1) Don't take any guff. Be kind to woman, children and animals, but don't take any nonsense. This is an essential part of being a biker. It has to do with respect and honor. Anyone can be a brash, quick- tempered lout. Be cool, stand tall and backup what you say with action.
1 Corinthians 16:13
Be on guard. Stand firm in the faith. Be courageous. Be strong.

2) Never lie, cheat or steal. Another way of saying this is to always tell the truth. Bikers are always the greasy bad guys in the movies, but every real biker knows that his word is his bond. Your word is all you have in life that is truly yours. Guard it carefully and be about something noble, for you are a true knight of the road.
Leviticus 19:11
"Do not steal. Do not deceive or cheat one another.”

3) Don't snitch. If you see a wrong, fight it yourself. If you are about anything, you'll take care of problems yourself and never feel the need to snitch someone off. Snitches are the lowest life forms on earth, right up there with biker thieves. This rule goes hand in hand with the next one.
Proverbs 18:24
There are "friends" who destroy each other, but a real
Friend sticks closer than a brother.

4) Don't Snivel. Absolutely no one likes or respects a sniveler. Another way to say this is hold your mud. Still another way to think of it is, "Don't sweat the small stuff." Most of life's little inconveniences work themselves out whether you snivel or not. Keep your chin up! You're a biker, not some lowly mollusk.
Philippians 4:11
Not that I was ever in need, for I have learned how to be content with whatever I have.

5) Never say die and never give up. Whether it's in a fight, a debate, or a business deal, no matter how bad it gets, a biker never gives up.
Isaiah 41:10
Don't be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand.

6) Help others. When a brother or sister is broken down by the side of the road, stop and help them. Even moral support, it that is all you can give, is better than riding on by. Remember life is about the journey, the ride, not getting there. You already are there. And don't just help bikers; show the world that we are better than our image portrays us. Courtesy costs you nothing and gives you everything.
Matthew 25:40
"And the King will say, 'I tell you the truth, when you did it to one of the least of these my brothers and sisters, you were doing it to me!'

7) Stick to your guns. Do what you say you'll do, be there when you say you will. This is called integrity. This also goes back to standing for something. Like the song says, "You've got to stand for something or you'll fall for anything."
Proverbs 2:21
For only the godly will live in the land, and those with integrity will remain in it.

8) Life is not a drill. Yeah, this ain't no dress rehearsal. This is life-go out and take big bites of it. You've got no time to lose and bikers don't stand around waiting for the party to come to them. Tomorrow you could be road kill, thanks to a chain smoker asleep at the wheel of his Caddy. Live life now, make the most of each moment. This is not a drill.
James 4:14
How do you know what your life will be like tomorrow? Your life is like the morning fog--it's here a little while, then it's gone.

The Biker's Code - Biblical Wisdom?

I don't know if it's Biblical wisdom, because I don't really familiarize myself with any group codes or religious laws or Bible protocol or anything like that.

I only trust God's wisdom revealed by the Holy Spirit within our hearts. And basically it all hangs on two things:

1. Love God the Father by trusting & believing Him
2. Treat people just the way you want to be treated

That "code" sounds good, but a lot of it sure seems to miss Jesus' example......... (and I am now on my 46th motorcycle.)

No. Typical Man Wisdom. The world does not revolve around us. We are not the center of the universe. God is.

In my younger days sometimes I had as many as five bikes in two months. Sometimes I owned three at a time. Buy junk, fix it up, ride it long enough to attract a buyer, then sell it. I've had my present bike (probably my last one) since around '93.

So, it's even worse than you thought. LOL

What bikers go by this "code?"

Hell's Angels?

Banditos?

Yes, I know a lot, a lot of good people ride bikes.............but a lot, a lot of really, really BAD people do also, and I wouldn't want people believing they live/ride by this "code."

(edited to say) This sounds a lot like a "Cowboy's Code" I once say.

There are good points in this code but I would go to the only source of absolute truth, the Word of God.

My uncle bought a 1964 corvette. His kids were still young then, all but the one who wasn't born for another three years. Four kids, and each one got to drive it when they were teens. And each one totaled it. And two of them totaled it more than once. But he still has his 1964 corvette. (Oh, wow! I just realized his grandkids are getting old enough to borrow it. Yikes!)

That side of the family had a habit of doing the same thing to their dirt bikes, then real bikes, then four wheelers. Most of them also knew how to fix them, because the repair bills got to be too much. (And you'd think breaking their own bones would convince them that's not a good idea -- alas. More broken bones that 1964 corvette crashed.)

Good code, but the ultimate, as most of us here know, is Gods word. A lot the bikers code is close to Gods principles anyway. The code tends to line up in some form or another with the word.
Like Christians, the world tends to judge all or most bikers by the minority of bikers who don't follow the spirit of their code or mans law, and/or Gods law; those who are committing outright and undeniable prideful, selfish and greedy sinful actions.
Which is not fair, but unfortunately, that's the way it is.
I have known a small number of bikers over the years, even some from the old first Ave and First St. clubhouse. I generally like bikers, they are mostly down to earth guys, not pretentious. They tell you where it is at, you don't need to guess with them, most of the time, anyway. Also, they have each others backs, have to respect that.
But I can do without some of the uncalled for violence. A lot of it is just downright stupid. And some of the other stuff that some of them are involved with. There are better ways to make a living.
But again, that is not just bikers. A lot of younger people (and some older) have those same issues, bikers or not.
God bless.

Some parts of the "code" are good, because they reflect Christ-like behavior...

I disagree with the part about not ever backing down, etc.... bunch of macho BS....

Many "bikers" go LOOKING for a reason to react.... "he DISRESPECTED me, man" look at what happened in Waco a while back.... all about how someone's "turf" got figuratively stepped on, and several people died.

It's similar to junior-high mentality, taken to dangerous, adult levels.

That's not Christ-like..... Jesus was mistreated on numerous occasions, and quietly took it.

I'm not saying to not react to violence against yourself or your loved ones, but insults and "slights" .... nah
