Secret hobbies? Not so much.
Most people around me know or at least have an idea of what I like, hobby-wise.
I will admit that one of my hobbies is collecting random information and skills... some of them being secret ninja skillz. :rolleyes:

I have a lot of hobbies. I don't know about secret ones though. I do love to cook healthy dishes and often designate a day to cook a whole bunch ahead of time for the rest of the week.

Like today.... so far I have cooked up:

1. Refried Beans w/Minced Onion in the crockpot.
2. Hummus with Garlic and Cracked Black Pepper
3. Hard Boiled Eggs & Boiled Potatoes (for making Potato Salad later today)
4. And I intend to make Sugar Cookies w/Gluten Free Flour (Melita, if you recall I made them at Christmas time) :eek:
5. And I'm roasting a whole chicken for dinner tonight, too.

Cooking (it's shocking, I know)
Exercising (something I was doing before but have had to step up because of my sudden interest in cooking...)

And then there's not so new hobbies...

Reading
Painting (haven't done that in a while)
Gardening

...I thought I had more, but I guess that's all.

Spray painting. Weird,I know. But its a good way to save some cash. I painted my heating vents,outdoor decor, and light switch plates. I just found out they make spray paint for fabric!! That gave me a huge happy! Look out yard sales,here I come!

If we're throwing the not-so-secret hobbies out there, too...:rolleyes:


I like gardening and designing gardens (regular gardens are great, but I especially love live fairy gardens, terrariums, bonsai, etc... Now that I think about it, there's probably some very deep psychological micro-management implications there xD). I'm not good at it, but I enjoy it very much.

I like drawing (so far as hobbies go, it's my first love)

Sculpting (I don't get to do this NEARLY as often as I'd like, because the materials are hard for me to find or are expensive)

Painting (on again, off again - it's been a while)

Reading (I love history, biographies (Alison Weir is da bomb), and carefully researched historical fiction, along with books that aid my quest for both random and useful knowledge :rolleyes:... I also enjoy weird and frequently morbidly funny authors, like Lemony Snicket)

Photography (I have a thing for macro in particular)

Digital art/Photoshop (but you've probably already noticed this... heheh)

Knitting/crocheting (haven't done that in while... suddenly... feel the urge to... knit...)

Flea markets :rolleyes: Because you canny buy cool old stuff at Walmart... (sky, YankeesGirl, have to ever been to First Monday Trade Days down in Texas? You guys'd die of happiness!)

Tea (At the moment, Earl Grey. Hot.)

well, I often go out on ███████ where travel to remote high ███████ , often times in ████████ zones. My goal is usually ████████ extraction, or the recovering of sensitive information or equipment, such as the next ██████████ of ███████ technology that the ███████ Government managed to extracted from the ███ servers. After parachuting onto the roof of the ████████ of ███████ building, I had to break through the locks on the elevator service door, the ████ ███████ I brought. After getting inside I made my way down to server room. I wiped the data from the servers, mission complete, and made my way out. I had to sneak across the boarder into █████ for recovery.

Definitely one of my favorite hobbies.

I'm learning how to garden and then can and preserve my harvest. I'm learning how to cook even though I can a little bit, but I want to get better. I want to take a class in blacksmithing at the local junior college so I can make some basic tools and knives and such.

I'm trying to learn the skills so when I retire in a few years I can live in my cabin full time and not need much help with stuff.

well, I often go out on banana peels where travel to remote high Mario Kart Rainbow Road, often times in wibbly wobbly timey wimey zones. My goal is usually horcrux extraction, or the recovering of sensitive information or equipment, such as the next cream of mushroom technology that the Gallifreyan Government managed to extracted from the pi servers. After parachuting onto the roof of the Donkey Kong of Death building, I had to break through the locks on the elevator service door, the Starship Enterprise I brought. After getting inside I made my way down to server room. I wiped the data from the servers, mission complete, and made my way out. I had to sneak across the boarder into Rolo McFlurry for recovery.

Yep... seems legit. :cool:
