Again from post 87: People misinterpret Paul because they can not understand him based on their knowledge of the scriptures.
The circumcision was a movement in the day of Paul and being circumcised was a term used for keeping the law in accordance with certain doctrine, especially in accordance with animal sacrifice and even man made commandments at that time.
You have no evidence for this. You're simply regurgitating someone's opinion (wishful thinking) that you've read somewhere.

Wake up! Dont play aroud with your soul with this doctrine of hypocrisy. Search the scriptures for yourself and see if it be so. What he say to one he say to all.
So stop cherry picking from the Law and start to keep it all.

1. Declaring death punishment to everybody Law does, i.e. adulterers, homosexuals, people in spiritism, witches and many others :

"If a priest's daughter defiles herself by becoming a prostitute, she disgraces her father; she must be burned in the fire." Lev 21:9

2. Immediately start to change your clothes for the right ones:

"Do not wear clothing woven of two kinds of material." Lev 19:19

3. Do not eat steaks:

"Do not eat any meat with the blood still in it."
Lev 19:26

4. Keep sabbaths:

"Observe my Sabbaths..." Lev 19:30

5. You cant eat rabbits, pork and many sea creatures (I hope you dont live in France):

"The rabbit... is unclean for you. And the pig....is unclean for you. All creatures in the seas that do not have fins and scales... is to be regarded as unclean by you." Lev 11

6. Your son must be circumcised:

"On the eighth day the boy is to be circumcised." Lev 12:3

7. You must consider women after giving a birth unclean for 33 days:

"Then the woman must wait thirty-three days to be purified." Lev 12:4

Btw, if she had a daughter, 66 days apply. Lev 12:5

8. If you have a skin disease, you must go to show yourself to a priest, not to a doctor, remember!

"When anyone has a swelling or a rash or a shiny spot on their skin... they must be brought to the priest."
Lev 13:2

9. Do not touch your wife/daughter 7 days after her period:

"When a woman has her regular flow of blood, the impurity of her monthly period will last seven days, and anyone who touches her will be unclean till evening." Lev 15:19

-----------

And other over 600 commandments. I dont have time to go through all of them.

So STOP cherrypicking! Dont play aroud with your soul!

...Or stop trying to convert us to something you dont keep yourself (I hope).

Not to mention that he has no Levitical priesthood to cover his sins. Jesus can't help him because he's from the tribe of Judah and the law requires priests to be of the tribe of Levi.

What is dis demonic statement?

Obviously, only exegesis does justice to the text. Eisegesis is a mishandling of the text and often leads to a misinterpretation. Exegesis is concerned with discovering the true meaning of the text, respecting its grammar, syntax, and setting. Eisegesis is concerned only with making a point, even at the expense of the meaning of words.

Yes, the law keeping makes no sense, when there is no priesthood, no temple, no offerings etc. They must cherry pick, there is no other way. That proves their theology is absolutely wrong.

Would you speak evil of the Queen?..is there a law in Moses against that?....is that breaking of the law deserve stoning?..I'm not up on the laws..actually...come to think of it...I don't have a clue what all the 10 commandments are. The Holy Spirit does not help us to remember them.

The circumcision movement or "circumcision" in the eyes of the jews who did not believe in christ required one to keep the Law based how they had always done before Christ was ressurected. They did not understand the freedom Christs sacrifice gives the believer that he can be forgiven by repenting from the heart.

Well obviously these laws we are to keep to the best of our ability (given the right interpretation), that is part of growing in the grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ. It is not as much laws as you would think. It is all summed up in loving God with all your heart and loving your neighbors as yourself. Many of the laws are laws about how to handle someone breaking the law, or laws for the levities and sacrificial offering, or pertaining to the temple, or for either of the genders, or for kings, or rulers. Does that mean there are not many laws to learn ? No. Believers are to grow in grace and knowledge and obey the commandments to the best of their ability. This is part of the repentance process and attaining towards perfection. Most people will never do this because it actually demands them to change their lives which most people are not interested in. They want a sugar coated Jesus where they get constant reassurance that they are in a good stand while living a life of sin and hypocrisy. This is why you must lay down your life to gain it. The gospel is totally contrary to this world and requires a total conversion of your life.

So again, what are you trying to prove?
You are still propagating the view we must keep the law. And whenever I post something about the Law you must keep then, you are immediately evasive to say "well, it is not to be kept, because the love blah blah blah".

So again - what do you want us to do? To keep or not to keep the law?

And if you want to say we should keep only what is repeated in the New Testament or compatible with the NT, you are saying nothing at all.

All modern day "law-keepers" are guilty of breaking the law every day and yet they try to say others need to keep it.

Do you even read my post ? The answer is there. Yes we are to keep the law(Torah)! As Jesus is commanding us to do if we want eternal life.

