Thank you, Ember. And thank you, Lord. You didn't give me the kitty I wanted, you gave me the kitty I needed. And I promise to take good care of this precious angel. :)
I wrote that post...

Every day is the day the Lord has made....and every day is a new day and another day to make right choices

my first choice was to have a cup of coffee...

on the serious side, I heard a great message yesterday about attitudes...I want to make an extra effort at having the attitude that is worthy of my confession as a follower of Christ

Have a wonderful Saturday everyone!

I'm on a nice little roll today. Managed to get a lot of schoolwork/general studying done. Even managed to get a basic resume out to my teacher to pass around for any job openings he can find.

Bit of a bummer to have to work on a weekend, but eh. You gotta do what you gotta do.

just want to talk about something and don't know where to put it so I putz it here...I'm speakin my mind

So, I get charged 5 buckaroos more on my phone (yeah yeah android and not as smart as they say) bill and cannot find why..so I call them up and they added texting for 10.00 and then gave me a longevity rebate...sweeties

I go, look my device (they like it when you call your phone a device) is paid for...basically I'm saying I've done the 2 years so why I am I being charged more?

well, making a silly exchange short, I received a credit and have lowered my payments from 75.00 to 35.00/mth...no data and all the other thrills and chills...no texting...just you know, what phones USED to be used for

okay...thanks for listening...

Her foster mom named her Delta. I renamed her Angel. The most appropriate name for her, IMO, because she truly is my angel. :) She may not be orange, but I see soooo many of Tequila's traits in her. She's a head-butter, a bed hog, a snuggle bunny, and she's already trying to jump up on the kitchen counters. Their too high for her right now, but another month and she'll be up there. A spray bottle will break that habit real fast..lol.. So everyone, say hello to Angel.

Angel and I better get at least one congratulatory rep for this post. lol JK JK... She and her siblings were abandoned all alone in a summer camp, and I've gone through heck trying to patiently wait for the kitty God custom-made for me. :)
She sure is a cute little kitty your Angel....

Today I got sent home from work by my manager because the 'staff didn't like me' and because one of the older women (with seniority) began arguing with me and treating me like I was an incompetent child (Wasn't even the lady that was supposed to be training me in the first place this day). I basically stuck up for myself and made it known to her that I did not care to be spoken to like that and she 'tattled' on me to the manager (about the second or third time after I told her that she was putting in her orders wrong in the computer and giving away FREE stuff, which is completely against policy) and the manager came up to me in front of everyone in the store and started telling me that I needed to go home and that she valued the other employee more than me and that I had been 'causing' issues with other employees ever since I started training on the floor.
I then in front of everyone called the manager out and pretty much told her that she should be more concerned about her store and that there should be actual procedures implemented to solve problems. I am quite honestly, a very thorough and competent worker, as well as a friendly human being. So I said to her that it was impolite to treat workers that way and that it was disrespectful and wrong and that every worker should be treated equally. With only one warning (of me sticking up for myself again) she demanded that I give her my apron, nametag and hat... (lol) and then she told me to leave... I then proceded to tell her that I would gladly do so and that I would walk out as if I was walking out on a runway.

At this point of me being unemployed on and off for the past year, all while putting in at least 80-90% effort I might as well
give everyone a show.
So then as I was walking out of the building underneath my breath I said 'wow this place is horrible.'
I am really hoping that this isn't what my life is going to be like for the next few months, because I have bills to pay and I am tired of being in work environments where I am constantly feeling like I need to degrade myself. Degradation is only meant to happen naturally, it should never be forced by another human being trying to woe others by a form of social bullying or unprofessionalism.

Anyway, thanks for the training and ignoring me completely.
This is why I will be eternally grateful for when I can afford gluten free food.
