Sorry, EG...I posted off you and it appeared that my above post was directed to you. I have since deleted and reposted.

I am glad that I was able to delete it.

Just wanted to clear that up in case you saw it and was confused.
It was supposed to be directed to Peter.

I must not have seen it, But do not worry, I would have asked you if I thought it was directed to me.. I don't just assume I know what people are thinking, that gets you in trouble..lol

I can't walk in sin peter.
EG some months ago you said you sin everyday. Are you now saying you do not sin, and have
repented of all your past sins?

Because Amen then. You realise it is confusing if you change what you say you are doing and believe
over time. I do not, unless ofcourse I have changed my position. I do not believe in total inability, or
in OSAS, which winds you up.

So Amen you are walking with Christ in righteousness and purity. I embrace you for your walk with me
in the Lord. It is through repentance, confessing and faith in the cross that we are purified, now and
in the future. And as long as we hold to the faith to the end, we shall be saved, Halleluyah.

And as for the others, it is for them to declare their positions. All I am doing is reflecting where people
come across. Somehow for you that is "evil". I just regard this as being honest and declaring our
differences. And I never tell people what they believe, I tell people how it comes across, and they can
correct me. I hope you understand the difference, because you provide little real help in this regard.

Huge difference peter..

You would think you understood the difference, Because unless you claim to be sinless (which I have not yet heard) you yourself still sin.. So you would be judgin gus both.

I do not know about you, But I am saved now.. I can't earn salvation, I can walk a righteous life from now until I die and never sin again, I will still fall short of Gods glory (rom 3) and still earn eternal death.

You saying you think someone believes this is not the issue, we do it all the time,

the issue is you saying it, then being corrected by everyone you are talking about. And refusing to see you are mistaken. Then when confronted further,, Getting mad and attacking them, and saying they are being unreasonable or whatever, instead of repenting yourself..

The only thing which will solve the problem is for you to stop thinking you know what everyone believes, and stop telling them what you think, then getting MAD when they call you out on it.
EG - sorry to point out, you are commanding me to do things. I do not know what people believe, what I do is put forward positions. It is up to the reader to agree or put their perspective.

I agree...and unfortunately it also makes them think they need to "do righteous deeds" in order to create and maintain their own righteousness.

They need to establish their righteousness because they have not submitted to God's righteousness in Christ.

Romans 10:2-3 (NASB)
[SUP]2 [/SUP] For I testify about them that they have a zeal for God, but not in accordance with knowledge.

[SUP]3 [/SUP] For not knowing about God's righteousness and seeking to establish their own, they did not subject themselves to the righteousness of God.

Though I completely agree that the Christian has the new nature and no longer has the sin nature, I think we should be careful to not make the assumption that someone who thinks otherwise (that the Christian has both old and new nature) will automatically think they need to "do righteous deeds" in order to create and maintain their own righteousness.

We were told ALREADY...let your LIGHT/LOVE shine on all men.
We were told ALREADY...PERFECT (impartial, unbiased, righteous) LOVE drives out all fear.

What is it that you needed to add?
And why do you THINK you needed to add it?
Add? We are called to encourage the brethren to walk blamelessly before the Lord.

Sounds to me obvious life contradictions is not something that bothers you, even if it compromises the gospel.
This is why revival often fails to happen because issues are just not dealt with.

Peter,

there is a big difference in those who will not boast in their flesh because they see and understand the VERY HOLINESS and RIGHTEOUSNESS of GOD...

Paul no longer judged himself...but...he did understand that this did not make him innocent.

Even David understood this...

Please read Psalm 19

Yes.

The Key is this:

"It sounds to me"
That is your own opinion and input...
And since no man can know the spirit of another man, save that man (and THE LORD of course) do not let it "seem to you" what can not truly be known by you at all...

GOD sees inwardly what you can not see.

And HE will judge and HIS JUDGMENT is right.

Therefore, leave all judgment to HIM who will lay bare what is hidden.

and...IF...IF...IF you see your brother/sister sin THEN correct them...gently that is...and in private first...but if that doesn't work, then bring those elders who are reputed to be led by THE SPIRIT to help restore that brother./sister...

And if you want to do what is right...
Judge yourself to see if you really are in THE FAITH...

Further, sir...this particular post was in regards to your crying about prejudices.
Remember? This was your Original Post and this is what I responded to:

I have to share this because I found it illuminating.
A racist is someone who hates another because of their nationality or race.

So a christian brother says yes I am a racist.

Do you see a contradiction in their position? Do you see a follower of Jesus can never
be a racist? Yet many white supremacist groups would hold to the christian faith and
justify this hatred. It is also why I do not expect or predict your positions or responses
I just put out different analogies and see how you respond. This often speaks more
about what is in you than anything else, from the lips comes the fruit of the heart.

So truly I do love you, and desire you walk in righteousness, purity and love,
God bless

I was simply reminding you to stop looking and do what is right...and that we were already told to let our LIGHT/LOVE shine on ALL MEN...and NOT to be selective in that LIGHT/LOVE...
And further if we do this, then PERFECT (HOLY, UNBIASED, IMPARTIAL) LOVE will drive out all fear of judgment...before the eyes of GOD, sir.

And that is more what the child of GOD concerns herself/himself in doing...finding out what pleases their LORD and doing it...

Peter. You have no right to tell a person what they believe, then when they kindly or any other way tell you you are wrong. Continue with your line of reasoning.
You want to censor or say, you can say this or that, but not this.
Free speach does not keep you from th epenalty of slander. Even God said in his great commandmenrs, though shalt not bear false witness.. Yet you preach following Gods commands, yet break that commandment every time you turn around.

