Is Satan bound right now?

Good evening SteelToed,

Bowman and the other Amil's also don't take the following scripture into consideration, or they circumvent or distort it:

"We know that we are children of God, and that the whole world is under the control of the evil one."

We know that there is going to be a literal binding of Satan, for a literal thousand years, in the literal place of the Abyss. And it will be during that same thousand years in which Christ will reign on this present earth in Jerusalem from the throne of David in fulfillment of the prophecy. This will all take place when the Lord returns to the earth to end the age after the wrath of God has been completed. Bowman and other Amil's must spiritualize the scriptures in order to present their false teachings.

As you an I know, Satan is out an about and his malice will become even worse during that last seven years, especially when he and his angels are finally thrown out of heaven and restricted to the earth. If you haven't already, I would suggest looking up what Amillennialist's believe in order to understand Bowman's false teachings.

Its not according to any logic.

Its according to what has been written in scripture.

Demons, albeit roaming freely today, still have as lord over them, Satan.

They are doing his bidding, but at a much reduced power-level.

If you were at all familiar with scripture, then you would know that when Satan is released, there will be cataclysms like never before seen in the history of mankind.

Thus, embrace that we are now reigning on earth with Christ, and have been given this time to come to The Triune God without the roadblock of Satan, himself...

This passage, in 1 John 5, informs the reader that Satan (the Evil One) cannot do anything to the people of God.


Juxtaposed to this very succinct proclamation of The Devil’s impotence, is the assertion that the entire world is subjected to his ‘power’ (i.e. demons, as proclaimed throughout scripture).


Clearly, Satan is bound….but his demons are not.


Simple Biblical truth.

If Christ didn't already bind the strong man that person in the word would have never been able to be free of that demon where this is talked about in the word of God.

I haven't seen any lions eating straw like the ox. Nor have I seen the wolf and the lamb lie down together. Nor have I seen where a young child can stick his/her hand into a snakes den and not be hurt at all. These are just a few of the peaceful characteristics that will exist during the thousand year reign of Christ when he is literally on the earth ruling and we with him.

I have always said, Amil's version of end time events and the millennial period can be likened to a little girl's tea party where there is no real tea, no real pastries and no real guests. Does it look like the church is currently ruling with Christ? If you close your eyes and pretend maybe you could imagine it, but in reality the entire world is a mess and it is being primed for the coming of that antichrist. Hopefully when he shows up, the amil's won't think him to be Christ.
