Here ya go, I'm sure there is nothing you could possibly disagree with.......

The New Covenant concept of obedience is not law-based obedience that focuses on keeping rules and regulations, as the old covenant concept did. The Greek word for "obedience" is hupakouo, which means "to listen under.” As New Covenant Christians we are privileged to "listen under" the indwelling Lord Jesus Himself, in order to follow Him as He leads us from within.

Jesus said, "My sheep hear My voice". We actually can perceive His direction, and we actually can then respond in the "obedience of faith" (Rom. 1:5; 16:26) that says, "Yes, Lord,” as we continue to be receptive to His activity.
Does lord Jesus not have laws?

This is what he owes me an apology for:

Calling what you believe lawless grace is not a false accusation. It is my descriptive terminology that encapsulates my opinion about what you believe. I have to call it something. Whether you like it or not is irrelevant. IF you don't agree with my opinion, you are free to refute it. Calling it a false accusation is just trying to stir up trouble and stifle the exchange and discussion of ideas.
This is where the "twisting" comes in....no one has said that we don't have to be obedient to Christ's salvation to be saved.

That's what you are saying by your false
"we do not have to be obedient to be saved" accusation. That is what gb9 was saying above. He owes you nothing as what he says is true concerning your behavior to people.

That's your "twist". We say the exact opposite of what you are falsely are accusing. So this is the false accusation and really out right lies being spoken. It's called slander.

Is the Lord Jesus not alive and living in those who are His??
Through his spirit, yes. And his spirit witnesses to what he and his messengers said while on earth. The book says that those who don't abide in his doctrine don't have GOD (even though they may think they do).

Well, my "book" says we are to live by faith in Jesus Christ, who all of that "doctrine" is pointing you to.

You're the one twisting things around.

I said that lawless grace believers don't believe that obedience is required for salvation.

You said "I believe a Christian can live by the flesh and still go to heaven ".

Walking in the flesh is disobedience. So essentially you said "I believe a Christian can be disobedient and still go to heaven".

I'm not twisting anything. What I said is true, unless, of course, you believe that walking in the flesh is not disobedience.

I have over the past few days or so given a lot of scripture, that continues to be "refuted" by the ever popular "gospel of Grace" before you begin scoffing or setting up your rebuttal. Please do consider these scriptures that do in fact support the many others ive annoyed the grace alone crowd with, I say in the sight of Christ, my intention is good. since many peeps wont accept anything before the resurrection as applying to Christians ( wich I find ridiculous) I for 27 minutes focused on the latter parts of the n.t. scriptures, here are some pretty clear ones I hope you will at least consider, not for myself, but simply because they are Gods word.

3 john 1:11 " dear friends, do not imitate what is evil but what is good, anyone who DOES what is good is from God, anyone who does what is evil has not seen God."

2 john 1:6-9 " and this is Love THAT WE WALK IN OBEDIENCE TO HIS COMMANDS. as you have heard from the beginning His command is that you WALK in Love. ( what is Love? pretty clear,)....v8 watch out that you don't LOSE what you have WORKED for, but that you may be rewarded fully. ANYONE WHO RUNS AHEAD AND DOES NOT CONTINUE IN THE TEACHINGS OF CHRIST DOES NOT HAVE GOD...whoever DOES continue in the teaching has both the father and the son."

1john 5:3 " this is LOVE FOR GOD : TO OBEY HIS COMMANDS, and His commands aren't burdensome."

ude 1:4 " for certain men whos condemnation was written about long ago have secretly slipped in amoung you, They are godless men who change the Grace of Our God into a liscence for immorality and deny Jesus Christ Our only soverien Lord"
(see 2nd peter 3:15-16)

2nd peter 3:14 " so then dear friends, since you are looking forward to this, MAKE EVERY EFFORT to be found spotless, blameless and at peace with Him..see through v15, and think why would he connect a statement about making effort in Christ, and then state that pauls letters are hard to understand and are easily distorted, and it leads to destruction.

see also 2 peter 2:3-10 v 5 effort. verse 10 DO these things....

James chapter 2. 1st peter 2:15-16, chapter 1:14-16.....james chapter 1. same stuff....

Hebrews chapter 10 :26-29. trampling underfoot the blood by continuing on in sin do these people deserve punishment it is asked? if they were punished for disobeying the mosaic law, how much more for disobeying the Law bought with the Blood of Christ? actually think apart from the popular grace stuff, just go to Gods word for you, looking for the truth. the truth is what sets us free. more scripture? yeah...its everywhere in the word. colossians 3:5-9...lol I have a lot more but imna let it Go. Ifeel I have made a solid argument that obeying the word of Jesus Christ, is the most important part of Our Life, and also that there is work in Christ. I also Know the scriptures about faith and Grace, but this is the purpose of all of that, to obey the word of Jesus...that is to walk in the truth. God bless you, righteous is who we are in Jesus, that's why repentance and action are essential. Grace is what made us able, all by Grace that made us new.......but were new for a purpose is the thing. I wont argue this any further, I think if someone seriously is opposed, Ive left a good measure of evidence you need to explain away. all wisdom and truth Belong to God, wisdom is His. it is Jesus Christ.

