What, I am forever 29!!!! At 92 I am sure I will still be acting as my friends and family tell me a teenager! I love adventure and love to have fun and as long as my body allows me to I will be a teenager with wisdom.

I am concerned more about the state of mind then the body in the later years. Not in a neurological sense, but in a perspective view.
I have gotten, as I think most of us do, more suspicious and cynical, and resigned to the sin of man as I have aged. It takes some of the joy out of it.
God was right, of course He was. It is better that we would have never known sin and remained innocent and foreign to it. It is the sins of man that causes death.

I read somewhere that sales people are taught sometimes to talk and sell to the customers as if they were 15 years younger. Because most older people feel that way.

I do.

I can confirm......super, great dad! But also, yes, super set in his ways. Know who he is for sure. (Not a bad thing at all. just knows what he likes, how he likes them, and likes the way things are.)
Knowing who you are, and being content there is a good thing. :)

I read somewhere that the definition of old, was
when you bent down to pull your socks up, then
wondered if there was anything else you needed to do while
still down there. :D

Oh my, I do that already. Lol

I'm in a philosophical mood at the moment. I was chatting to
someone earlier today who looks after a 98 year old.

It got me wondering what it would be like to be 98, will we
know everything, will there be anything left worth talking about.

Will there still be goals to aim for, will life still shock us or will it
just be the same old same old.

Will we know the bible back to front and inside out, or will we
still be learning.

But then what about those early bible characters who lived 100s of
years.

Part of me hopes I will fit the latter category below. Lol
The fellow I sit by in choir is 96 years old. He is a rare bird. It doesn't seem to me most people live that long. People that do live that long don't normally seem to be in very good shape. John, the old guy, gets around well, though slowly. His main problem seems to be reading the music. I frequently need to show him where we are, or find the right song in his folder, since he doesn't see very well.

So.... When you reach 104 what tattoo will you get and where will
you put it. :)

A great-granddad from Derbyshire is set to become the oldest person
in the world to get a tattoo to celebrate his 104th birthday.

Chesterfield resident Jack Reynolds appeared on Good Morning Britain,
with host Susanna Reid describing him as her “all-time favourite guest”.

The centenarian, who two years ago became the oldest person to complete
the Ice Bucket Challenge, has also revealed where he would like to get it.

“On my bum. I'd prefer to see it on my arm, but I've got skinny arms. I've
got weights to try and make them bigger, but we'll see,” he said.

love some of these posts!!!

hubby and I just want to share that our Heavenly Father has taught us how to embrace our age,
aches, pains, loss, but, we couldn't be more grateful for the history of our many years upon this earth -
and one thing is certain, we would never want to 'go-back'.....our hearts belong to our Saviour, and we
only desire to always be ready to answer when He calls or commands....

Oh love it.

I have often thought that if I ever end up in an old people's home I'm gonna
tell everyone about Jesus whether they like it or not! Sort of a captive audience. Lol

If I'm in an old age home, I will pass out my little red bird pictures. Hopefully, they will all be able to handle "one word". And get a laugh.
