Important distinction in that verse -- knowing who is the foolish and unlearned. After all, you're still trying to convince us Jesus is Grace.

Jesus is the living embodiment of grace. It is His very nature.

It's the reason He came and died, and offers salvation to every person who will receive it.

Where did you haul that post from?....that was not in this thread..so now you are taking posts from other threads without the context? I could have just as easily said Jesus and truth or Jesus and love.

Lynn I'm going to have to refrain from responding to you if things like this are going to be happening. I believe you mean well....:)

I do love your humor though!....I think you are funny ( in a good way ). God bless you!

It's ok with me if you want to try to separate the wet from the water....and Jesus from grace..but I'll stick to what the scriptures say to me.

We can agree to disagree too!....:)
You keep saying that, when the truth is you're only focused on the left top outside of the lifesaver and blaming everyone else for not noticing we have a lifesaver.

We are the ones enjoying the whole of the Lifesaver. You're focusing on the left top outside part.

Let's take that to wet water, if you must. You're all excited abut the hydrogen atom. We're excited about the hydrogen atom, the other hydrogen atom, and the oxygen atom. Hydrogen isn't wet by itself. It needs to bond with two other parts to hit "wet." Meanwhile you keep saying we're the ones separating wet from water. Noper. We know the full of the water molecule, while you keep focusing on one aspect of it.

Repetition doesn't change the reality.

Yep, so many people afraid not to be afraid....
Yupper. That's little ole me cowering in the corner.

Out of all my attributes -- both good and bad -- want to tell me where fear shows up in me? Pretending we're afraid is a bit worse than talking about the difference between a jet and a car! It definitely is fairly high on the dumb scale!

Beneath you! So, beneath you, Willie!

Not in English for sure! Or any Romance language, which is what she said she was fluent in. Now German is a different matter - all nouns have capitals. But most people don't know that, do they?

I am really shocked to realize how many people here are deifying grace. Instead of God! Has this been going on a long time, and I didn't realize - or did it just start?!

I'm not too on the ball these days, between RA and surgery!
At least 6 months that I know of (because that's how long I've been studying hyper grace), but I suspect a lot longer.

One very basic and simple thing you overlook with that attempted rebuttal.... Angels are not humans like us.
Actually, that was the humor. Everyone keeps using the word "hyper" to describe people. I just put the word in "hyperdrive" to include another species beyond our understanding.

First paragraph was rebuttal. Second paragraph was humor added. (I have often said I don't know any smart jokes. That merely proves it. lol)

It has been going on at least as long as I have been here. At first I thought only about half a year, since certain people joined, but then remembered Jason0047 and I think his name was KevinC; both have left one way or another, but they were both here when I joined, arguing what others called the legalistic side, due to their insistence on obedience to the revealed written Word of God and Jesus Christ.

Oh I missed that 'you can't separate the wet from the water' comment originally addressed to me.
Grace777, I really feel for you. You took that one right out of Prince's playbook...

19/1/14 Sermon Notes – Ps Joseph Prince

about 1/3 the way down you find this in Prince's sermon...

"Water and wet are one. U can’t separate water from wet. U touch water, u get wet."

I'm sorry, but you seemed truly steeped in Prince, posting videos, parroting clips.
You tell us to follow Jesus, we hope you return and do the same.

Don't bother to post it, but just pay attention to how many times the concept of "fear" in relationship to God comes up in people's posts. Even listen to what you, yourself might post for awhile.... could be you might be surprised. I hope not. But it IS just about the number one, primary "motivator" in Western Religion. We usually begin all our "conversion conversations" with it.

Yeah, all great thinkers usually do end up being quoted. I'm pleased that our comments have you searching out things he says. There may yet be hope for you. LOL

I'll just leave this thread now for those that want to malign fellow believers in Christ. ( I know I said before this was my last post..lol...it's the deceitful things being said that urge me to respond to this post...but I am done now.....)
Now, though I stopped looking at page eight, and we are now at page 22

Lynn I'm going to have to refrain from responding to you...
Sorry!

Great way to put it. I understand the grace of God, trust me I needed a WHOLE LOT personally, but God is more than just graceful. He is also just, unchanging, loving, merciful, creative, understanding and so very much more. I think the most overlooked attribute is Gods just nature. I love it, God is perfactly and infinitely just. That means that in the end ALL evil will be answered for, and good will win. Now I understand that puts every human on the planet in a position, due to the fact we have all done evil and every bit of it has to be paid for. That is the genius, amazing, loving, and merciful design of the cross. The cross is where His infinite justice, and infinite love and mercy meet. That is why I want Him ALL, even when it may sound "mean" or "unfair" to our postmodern and "accept everything anyone ever says, because the WORST thing you can ever do is call someone wrong", society. I am with you 100%, it is NOT about rejecting our God is graceful, or more loving then our human minds can comprehend, it's about accepting every bit of God, even the parts some seem to run from. Again it's not that we deny or reject God's grace at all, it's about accepting ALL of Him and not just the "PC" aspects. Well said sister.

1 Corinthians 15:10
But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.

Western religion and counting...

And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.

It's one thing to quote someone, it's another to live by every word they utter...unless of course it is Jesus:)
I've worked with those caught up with cult leaders and this is looking like a classic case.

You honestly just quoted Scripture telling us to free people from fear as the reason they turn to God.

I post whatever or whoever I think is appropriate at the time despite what malice others may have for certain teachers in the body of Christ. If this offends you - well you will just have to be offended as I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ.

Prince has hundreds of great videos addressing different subjects on youtube so I use him if I think it fits in with the thread topic. I actually post more stuff from other people then him but perhaps he disturbs you and thus it registers on your emotions more.

I don't agree with everything any teacher in the body of Christ says about everything including Prince but as far as the gospel of the grace of Christ goes. Prince is solid and when I do post his teachings - it is always about the grace of God.

I was showing that fear is more universal than just the West.
