up the crowds against Paul. You're just making an assumption that they were believers.

He never said they were saved,

Many of the jews believed in Jesus, but was apposed to paul because paul rejected the mosaic law as a means to salvation. The book of hebrews proves this..