1COR. 3:13. - Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it,
because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is.

14. - If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward.

15:58. - Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding
in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.

REV. - 22:12. - And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with Me, to give every man according as his work shall be.

Here's the truth. Most of the body of Christ has NO CLUE what some of His commands are! I discuss it all day long for years now and they just don't get it! They've been pulpitized and churched to DEATH by the 'traditions of men that makes void His word', Mat 7:13 and wrested scripture, 2Peter 3:16
A 'church' full of Zombies. Revelation 3:1 And unto the angel of the ecclesia in Sardis write, These things says He that has the seven Spirits of God, and the seven stars, I KNOW YOUR WORKS, THAT YOU HAVE A NAME (on your marque claiming a dynamic soul delivering, devil stomplig, scripture quoting, bible believing impact church) AND YET YOU ARE DEAD...D-E-A-D ...DEAD!

Now you you know why I don't 'go to church'. 'Why seek the living among the dead?' Luke 24:5

Many will say to Me on that day, Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your Name, and in Your Name drive out demons and in Your Name perform many miracles? Then I will tell them plainly, I never knew you. Depart from Me, you workers of lawlessness (rejecting Gods word that I keep sharing on) Matt. 7:22

Well my account is going to be deleted soon but I will chime in. All of you have posted scripture to support your claims and all of them are right. If a person is truly saved (no false conversion) then they are changed. But the spirit and the flesh are in conflict with each other. Soooo a Christian will mature over time and hopefully their sin will decrease the closer they get to God. Will we always be without sin? No not at all. If a someone claims to be a Christian and they remain in the same sin and have no conviction for that sin I say they were never a Christian. If I'm a murderer and then get saved and continue to murder do you really think that person was ever saved? Do you really think, because that person said the lords prayer and says he/she believes in Jesus, that he/she is saved even though they continue to murder without a repentant heart?

You all have great arguments and I don't agree that works saves but as a true born again Christian there should be some sort of change in our lives. If not then we are just fooling ourselves. If we stay in the same filthy sin that we had before we were saved then I think we need to really reflect on our salvation and if it actually happened.

I was debating on a fb page with some hyper grace people and one person who was arguing with me pretty much stated he could do anything he wanted because of grace. I found out later this person was actively gay and living with his husband. He felt no remorse or repentance with his life choices. So this guy believes he can do anything he wants because he said some sort of sinners prayer and no matter what he does he will enter heaven. I say this is a lie and it is false doctrine.

You can disagree with me or agree with me it doesn't matter. Really dig deep and ask yourself when Jesus says to believe in Him what does that really mean? If we believe in Him and choose to follow Him as our Lord and Saviour, wouldn't you think that there would be a change? We will struggle because of our flesh but like I said before, there should be conviction and a gradual change to be more like Christ. Jesus said to go sin no more not continue in sin.

I know...it's best to "obey" the scripture below. I need to heed my own advice and put people that continue is this behavior back on ignore and not respond to their "baiting" as they will continue to "twist" what is really being said to make it "appear" something else is being said.

Thank you for reminding me....I appreciate it...:)

You probably will never get answer from the "must be obediend to be saved" folks.
As for me, NO.
I am a sinner saved and kept unto eternal life by the grace of God.
I can not keep myself saved, but my Lord and Savior is strong enough to keep me.

Do you believe that a Christian can live a life of unrepentant sin and still be saved?
Yes.

However, I've never met an unrepentant Christian.

Christian, yes; unrepentant, yes; but not an unrepentant Christian.

That's just playing word games, isn't it?

Romans 5:19 Says that Jesus became obedience for us, So now because he dwells in us we are able to do all things we couldn't otherwise... Being obedient! Are any of us capable of being obedient without grace? Of course not... And when we speak of "obedience" the first thing that most people do is get on the defensive thinking it's an old testament law word.. To be obedient is to submit to the spirit.. Through faith.. Everything starts with faith.. Let us all take that in for a moment. We are saved by grace through faith.. Not of our works that anyone should boast (eph 2:8-9)

So to me obedience always starts with Jesus.. The word is clear on what we should do.. If we are truly born again and abiding in him then surely obedience is a fruit of that.. Like to love your neighbour is a command.. (an impossible one without the Love of God) we love because he first loved us right?

So in my (humble) opinion.. I may not be making sense here.. I know what I'm Tryna say but not sure if it's coming out right...... I can only obey because of grace that I received ONLY through faith... Because of this grace I am able to do all things through christ who strengthens me... I can love my neighbour.. I can resist temptation.. I can turn the other cheek.. I can give to the needy.. I can put on a garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness.... Thankyou Jesus.... Love you all xxxxx
