I was a grain nut, a kernel lost in weeds and thorns. But the Lord has purpose in nuts.

Unless a grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies, it abides alone; but if it dies, it brings forth much fruit.

Ooooh, unfortunate... Sorry coby, people over here in the USA can turn anything into a dirty saying. It's not your fault.

To the topic at hand: I'd be a pecan. Softer than most of the others, always hanging around with pies, can be found almost anywhere.

Cashews are my favorite, so I call cashews!

Kind of a cool plant for a nut.
It may sound nuts for someone making a nuts thread, but I had no idea these things grew on trees. Yeah it makes sense. That acorn also grows on a tree, but somehow I guess I thought cashew nuts grew in the supermarket or something.

I wanna be an acorn. They remind me of a service I attended once with my mom in England. The woman that was teaching was talking about a tree she saw and it was full of acorns. But in Dutch an eekhoorn which sounds exactly the same as acorn is a squirrel. So my mom and I were amazed. Wow!! A tree full of squirrels! Normally you only see one or two when you're lucky. She went on with her teaching and it became clear to me that she wasn't talking about squirrels, but my mom was still in awe about so many squirrels, so I punched her and said: no she means eikels, acorns. Then we had to laugh so hard and were unable to stop, we had to go outside.

I love cashews...so probably a cashew. ;)

It took me a while to realize what Coby's meme actually means lol. I'm sure even she didn't know when she posted it.

I pressed my luck in the "fruit" thread. I'm staying out of this one. :)
