Snails can only crawl. Even those that live in water can't swim. As they crawl
they secrete a slime to help themselves move across surfaces. Snails and
slugs travel at speeds that vary from slow (
0.013 m/s) to very slow (0.0028 m/s).

Perhaps that is why Noah was given approximately a hundred years? LOL

I loved the scene in the recent movie Noah when the animals came to the ark.
Somehow people have gotten the idea that Noah perhaps had to go and gather
them himself, but they came of their own volition at the behest of God. This is
a different scene, with Russell Crowe telling the creation story aboard the ark:

If there is a need to say, you may look below and think of partly how I may have been thinking.

1 John 4:1

Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world.

2 Corinthians 11:

13 For such people are false apostles, deceitful workers, masquerading as apostles of Christ.
14 And no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light.
15 It is not surprising, then, if his servants also masquerade as servants of righteousness. Their end will be what their actions deserve.

Real Christians are led by The Holy Spirit.
yes, though I'd say it as 'All Christians are led by The Holy Spirit.'

ROMANS 8:14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are children of God.

Recently, I've been thinking about Christmas. I know, I know! It's WAY too early for that. Well, I've been specifically thinking about all the passive aggressive gifts from the in-laws and I have the desire to return fire. I know it's wrong and I should be bigger than that but I am a human being with feelings... and, as previously pointed out, a spark of evil.

I didn't say anything wrong to Magenta. You may try to show precisely what you may think shows how I said anything wrong to Magenta. God knows you won't prove I have said anything wrong to Magenta.

What may you think after looking at what you may look at below ?

Encouragement

So,
As some of you know I am currently at volleyball tryouts. (I also gained some new injuries lol)
Tomorrow night is what we call intensity night. Basically a lot of excersizes. We are not aloud to quit and they are testing how much of it we can take.
None of the girls are looking fowars to it because those who have done it know how miserable it is (haha)
I am a bit nervous for it, and don't have much confidence that I can make it very long without giving up and that my body is going to force me to give up.
Please if you could post some encouragement (Bible verses, prayers, just your own words or experiences)
This is a little different than my regular threads but we'll try it out lol.
Thank you so much and have a blessed day!

    Hello Natania
Go and do your best girl. We love you no matter what and you never know you may be stronger than you think.

    So do not fear, for I am with you;
do not be dismayed, for I am your God.
    I will strengthen you and help you;
I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. Isaiah 41:10

Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7

    Love you and God bless

Hello,

1 Corinthians 1:27

But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong.

Part of Luke 16:15

that which is highly esteemed among men is abomination in the sight of God.

Part of 2 Corinthians 12:9

I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me.

James 3:2

We all stumble in many ways. Anyone who is never at fault in what they say is perfect, able to keep their whole body in check.

Eagerness for victory, rivalry, envy, love of display, vainglory, revelry; buffoonery, foolish talking, boisterous laughter, clamour, talkativeness, perversions of the right, laxness in judgment, ostentation, pompousness, boasting of family, of beauty, of position, of wealth.

Part of Philippians 3:19

their glory is in their shame. Their mind is set on earthly things.

Titus 3:14

Our people must learn to devote themselves to doing what is good, in order to provide for urgent needs and not live unproductive lives.

Luke 7:

31 "What can I compare today's people to?" Jesus asked. "What are they like?
32 They are like children sitting in the market place and calling out to each other. They say, "'We played a flute for you. But you didn't dance. We sang a funeral song. But you didn't cry.'

Part of Matthew 20:28

did not come to be served, but to serve

A way to look at Matthew 7:12

So in everything, do/say to others what you would have them do/say to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets.

I'm willing to answer any questions you may have.

You're welcome.

What may you judge after comparing the parts of a Bible you may look at below ?

Psalm 119:51

The arrogant mock me unmercifully, but I do not turn from your law.

A translation of Philippians 2:4

not looking to your own advantage only but each of you to the advantage of the others

Part of Matthew 5:44

love your enemies

Part of Ecclesiastes 3:7

a time to be silent and a time to speak,

Part of 1 Peter 3:9

Do not repay evil with evil or insult with insult.

Part of Acts 26:14

It is hard for you to kick against the goads.'

Words like goads, metaphorical/talking in similarity.

Proverbs 26:

18 Like a maniac shooting flaming arrows of death
19 is one who deceives their neighbor and says, "I was only joking!

Do you want to share your experience in Kindness. Are you willing to share your experience of using Matthew 7:12 ? ?

I am not trying to accuse you of that :)
There are times that people will have a misunderstanding of what someone says and I believe that this was happening to a couple in this thread :)
No offence intended and I am truly sorry if offense was taken.
I do not feel I need to take it upon me to prove either side :)
I do not believe I understand what you are asking me about what you quoted about my injury and your response would you mind rephrasing the question?

yes, though I'd say it as 'All Christians are led by The Holy Spirit.'

ROMANS 8:14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are children of God.
I didn't say anything wrong. Real Christians are led by The Holy Spirit/All real Christians are led by The Holy Spirit.

If there is a need to say, I didn't say anything wrong to you.

I didn't say anything wrong to Magenta or anyone else.

I'm not reviling you. I didn't have a grudge against you.

I do not feel I need to take it upon me to prove either side :)

I judged you wouldn't prove I said anything wrong to Magenta or anyone else in this thread and that you wouldn't prove Magenta had spoken wisely to me.

I'm not reviling you, did you not understand some of it or all of it ? If you didn't understand some of it, which parts ?

Oh, okay,
I saw your response as me trying to accuse you of that.
I did not say you said anything wrong to me nor Magenta :)
I am glad no grudge was against me, and I apologize if you think I thought that there was .
I stand by when I said "I do not feel I need to take it upon me to prove either side"
I still do not believe I need to, for that was not my intention for posting anything I did :)

I did not understand why you quoted the thread in which I asked for encouragement, would you mind explaining the reason?

I hope all is well,
