I hope no one reading this has a pacemaker, but . . .

I listened to Sanders several times. He actually is an endearing person who intentions seem to be good, however, socialism is tyrannical in nature regardless of those select few socialists who's intentions are actually good. I'm voting against the democratic ticket regardless of who's on that ticket.
I wish everyone could disagree like you. No one has to accept Sanders' ideological points, but hear the guy and see what he's about and who he is. I like this post very much. :)

2 Corinthians 11:13) For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ.
14 .) And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.
15 .) Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.

(edited to say)

This passage of Scripture can also apply to Trump and/or the other Candidates still in the race.

Jesus on socialized medicine:

Great crowds came to him, bringing the lame, the blind, the crippled, the mute and many others, and laid them at his feet; and he healed them.
(Matthew 15:30)

Wow didn't know the miracle power of Jesus Christ came from a political concept of evil men?

what do you honestly think is so evil about using tax revenue to provide basic healthcare to every citizen in a 1st world country?

Jesus didn't charge money or check green cards before He healed, taught or fed people. He didn't even demand that they were sinless before He offered them bread. so really -- what is the example He's giving for us? and why shouldn't i be in favor of a system of government that reflects the same sort of humanitarian love, as opposed to one driven by the love of money?

ever since i was a child less than 10 years old and first learned about different forms of government, i've been drawn towards a democratic socialistic model, precisely because it seems to me to best reflect Christian values of caring for the poor and needy, the widow and the orphan, without the loss of property rights and without the danger of tyrannical fascism in a dictatorship-styled communist state.

i believe national tax revenue should be used for the good of all citizens.

WARNING :

this video contains some crude language and remarks.

Sarah Silverman is a Jewish-American comedian with strong political views that she very often incorporates into her comedy. she's a staunch feminist and liberal, who was vocally pro-Hilary, but in a video she posted last week, which subsequently virally exploded in # of views across the internet, she makes a really strong argument for Sanders.
if you haven't already seen this, it's worth watching.
keep in mind though (fair warning again) this video includes a couple of vulgar language and references. i still think it's worth hearing her out - she is a very smart woman - but don't watch it if you think that'll offend you.

Have you ever studied the history of socialism and who formed those concepts? And taking other peoples money to pay for folks to live destructive and wasteful lifestyles has nothing to do with the teachings of Christ.

Thanks for calling all poor people destructive and wasteful. And, YES, that is a statement you just made.

I'm going to have to share this video. She debunks the prejudices of socialism and explains that socialistic concepts are already ingrained into society today and conservatives hold no objections to them.

yeah i've read some history in my time. i've read about destructive and wasteful lifestyles of the early American rich elite who used capitalism to trample the poor too, before some "socialist" reforms were put in place to bust up the trusts and the power of monopolies and big banks, and guarantee some rights for workers.

you don't seem to be see any distinction between democratic socialism and stalinist totalitarianism though? why is that? i can't tell if you're intentionally mischaracterizing Sanders / smearing him by making false associations, or if you actually don't understand that there is a very real difference between him & chairman Mao.. ?
