There's a difference between telling the truth for the sake of justice... and Trump approving of killing innocent children, approving of assassinating journalists, mocking people, boasting about adultery, etc.

While the presidential candidates are all terrible, the only reason one elects a president is for the policies he or she will bring to the table. Whether or not one believes in the Christian theology is not important as long as their policies are good. I suppose some character has to do with this as well, but you can have integrity and compassion without being Christian.

Name calling toward One individual is Not the same as name calling toward 11 million people i.e. calling illegal Mexicans "rapist, criminals, and drug pushers"-- which is Exactly what Trump called them. And he's a presidential candidate, so, NO, it's Not ok for him.
Plus, calling Trump racist for saying that is NOT name calling.. Its simply pointing out a FACT!
I don't consider myself a Trump supporter but I went and looked up the exact statements on youtube as well as his later clarification. He said he assumed some were good people, so it seems like an exaggeration to say he was applying that to all illegal Mexicans. And apparently he was talking about immigrants in general, not just mexicans.
Also, the broken border drug trade is part of what fuels inner city violence, one of the main contributors to gun homicide in the US. I'm glad it's getting attention at least.

So since his racist remark was toward all immigrants, it's ok.. I don't think so. Sure he called some immigrants ok, but that simply implys he thinks most immigrants are rapists,etc.
The majority of illegal drugs coming in are coming from drug cartels.... Who are rich enough and smart enough to either already have their American citizenship, be a legal permanent resident, or at least have a work visa. Even if we could completely stop illegal immigration, it's NOT going to stop the illegal drugs... Its actually 2 different problems and our problem is we think it's the same problem.

his remarks toward all illegal immigrants makes it possibly non racial. I just want better evidence of racism, since people throw the word around so lightly these days. it has become political ammunition.
Maybe it's true that stopping illegal immigration won't stop the drugs -- but it's a necessary part of combating them. Even if it weren't practical, I think people like the idea of a wall because it sends a definitive message on an issue we have waffled on for decades due to political and cultural gridlock.
