Actually HeRoseFromTheDead you have taught this in other chat threads on here. You did say one cannot receive Salvation until he has been Baptized.

But now you are trying to deceive us.

Which makes us wonder if you have ever accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior since you see nothing wrong with lying.
You better provide proof of that before I call you a liar.

You are right Mec99, HeRoseFromTheDead did state in one of the threads that has been removed that no one could receive Salvation until they were Baptized.

Is it because he is confused or is it because he is one of the False Christians who are trying to deceive us?

After seeing this i cannot trust anything HeRoseFromTheDead says anymore.
You're a liar. I've never said that.

All true believers in the gospel of the grace of Christ say that behavior does matter.....

[video=youtube;yPFZv08ZCoY]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yPFZv08ZCoY[/video]
Please be more honest with us. Farley doesn't believe that ungodly behavior can negatively impact salvation, but only the quality of life in this world.

So the person labors to cause God to work and to will in their lives?
No, a person labors because they have confidence that GOD is in them providing the resources that they need to do his will.

And on that day you will ask me nothing. Truly, truly I say to you, whatever you ask the Father in my name, he will give you. Until now you have asked nothing in my name. Ask and you will receive, so that your joy may be complete. John 16:23-24

Your good behavior didn't gain you your salvation, and your bad behavior can't cause you to lose your salvation.

Let's not so quick to condemn HRFTD and what he has said.....what is the difference between receiving the remission of sins in water baptism and being saved ( in the context of going to heaven because of what Christ did )

It was also said by HRFTD that "regeneration" happens in water too.

If regeneration and remission of sins only occurs when one obeys the commandment to be water baptized in order to experience "regeneration" and "the remission of sins" - then that means all people that died before they had a chance to get water baptized would go to hell according to this belief.

What is regeneration? To me it means being born of God and the Holy Spirit seals us just like it showed in Acts 20:

Acts 10:43-47 (NASB)
[SUP]43 [/SUP] "Of Him all the prophets bear witness that through His name everyone who believes in Him receives forgiveness of sins."

[SUP]44 [/SUP] While Peter was still speaking these words, the Holy Spirit fell upon all those who were listening to the message.

[SUP]45 [/SUP] All the circumcised believers who came with Peter were amazed, because the gift of the Holy Spirit had been poured out on the Gentiles also.

[SUP]46 [/SUP] For they were hearing them speaking with tongues and exalting God. Then Peter answered,

[SUP]47 [/SUP] "Surely no one can refuse the water for these to be baptized who have received the Holy Spirit just as we did, can he?"

Ephesians 1:13 (NASB)
[SUP]13 [/SUP] In Him, you also, after listening to the message of truth, the gospel of your salvationhaving also believed, you were sealed in Him with the Holy Spirit of promise,

Let's give HRFTD a chance to tell us what he believes before casting stones at him. He is allowed to believe whatever he wants too as well so let's remember that too. People would just call those water baptism "in order to be saved " beliefs not the true gospel of the grace of Christ.

It's openly taught here by some that one's behavior has no bearing on one's salvation. To them salvation is an issue of one's nature and is irrespective of any measure of obedience (as reflected in behavior).
I think what should be said Is that It was the spirit that was changed and the spirit was sealed and obedience did not have anything(physical)to do with salvation,

but after a person has been saved they are not going to have a desire to do all those evil things(praise GOD)they once did

and they hopefully will began to renew their mind ,presenting their bodies a living sacrifice unto GOD which Is their reasonable service so they can prove that good and acceptable and perfect will of GOD.

The person has become a new creation,GOD's wokmanship created In CHRIST JESUS unto good works.

You're a liar. I've never said that.

seriously?

throw that fruit of name calling into the fire

read what Jesus said about calling your brother in Christ a fool...never mind a liar

thing is, I suspect you may not think of some of us as your brothers and sisters in Christ

I have seen you repeatedly twist what is said and mock when we call you out on your denial of what is actually said

you have consistently, for months now, repeated the misrepresentation of what folks are saying here by stating that we say it is ok to go on sinning

that has never been said

I mean honestly, you want folks to be honest? they are...you do not appear to give any credence to that however

it is well nigh impossible to have a truthful exchange with you...here is one of my now very rare posts to you because of your seemingly unending desire to change what some say into your argument that we say things we never did

just enough circular thought here to encapsulate a little of the frustration people experience when trying to have an HONEST exchange with you

Amen...well said...and we don't want to cast stones at him...we just want this stuff to stop so we can have a discussion without all this other garbage happening and so that all members can participate and ask questions without the fear of being abused.

And a lot of this is partly our fault too for addressing his "baiting" and sometimes we can answer him back in like tone too. Bad company corrupts. If we would just ignore these things maybe it might get better in here.

Just looking for solutions here...:)

How interesting that 4 people are saying the same thing about you but yet you say we are all liars?

yeah well they deleted that thread

I don't put money in my mouth

so apparently you think it is ok to call believers liars because you see things differently and think it is ok to just twist what is said?

come on now....

Right. Even by his own standard his fruit is judged to be rotten.

So, if someone is doing this type of behavior and died - would they go to heaven because this kind of behavior is walking ( living in) according to the flesh for sure.

What if someone was like that all their lives but stayed away from all the "biggie sins"....like
not doing adultery, fornication , etc...would the "doing the will" of God in not doing the biggie sins negate what they have been doing all their lives by living in the flesh in the other matters? Of course not. That is the epitome of being in self-righteousness.

If salvation is based on our behavior and not on what Christ has done - I would say the above person would be in deep trouble.

They need to hear the gospel of the grace of Christ!

You're a liar, too. All of you who are bearing false witness about me are simply blinded by your own hatred and theological bias, and saw what you wanted to see.

I have never said what you folks claim I said because I am not fully convinced either way. When you live by the rule of saying what you believe and believing what you say, you can speak with confidence without having to constantly look over your shoulder. If I ever said something resembling what you say I've said, then it was simply worded in away that allowed people whose hearts are predisposed to accuse to find fault and accuse rather than seek clarity about what I believe.