That is hypocrisy Peter.. in its purest form. (do as I say, not as I do)

You want to say you believe th ebible says this, Your ok.. You want to say Ariel believes this, Then after she tell you you are wrong, and proven it, Continue to tell her she is wrong, You are committing slander, which is a punishable offense. If you did that in the church, and after as much chastening yuo have gotten by so many people. You would be asked to leave peter. Until you repented. (if it was any church at all)

Welcome to the world of free speech, a discussion forum.
I thought you knew how it works, but obviously not.
Free speech does not give you the right to slander people peter.

But I guess you just prove everyone's point, You love to call out everyone else' sins, But refuse to repent or even admit your sin is sin.

You are talking to yourself here. No clue what you are trying to drive at.
Either you believe a certain position and hold to it or you do not. You want to be able to censor others
rather than just accept their point of view, and then argue why you feel it is flawed.

This is so beyond you you always use the tactic employed here which has no conceptual content.
Can you walk blamelessly before the Lord? It appears not.
The sins you confess are not the sins I confess. That is why I have called you a hyper-legalist in the
past and you have shown no reason for me not to say you do not believe this.

In your book Elijah sinned by fearing Jezebel was going to kill him, which was what she definately intended
and had successfully done to many other prophets. God did not say, I will save you, he just fled.
But that was sin. Oddly no sin I am aware of, but this is your hyper-legalism at work.

Now I am saying this is what you have done and agree with, because this is what your stated.
You can ofcourse withdraw yourself from this position, but it just demonstrates how poorly you understand
your own positions that you take. Your great comment at that time was do not listen to this legalist.
Lol, what a farce.

Okay...then continue on "accusing" the brethren in the hopes you might just be right...eventually?

But, what you are doing in the process is wrong...until and IF you see your brother/sister sin.

To accuse them of it, when they are telling you they haven't is simply you, with near-sighted eyes accusing...falsely and wrongly...

Elijah thought he had to TELL GOD that Jezebel had killed all the prophets and he was the only one left? Do you think GOD didn't already know?

And to show Elijah that nothing is lost or outside HIS SOVEREIGN CONTROL, HE told Elijah...I have already reserved to MYSELF 7000.

HE, GOD simply allowed Elijah to enter into HIS WORK...and to take the load off of Elijah, HE gave Elijah more help...

Peter, I have to laugh. You have made me laugh alot today.. Even though I should cry, for I fear something is slipping away.

You do not get what everyone is trying to tell you.

NO ONE BELIEVES WHAT YOU SAY THEY BELIEVE.. NO ONE IN THIS ROOM BELIEVES IT.

If you do not want to be corrected as a brother. just say so. BUT STOP SAYING PEOPLE BELIEVES OR FOLLOWS THINGS THEY DO NOT BELIEVE.

If anyone tells you to show us who says the things you say, Or says you are wrong (if you are directing your comments specifically to them) then that is NOT cenoring a persons belief, IT IS CALLING THEM OUT FOR SLANDER.

You have the right to believe whatever doctrine you want, NO ONE IS SAYING OTHERWISE.

YOU HAVE NO RIGHT TO SLANDER PEOPLE BY SAYING THEY BELIEVE THIS, WHEN IT HAS BEEN PROVEN THEY DO NOT.

Now, peter. I am not yelling, I am not mad, I am actually laughing at what I see, and astounded in amazement,, I am talking in caps and larger letters HOPING YOU WILL SEE FINALLY WHAT WE ALL HAVE BEEN TRYING TO SAY!

This is basically my position as well. I got here to this because I realised God has secrets.
It struck me that this is somehow wrong to us but is obviously true.
Elijah did not know about the 7000 that God knew about, so Elijah sense of isolation was
something that was not true, though it appeared to be so.

It then turned out that others interpret the whole story very differently.
I did not know this until it was gone through and as normal I was corrected.

It is always illuminating when you are not allowed to interpret things one way, but only
the way the group has decided is authentic. You then know the territory you are in.

I digress to this because it might help others understand, things are not often what they
appear, or the positions people really hold. They will say you do not understand and are
lying etc. which is not really a response, just abuse. But then maybe in their circle you
dare not challenge the "spiritual". I just share my view, take or leave it, I am just a follower.

I do NOT know what you are saying.
The difference is that Elijah knew GOD and knew he was called of GOD.
It's just that, after the climax of the defeat of all the false prophets, Elijah got scared and forgot that GOD was in control...in all things...in the fire, in the wind, in the earthquake (in all those profound earth-moving and obvious events) as well as, and more importantly in the quiet....if Elijah would have just stilled his own fleshly senses and remembered that, he wouldn't have had that lapse...that emotional input from his own emotional flesh,sir...

And further, sir...move on to Elijah's passing "the mantle" to Elisha...

You see, on the outside, Elisha thought that it was Elijah's "spirit" that did all these things well...until after Elisha, himself received THE MANTLE...and then he understood.
Which is why he said, "where is the GOD of Elijah now"?

Elisha, if you will remember asked Elijah for a double portion of his spirit!
Elijah's spirit.
Elijah didn't say anything about it...he simply said if you "SEE ME ASCEND" then it shall be yours.

All very prophetic, sir...of the TRUE MANTLE..for those who receive the TRUE MANTLE know whose MANTLE it is.
And it isn't their own spirit that does these things good...it is HIS!