1 John 2:1 My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous: 2And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.3And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments. 4He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. 5But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him. 6He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.

Acts 16:31 (KJV)

No law put on these people in Christ.

We are sealed with the Holy Spirit when we believe . ( NOT from keeping 613 laws )

Ephesians 1:13 (NASB)
[SUP]13 [/SUP] In Him, you also, after listening to the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation—having also believed, you were sealed in Him with the Holy Spirit of promise,

We are to keep God's commandments now in the New Covenant which is to believe in Jesus and to love. ( NOT keep 613 laws )

That is some good scriptures, but you do err by excluding the law/torah. You are adding your own words under the scriptures you post to form your own doctrine and opinion which is contrary to sound doctrine. This is called eisegesis: The word eisegesis literally means “to lead into,” which means the interpreter injects his own ideas into the text, making it mean whatever he wants.

Here is an article about " Hebrew Roots Movement - man's righteousness or God's righteousness".

https://joyfullygrowingingrace.word...ent-mans-righteousness-or-gods-righteousness/

Your quote: "We are sealed with the Holy Spirit when we believe . ( NOT from keeping 613 laws )"

Can I ask you, have you received the Holy Spirit baptism of fire with evidence of speaking in tongues (Mark 16:17) since you believed ? I ask you this because God said in Jeremiah 31:33 and Ezekiel 36:26-27 that he would put he's Law(Torah) in our inward parts and cause you to walk in hes statutes and keep He's Judgments and Do them!

The Spirit will lead us to Obey the commandments of the Father and keep them, not to make up excuses not to keep them.

Yep...I pray in tongues every day and night. I pray more in tongues then I do in English. The law written on my heart is not the 10 commandments. It's the law of the spirit of life in Christ Jesus. The law of love. Love fulfills the intent of the law.

The Law Written on Our Hearts is not the Ten Commandments

“This is the covenant I will make with them after that time,” says the Lord. “I will put my laws in their hearts, and I will write them on their minds.” (Heb 10:16)

“This is obviously a reference to the law of Moses,” says the law-preacher. “The Ten Commandments were written in stone, now they’re written in the hearts and minds of God’s people.”

Not true. Here are seventeen reasons why God has not written the Ten Commandments on your heart:

1. The law inflames sin (Rom 5:20) and the strength of sin is the law (1 Cor 15:56). Why would God want to stir up sin in your life?

2. The law condemns (2 Cor 3:9), yet there is no condemnation to those in Christ.

3. The law ministers death (2 Cor 3:7), but God wants you to enjoy abundant life.

4. Law and grace don’t mix. You are under grace, not law (Rom 6:14).

5. Living by the law will alienate you from Christ (Gal 5:4).

6. Living by the law is cheating on Jesus (Rom 7). Why would God do anything to encourage spiritual adultery?

7. We’re to live by faith but the law is not of faith (Gal 3:12). The law encourages us to depend on ourselves instead of Jesus.

8. Those who live under the law are under a curse (Gal 3:10). Why would God curse those he has blessed?

9. The law binds and enslaves (Rom 7:6), but Jesus wants you free.

10. The law keeps you immature for it makes nothing perfect or complete (Heb 7:19).

11. We have died to the law so that we may serve in the new way of the Spirit and “not in the old way of the written code” (Rom 7:6).

12. When there has been a change of priesthood, the law must be changed also (Heb 7:12). For God to write the old law on our hearts would be like saying Aaron is greater than Jesus.

13. God found fault with the law-keeping covenant and made it obsolete (Heb 8:7,13). Why would God insult his Son’s sacrifice by giving you the very thing his sacrifice rendered obsolete?

14. The law is a shadow of the good things to come and not the reality (Heb 10:1). Why would God give you the shadow instead of “the good thing”?

15. The Jews considered the law to be ordained by angels (Heb 2:2). If so, says the author of Hebrews, then it is inferior to the gospel of Jesus (Heb 1:4). Why would God give you an inferior gift?

16. Some Christians think that God gives them the law as a guide to live by, but why would God want you to repeat the mistake of the Galatians (Gal 3:2)? Why would God do anything to make you fall from grace?

17. The old law-keeping covenant required an accounting or remembering of sin, but the new covenant is characterized by God forgiving and forgetting on account of Jesus (Heb 10:17). If the law that God writes in our hearts is the law of Moses, then Jesus died for nothing.

If God has written the Ten Commandments on your heart and mind, you should be able to list all ten with no trouble. Can you? What’s the seventh commandment? You can’t do it because it’s not there, and a very good thing that is too! If the law that God writes in our hearts is the law of Moses, you’re in big trouble.

The good news is that God has written in us a far better law. What is this new and better law? We’ll find out in the next post!

Here is the website for this article. It has a comment section at the bottom where people can ask questions.
