Right ..no one knows but what he recorded ..and the idea that Bernie supporters are nice people is just silly... while Trump folks are mean? The evidence is completely contrary and this little show is just that...propaganda

Well I doubt many Christians are at Bernie Rallys ..don't you? So why would you expect non-Christians to act like Christians?Who said anything about it being a Christian rally
I didn't know going to a Trump or Bernie rally means you can ignore the teachings of the bible on how we are to conduct ourselves as Christians. And if you notice, I said people (in general), not people of a particular political party, love those who agree with them but often times show contempt to any opposition. We see this in the real word and unfortunately in these forums.

Well, had not the GOP been displaying such an awful lack of fingerspitzengefühl when they allowed that bunch of candidates to be running for office, there would not be a problem. But I really don't want Trump or Clinton to take office...
the subject came up a couple times in homegroups and i was surprised to find out how many people in my church actually do support Sanders. not anything like a majority, sure. they all had a similar attitude - didn't want to be vocal about it because they figured Trump supporters in the church would be unreasonably angry with them and talking about it would just lead to profitless arguing.
there's a similar dynamic there as i see online - the handful of people who are really swept up with worldly politics are really vehemently partisan.

we're fools to think any politician is going to either 'make the country great' or 'bring the country to its knees'
it's often said about businesses, no company is better than its employees -- well the nation too, is made up of hundreds of millions of people, and the political issues that people are upset about reflect the values of 300 million of your neighbors. you want the country to be great? be great yourself, and help the people you touch in your life every day be great. be righteous yourself, and help the people close to you be righteous too!
the next president isn't going to either save or damn us - only Christ saves, and the citizens of this country damn themselves with or without a POTUS or congressman. there's nothing in the Bible about our political leaders except to honor them because they are set in place by God, and to pray for them so our lives may be peaceful -- but there's plenty about treating our neighbors well, and doing what's right ourselves

he purposefully and carefully avoided saying anything for or against any candidate or party. whenever he was asked he replied with "why should it matter? i'm for love." all he talked about was that he felt the big problem in the country was hatred, that we needed more love, and offered free hugs.
in the extended Trump rally footage, i was glad to see that he did get a lot of hugs in, despite the bad apples.

The thing is, civilly disagreeing and showing respect isn't even a Christian exclusive thing. People of all faiths (and atheists) believe in this concept. Bernie isn't a Christian but he emulates this very concept... some say he does this to a fault (doesn't attack Hillary when there are so many open shots).

KKK wardrobe and "free hugs" are vastly different attire. One is obviously making a statement, the other is more neutral (unless you think only Sander's camp loves hugs and Trump/Cruz/Kasich/Clinton camp hates the concept of hugs). Also, I'm not sure how Bernie Sanders rallies compare to a Black Lives Matter rally.

I think Sanders comes across as a nice guy, but I'm not sure I'll be endorsing him. The main reason is his take on states rights and abortion. Now, I know the POTUS isn't the one making all the calls here, but pro choice and federal aggrandizement don't cut it with me. But, the alternatives are so bad that I might wind up endorsing him after all.
