Thanks, brother.... it's guys like you, and Willie, and CS1, and, well, good grief...quite a few others that make it worthwhile.. We can discuss and disagree and still love each other as brothers without trying to preach each other into hell.

Baptismal regeneration is an example of one way people are teaching salvation by works on the BDF. When people say water washes sins away in spite of what Rev 1:5 says, that is heresy. When someone says water baptism gives us remission of sins in spite of what Matt 26:28 says, that is heresy. When someone says we are not saved by grace in spite of what Eph 2:8 says, that is heresy. These are all some examples of things some people in the BDF have said which is against the Word of God concerning salvation. In regards to the other bickering that happens on the site, I mostly frequent the BDF, so I don't really know what is going on behind the scenes on the other forums here.

And you are the perfect example of someone who shoots arrows at other people all with the aim to prove you alone know something but never quite figuring out you're not even talking about the same thing everyone else is talking about. All you're doing is shouting above all others to prove some point that absolutely no one cares about or listening to because you're doing just that.

Haha well CC goes through eras. There was the Catholic Flood era about 3 or 4 years ago. A TON of Catholics flooded to BDF and created a lot of pro-Catholic threads and posts continuously for about 6 months to a year. I'm sure this too will pass. Hopefully after the election when everyone sees that literally nothing changes with each president and there's no such thing as successfully mixing religious beliefs with a political system.

But, you just said BDF is a "hateful" and "strifeful." Given BDF is merely a visual thing online, therefore does nothing on its own but sits there, how is that not saying everyone on there is hateful and strifeful? May I dare to believe you don't mean that literally? And I'm not saying you don't mean there's a whole lot of hatefulness and strifeful people on there, because there is. BUT you no more called every single person on that forum both those words than Willie called everyone on that thread suckers.
And, yeah, if I didn't know my motives and didn't get where the majority was going on that thread (both pro and con for the troll), he's right. It did appear some of us looked like suckers. Me being one of them.
So, Willie being Willie and all, pretty much did what you and I do most of the time -- told us what he saw us doing in blunt language. Ummm, yeah?
He's grumpier than usual lately, but it's not like he's ever been a quiet, gentle old soul. Neither are we.
And he's not the little girl having a 2-4 day temper tantrum lashing out at everybody. (Sorry. I really wasn't stalking, so I didn't pay attention to how long that went on. You know. Us evil old bitties are like that. lol) He's Willie! He's been roughly the same since... well, at least since I've been on here.
If we're going to give a benefit of a doubt to strangers, shouldn't we do it for people we know? At least we have more to go on with that benefit part, and less doubt.
We've got kind, gentle souls on this site. You, Willie and I aren't them. If we want others to accept us despite that one, aren't we even more obliged to give it to others? And I say this knowing, if butting heads with Willie was literal, I'd be forever waiting in the hospital for a doctor to make sure it's only a concussion AGAIN!

The temper tantrum was about the worst it gets on here. At least around people we know, can't we lighten up on the rhetoric? Who better to try a new trend like that than you, Willie and me? If we can do it, how much easier is it for the semi-mellow people? How much nicer would it be for the truly kind gentle souls that we aren't?
I've been trying for the last 2-3 weeks. Have you noticed or do I still -- dare I say it -- suck at this?
I know the temper did get me once. I'm not even sorry for that. (Nothing to repent from since the person assumed so much about me that can't be assumed.) I've repented from jumping to conclusions too quickly. I've hurt people that didn't deserve it. I'm repenting. I'm continuing to turn from it. Doesn't mean I'm going meek and mild, but it does mean it's possible -- sometimes, remembering only through God -- that we don't have to keep the bad along with who we are personality wise.
7 X 70 per day. Benefit of a doubt ratio too maybe? Once we reach 491 times in one day, then let's go off. Deal? (Or, at least try for that, since we both know it's going to take a while to get that good.)

The BDF is hateful because of all the bickering and arguing and other bull that goes on in there. I didn't say EVERYONE in there is hateful, even though some are..lol.. And Willie explained that he was having some problems at home and brought them here. I think we've all done/ do that at times. If people are acting hatefully, or are out of line, I'm gonna call them on it. I do it all the time..lol.. So do you, so does Kayla and alot of others too. If we did NOT call people out, there'd be total chaos and anarchy on here..more so than usual..lol

If we stand harmless as doves while satan's roaming around, he'll get us for sure. I'd rather be locked and loaded..lol Ever seen a cat stalk a pigeon? The pigeon knows the cat is there, but he can't see it. So the pigeon thinks it's safe, but then the cat pounces and catches and kills the pigeon. :/ I'd rather be a wise dove, rather than a foolish dead pigeon..lol

Oh I once had a cat that was actually from someone else in the student's home, but she didn't feed him, she came from a farm and thought: he can eat mice, so I asked if I could take him, but I always come out of my bed too late and then have to hurry up like an idiot and had to go to school, but the cat wanted food and I just got him, had no food and no time and she didn't care for him, he was like, well it was a she btw, meoww meoww MEOWW MEOWW MEOWW MEOWW just like roaring kitten, I love that username, and I was vegetarian, I only had cheese and bread and milk, so I stole her saucage, what you have to put on your bread, from the fridge, irritatedly plucked a piece out of it and gave it to the cat.
Then the next day you had it: Did you take some of my saucage? Me? Nooooo. I'm a vegetarian. Maybe you gave some to the cat? Me? Noooooo.
I thought: that was my not renewed self, that wasn't me, the devil made me do it. Oh my, that was bad.
So that was my confession for the day.
