I have long liked this verse: Tim 3:16
And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.
1 Timothy 3:16 - And, confessedly great, is the sacred secret of godliness, - Who was made manifest in flesh, was declared righteous in spirit, was made visible unto messengers, was proclaimed among nations, was believed on in the world, was taken up in glory.
1 Timothy 3:16 - And, confessedly great, is the sacred secret of godliness, - Who was made manifest in flesh, was declared righteous in spirit, was made visible unto messengers, was proclaimed among nations, was believed on in the world, was taken up in glory.
Jesus was the sacred secret of Godliness, and Jesus was manifest in the flesh, declared righteous in spirit, Jesus was made visible unto messengers, Jesus was proclaimed among nations, Jesus was believed on in the world, and Jesus was taken up in
Glory.
God was not declared righteous in spirit, and God was not taken up in Glory. the above is a correct translation ofthe greek text.
