Wherein God, being minded to show more abundantly unto the heirs of promise the immutability of His Counsel, interposed with an oath, that by two immutable things in which it is impossible for God to lie we may have a strong encouragement who have fled for refuge to lay hold of the hope set before us, which we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and steadfast, and entering into that within the veil, whither as a forerunner Jesus entered for us, having become a High Priest for ever after the order of Melchisedek (Heb 7.7-20).
Wherefore He is able to save to the uttermost them that come unto God by Him, seeing He ever lives to make intercession for them (Heb 7.25).
He has perfected for ever those who are being sanctified (Heb 10.14)
That's what he's there for: to help us. We don't have to be perfect, just faithful to abide in Christ's perfect work. Grace.

Christians have the will of God within us. God did not come into us without His will, and He is "at work in us, both to will and to work for His good pleasure" (Phil. 2:13). We understand what the will of the Lord is and "do the will of God from the heart" (Eph. 6:6) by the dynamic of His grace. The will of God is not something exterior to us, we have the "will of God" within us, it is always the life and character of Jesus lived out in us and through us to the glory of God.
so we have to do the will of God, but we don't have to, you want it both ways. we either have to do the will of God or we don't. Now you are saying we don't. If we abide in Christ's perfect work we are eternally secure. Grace means God does everything!!

I am saying that we don't do the will of God. (Perhaps you should learn to keep your insults to yourself. Then people will treat you the same)
To do the will of GOD is to believe into Christ's perfect faith and remain there. Grace does not require our perfection, it requires our faithfulness to abide in Christ's perfection.
He's a strong believer in man's total inability, even after regeneration, which necessitates the belief that GOD has to do everything.
The below is the will of God..
1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 (NASB)
[SUP]16 [/SUP] Rejoice always;
[SUP]17 [/SUP] pray without ceasing;
[SUP]18 [/SUP] in everything give thanks; for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus.
According to the works-based salvationists....if one day you don't pray, or rejoice, or fail to give thanks..you are not doing the "will of God"..and you die that night in your sleep...you go to hell for not doing the will of God.
1 Peter 2:13-16 says to obey the ones in authority is the will of God....so if you are speeding your car and it crashes and you die...you go to hell.
This "doing the will of God" is a cop-out for having a self-righteous D.I.Y. holiness mindset.
Jesus did the will of God - we believe in Him and He changes us from the inside out to live out His life.
We are saved by grace through faith...there is no "back-loaded" works for salvation. That is the construct of the self-righteous because they don't do the biggie sins but they can be full of malice and slander ( but that's ok...at least they didn't steal like some other person did )

This is just an absurd false characterization promulgated by "grace" believers. I would bet that only a fringe believes this.

I would be more concerned that you would say this in spite of what Titus 3:5 says:
"Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost" Titus 3:5
Never said that. I don't claim to be sinless. The phrase, "and he cannot sin" does not mean cannot ever sin at all. Those who are born of God can and do still sin, but he is not describing our occasional sins. Nor is he describing sinless perfection as some have falsely interpreted it. What John is saying is that an individual who is truly born again, who has God's seed, cannot continually live a lifestyle of lawlessness. Why? Because believers have a new nature that pursues (however imperfectly) righteousness and not lawlessness. See Galatians 5:19-21.
And I showed you that the Jews were called the "servants of the Lord". Isaiah 43:10 - "You are my witnesses," declares the LORD, "and my servant whom I have chosen, so that you may know and believe me and understand that I am He." *This does not mean they were all saved. Are you suggesting otherwise? They are given a place with the unbelievers/unfaithful because that's what they are. In parallel, we read in Matthew 24:48 - But suppose that servant is wicked and says to himself, ‘My master is staying away a long time,’ 49 and he then begins to beat his fellow servants and to eat and drink with drunkards. 50 The master of that servant will come on a day when he does not expect him and at an hour he is not aware of. 51 He will cut him to pieces and assign him a place with the hypocrites, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. Unbelievers are cast into hell, not children of God.
Galatians 4:6 - And because you are sons, God has sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father. 7 Therefore you are no more a slave/servant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.
John 8:35 - The slave/servant does not abide in the house for ever; the Son does remain forever.
You seem to confuse God's will for us TO BECOME SAVED - John 6:40 - For my Father’s will is that everyone who looks to the Son and believes in him shall have eternal life, and I will raise them up at the last day. - Justification.
With God's will for us AFTER WE HAVE BEEN SAVED - 1 Thessalonians 4:3 - For this is the will of God, your sanctification: [that] you abstain from sexual immorality. - ongoing Sanctification.
I don't confuse or conflate them at all. Our sanctification requires our cooperation and the participation of our will. Just because GOD wills that every man be saved doesn't mean it's going to happen. He will not preempt man's will. And without sanctification, no one will see the lord.
