Our exceedingly wicked president has just made a openly gay sexual deviant the secretary of the Army ...what else will this ungodly group of people do to our once great nation before this evil man leaves office?

What's the problem with that? So if he was an adulterer or fornicator would you still have a problem with him being the head of the army. Must the head of the army be a born again christian??

Gays need jobs too. They gotta eat right?

I understand if he was under qualified for the position, and they only hired him because he was gay.

It's sad people would rather justify their mistakes and try to make them seem cool rather than repenting of them. Scripture pretty much explains that we are servents of God or servents of sin. Children of God or children of the devil. Sin and the devil do not care about anything but taking as many as they can into perdition with them well at least that is what I think kill steal and destroy means. Christ wants to give us life. To me it's an easy decsion. I'll walk with Christ!

Yes if he is a pervert ..he don't need to lead the United States Army...why that seems so strange to people is strange to me ? Being a sexual deviant does not qualify a person to lead the Army ...and no one with a brain would doubt that's exactly why he got the job .... Only a few years ago that would gotten him thrown out of the military..back when our nation had some sense or morality

The reason folks make anti-gay thread is because the gay agenda is being force feed to the whole world ..and that thing called the bible that tells us this kind of wickedness is unacceptable for a society before God.

Here we go with the rationalizing of sin. Sex is between a man and a woman, anything else is a perversion.
Since we are all sinners, I guess we have no business speaking out? Only the ones pushing ungodly agendas have that right?

A pedo file is a criminal and should be in jail.
Two consenting adults having sex is not a crime. We have secular laws in this country to protect people from religious persecution. Like when the Puritans used to burn witches at the stake

At one time homosexuality was a crime. Just because society makes it legal it is ok in your book?
Secular law is in flux, the Christian should not be.

If we're going to Outlaw everything the Bible says is a sin then we had to Outlaw lying, gossiping, profanity, pornography, if you had an impure thought today that you would have to do your duty as a Christian and go to the police and turn yourself in.

I do not agree that the he's qualified argument passes the smell test. What we need to consider is the persons ability to make prudent decisions. Character and integrity are important qualities is making decisions that involve huge numbers of people.

Total disregard for what Gods word teaches is not going to produce quality decisions.

Although the Army make religious accommodations, they are not a religious Institution. Their job is to protect this country. As long as he is capable of fulfilling his duties that his sexual preference is irrelevant

A lot of Christians fail to understand the concept of separation of church and state. We have a constitution in this country that guarantees the civil rights of all citizens. Not just Christians
