Hi all,
Just wondering if anyone actually knows how to reduce the appearance of fine lines.I don't have wads of cash for chemical peels, dermabrasion or expensive cosmetics.Just wondering if it is even possible to get rid of these lines or if I am stuck with them....

Funny thing happened on the way to the ....36? I think you need to concern yourself with something that is not vanity!!! Im not saying this to be snotty but seriously? You are THIRTY SIX!!! Moisturize daily with pure products /no chemicals and stay out of the sun.

But if you want to try this it may work:
Get a rather large rubber band and put one end around one ear. Now take the rubber band around the back of your head to the other ear. Now put around other ear. This will tighten your face considerably. :p

**** plz do not try this at home unless you have had training in rubber band school.......................

blessings sister! Embrace your minute wrinkles because age is inevitable.

Seriously, unless you had a lot of sun exposure, at 36 do you really need this?
If you really think you do, my cousin who is 59 did the fraxel (i don't know if I spelled that correctly) laser and he said he loved the results.
He said it resurfaces the skin.
My ex sister in law told me she is going to do micro needling, but I don't know much about it. She just says it is new and uses some kind of stem cell technology.
I saw him about 2 months after he did it, and he did look about 6 years or so younger.
I would strongly advise you to stay away from botox. It is a poison, There is not enough research on it yet. But it can't be good to put a poison in your body. Even in controlled amounts.
This may not be the best place to ask.
I would just start googling and going on Youtube if I was you.

Im sorry you took it as rude. I was actually trying to be humorous and light hearted but I really dont think you need to be concerned about lines and wrinkles at your young age.

distilled water - distilled water - distilled water...
real-food with the 'life' giving nourishment we must have,,,,,
no sodas or white sugared drinks,,,,,,,etc.
so simple yet so powerful!!

remember, a micro-wave oven is like an atom bomb, it literally blows
food to it's death - also watch out for irradiated food, they are already dead.....
if you eat meats, only buy those without 'HORMONES or ANTI-BOTICS...

(((find you local Food-Co-op or Farmer's Market or Grow Your Own))).....

Could learn how to play the saxophone.

I play, it tones up all around the mouth area due to the firm grip
you need on the mouth piece and the mouth position.

You also develop a bit of a two pack if you play the alto and a bit
of a 4 pack if you play the soprano. It's due to having to control
the air pressure with your stomach muscles. :D

Hmm...

Dear Mooky: I remember what Erma Bombeck said about lines on the face. She said she was looking at her mother one day and suddenly noticed all the lines on her face. Lines at the sides of the mouth from smiling. Lines around the eyes from worrying about her children. She said, "Mom, you're beautiful!" Her mother said, "Well I should be. I work hard enough at it." :D

I also remember what Erma said about a friend who got a facelift. She said her friend looked surprised 24 hours a day. :p

Great post! I would also add eating a lot of vegetables and lessening on red meats and more consumption of fish/chicken. Vegetables are loaded with good vitamins such as retinol which actually causes your skin cells to turnover (make new skin cells to replace the dead ones). Also use a high vitamin E oil like coconut oil to moisturize after bathing preferably as your skin pores are more open and better absorb in a hot bath than with cold water to the face (which closes pores). Also don't wrinkle your forehead by raising your eyebrows or frowning a lot. I know it sounds weird but my mom always tells me not to, so I don't get hard wrinkles and it makes sense just look in the mirror lol....and you'll see I'm right......

Just never put your glasses on. I still look like 18 when I look in the mirror.
Works just like Photoshop.

As much as I love to cook with coconut oil, be careful with using it on your skin, it's highly comedogenic, and its clogging properties can actually lead to breakouts

My mother has a book, she bought it decades ago, with how to train your face muscles. I had the idea it really worked for that woman who wrote the book and made funny faces in front of the mirror all the time.
But don't laugh too much when you do it. Gives you laugh wrinkles.
