EVERYONE!!! For a "Christian" char room some of you are not polite. For one I'm not insecure. I have learned that when someone does not engage in a conversation with you back and forth there will be trouble In marriage. Look at the statistics. But I have witnessed the most wonderful long term marriages because they ask questions not just on theirselves but on topics, hobbies, news etc... This man doesn't ask me squat. Perfect example, if he would have asked me last Christmas if I like ear rings or wear them he would have saved himself the hassle and money for buying ear rings because I don't even have ear holes. It would have given him a spark of knowledge to save himself some trouble. For those of you with rude comments, I don't remember the scripture saying Jesus was talking in a disrespectful tone, way or words with others. Why are some of you even here in this chat room being rude. For those of you who are giving great advice thanks for not making me feel worse than I already do. Thank you for your words of encouragement.

How can you possibly know what my tone is? Besides, maybe the right thing to do would have been to get your ears pierced. Maybe he felt totally disregarded.

She made a bad decision and slept with this man.When I asked if he was a Christian she said that he wasn't.So there is nothing more to discuss. I gave her advice to take a couple months break from the relationship and tell him she was wrong and needs to focus on her relationship with God. I said she should seriously consider breaking up this wrong relationship.I dont think she liked that answer because she posted this thread. So no need to give more advice. Hes not a Christian and God will not bless that relationship.

I have or had (since she has since passed) a friend that I knew for years, and she would yearly buy me pierced earrings having forgotten regularly that I do not have pierced ears. So that is just an aside to your main concern, which is the long term prospects of this relationship that you think you should end for a number of reasons. Have you considered taking some apart, or are you already apart?

You are right about the unkind part and lack of politeness! At least a few here automatically assumed YOU were doing something wrong! Or your expectations were too high! Ive already seen on this site the opinionated bigots that would rather throw you under a bud than give someone the benefit of the doubt. Satan is HAVING HIS WAY Ill tell ya. This is EXACTLY what he wants isnt it?

If you need encouragement write to me sister in Christ. I wont make you feel as if you are asking for something you dont deserve!

Lol my ex gave me earrings with clips while I have holes. He bought 'em for his ex and it was such a pity noone used them now. Do you want them? Neh thanks, way too big.

So she should go out and pierce her ears because someone bought her pierced earrings? Get real dude!
She felt disregarded because he didnt even notice her ears werent pierced before he assumed they were! And according to Kayla,they have slept together but yet he hasnt noticed her ears? smh.........................

No need to get all emotional about it. These are just perspectives. Why someone would not want to see something from every angle they can is a foreign concept to me. There is a little truth in almost every perspective. A mature Christian has no problem finding those little nuggets.

I saw that, too. It seems OP wants to end the relationship because she prematurely jumped into bed with him, and now thinks it cannot be salvaged for reasons given therein. It almost seems she has made up her mind but needs something else.

I did get my ears pierced for the fourth time in my life which is why I didn't wear them but i did it for him and I ended up in the ER for an ear infection :)

Okay sister, gotcha! I dont see anything going right with this relationship since youve shared that he is not a christian. It was doomed from the start.

Ug! Once again folks, the relationship isn't working out because he isn't a Christian and she is. Her uneasiness,OP your misgivings are because this is not the right relationship for you!! You are unequally yoked! There is no future in this for you.

Yes,I think you are right.She'll have to come to terms with it sooner or later.
