Prophetic Prayer is not a dice roll...

If directed by the Holy Spirit, is it possible that we can pray effectively and strategically with the results of not only what we desire, but what Father is pleased to provide? Why else would Peter be told "whatever YOU bind on earth will be bound in Heaven and whatever YOU loose on earth be losed in Heaven." This is the realm that the enemy has so effectively attacked via the WOF initiative. Consider how if the Word of Faith false movement can cause the truth of prophetic prayer to seem flaky and selfish for the premier purpose of filling pockets. Pretty crafty, maybe witchcrafty...
The churches that have not any experience of WOF but true direction of the Holy Spirit have healings physical, spiritual and any other category because they are unscathed with the preconceived labels. This is what we call positive results of the scientific method. No scriptures in support of this concept have been provided because the intent is for all of us is to search them out.
What if we being frustrated with what seems to be silence to prayer is really Father waiting and watching for those who understand that heaven suffers violence, and the violent take IT by force.

Original Word: βιαστής, οῦ, ὁ
Part of Speech: Noun, Masculine
Transliteration: biastés
Phonetic Spelling: (bee-as-tace')
Short Definition: a forceful, violent man
Definition: a forceful, violent man; one who is eager in pursuit.

What is it that the Father is pleased to provide?
And what kind of or what about WOF is false.
Are you suggesting that WOF doesn't work?

I think it is much rather that men are seeking and searching for that which God has already provided. People seek forgiveness from God, but already have Christ. They seek riches, but God has promises in His word and offers providence through sowing and reaping. They seek wisdom, but do not ask and listen. VVhat greater wisdom can be gained than through God? Listen to His guidance and wisdom in all things. You see, there is so much that people make their entire lives about seeking when all of it is found in God's providence.

In other words, people are asking for what God is already providing if we would only believe. If we would take Him at His word. If we would operate in faith, the very thing that pleases God. There is a verse that says, "when you pray, believe that you receive, and it shall come to pass." That is expectation, and faith. It is knowing the will of God and believing for it. It is knowing the heart of God, and taking action upon the knowledge of His love and providence.

In answer to your question, I might suggest tongues. That is practically, in part, what is happening through that gift. Praying in perfect faith the will of God, over your life or however the Holy Spirit is directing your tongues. In terms of the desires of your heart, God is gracious. Just ask, He is a loving Father.

Epic input. I am wondering if the vehicle to releasing, for lack of a better term, "what God is already providing if we would only believe" is the act of boldly approaching His throne in what is called Prophetic prayer. Laying claim to that divine providence as divine citizens of His Kingdom. An alignment of His will with ours. I'm new to the subject of prophetic prayer so, from what I understand it is a type of warfare in the spirit.

That is probably a dynamic answer. Depends on each of His children I would think.

Has WOF worked in your experience? Are you certain it was not Prophetic prayer?

Definitely WOF, and yes it works for my wife and I.
My understand of prayer, is that it involves asking, while WOF is more along the lines of speaking or commanding.
Either way, you are forecasting an event before it manifests.

Mar 11:22 And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God.
Mar 11:23 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.

Verse 23 of Mk 11, is about speaking and verse 24 is about asking. 23 is believing what you said shall come to pass and 24 is believing it has already been done or given, and then it shall have it.
It is the law of faith. You speak what you believe in your heart without any doubting, and the thing should come to pass. I say should, because sometimes and action, other than speaking, is required for it manifests.
But if you doubt in the least bit, absolutely nothing will happen.

Jas 1:6 But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.
Jas 1:7 For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord.

Most don't know it, but they use words of faith for their salvation. The very thing they condemn as a doctrine of devils they use in their everyday lives.
Would you mind giving your rendition of prophetic prayers? And maybe a personal example?

Maybe action is the vehicle. "Faith without works is dead." This doesn't mean to act upon your own volition but to wait upon the Lord and to take action when He says go. VVhen He opens the doors you know you're in His will and His hand is on it. So take action, but follow His leading. In following His lead it raises your expectation and faith because you know He is the one guiding it. Your part may just be to believe, and then act as He leads. VVe have to be careful to not be acting in our flesh like Sara in the bible (I.e; Ishmael instead of waiting for Isaac), but to be of faith. VVait upon the Lord. Seek His wisdom in accordance with His promises.

It all depends on what or who you place your faith in to rather it's false or holy prayer.

I don't see the Bible talk about "prophetic prayer".

There is a difference between prophecy and prayer and to merge the two seems to make both unnecessarily confusing.

Personally I like things simple and based upon the Bible.

Sometimes God reveals His will to His people before it happens...that is prophecy. God reveals such things about my own personal life in dreams. Normally when He is allowing the Enemy to work in a loved ones life and as a warning to unpleasant things that I might encounter or as mile markers in my life that tell me I am following His plan.

I had a dream months ago about walking the knife edge of a ridge. It was vivid and strange since last week was the first time I ever want backpacking, but it showed me not to give up and all we have to do is take one right and faithful step. Eventually we will make it to sanctuary from the Enemy attacks in the loving arms of our brothers and sisters.

Prayer is a conversation with GOD.

We have prayers of thanksgiving, prayers requesting help, etc.

The only situation where I can see something being called "prophetic prayers" was if God revealed that you would meet someone struggling and would have to,pray God's blessing over them. However, I would rather call that words of encouragement since that is what the Bible calls it.

Title caught my attention...prayers should not be like rubbing a genie lamp and prophecy should always point people to Christ or its more demonic soothsaying.

Word of Faith movement as portrayed by TV personalities is a false gospel. It is sugar coated dung sold to undiscerning people who lust for things of this world more than obeying and seeking God's will for their lives or thanking Him for the blessings they already have.

I speak words In faith, not "of" worldly wealth but "in" Christ.

I willing pick up my cross and follow Him even unto being beaten and killed if God so asks of me. That is what God demands of all His children, faithfulness unto death of self so we might be risen in Christ,

2 Peter: 2. 1. But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction. 2. And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of. 3. And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not. -

James: 4. 3. Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts. 4. Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God. 5. Do ye think that the scripture saith in vain, The spirit that dwelleth in us lusteth to envy? 6. But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble. 7. Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. 8. Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded. 9. Be afflicted, and mourn, and weep: let your laughter be turned to mourning, and your joy to heaviness. 10. Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.
