Summary of the OP- I'm me. "Deal with it."

I think that's a pretty good message for any internet forum. People get way too upset over individual distinctions and even anonymous slurs.

It's just the internet folks. Deal with it.

Exactly, it's the internet, so people will respond, like they are doing

I'm done talking about this. We're getting nowhere, and we'll never sort it out. I'm just going to put my cards down, push back from the table, and walk away. Not interested in playing these games anymore. It's all yours.

One of the things I don't like about the internet is that it has made people less civilized, honestly.

I think a lot of the people who really hate each other on the forums wouldn't have a problem if they met in person.

As for Catholicism, their Doctrine is erroneous and entirely unbiblical. I'm not going to say they're bad people, they are just miss educated and decieved.
What annoys me about many Christians is that they can't seem to comprehend the fact that not everyone follow the principles of the Bible and that is our constitutional right not to do so. Many Christians seem to think that only Christians should have any rights in this country. If you tell me that you can't do something because it's against your religion then that's all fine and good but the minute you tell me that I can't do something because it's against your religion, then thats when have a problem. Also it is a common misconception that this country was founded on Christian principles. Our founding fathers were deists and Freemasons.

I've requested my account be deleted. This place is more stressful than it is joyful. I have enough stress in my life being maid and cook, and errand boy and hiney wiper to my Dad day-in, day-out. This place and many of the members just exceed my quota for tolerance. It's not 100% your fault, but it's also not 100% mine either. Go back to your cat-fights and mud-slinging. I won't bother your fun any longer.

I'd rather enjoy a lifelong friendship with you -- sharing, laughing, goofing and jabbing, all the while learning, having fun and being there for one another, but it takes two to tango.

Blessed are the peacemakers.
You can tango?

Sorry, I get a kick out of that saying simply because I never knew anyone who could tango. It took me six weeks to learn how to do the Rock. (Does anyone even remember the Rock?)

Ah, bummer! I truly suspected we could become friends. You kind of have to take this place not-so-seriously.

You say you are not here for friendship. Are you here to make enemies? You attack anyone who disagrees with you or doesn't pity you.
Honestly? He and I disagreed more than once, yet he didn't attack me. I even disagreed with him on this thread, yet he didn't attack me. As for pity? I got none. He reminds me of one of my brothers. You kind of have to get the humor to realize it is humor, and then you have to know there is truth in the humor woven in. Could it be how people disagree more than the disagreement itself?

So the question is....do you consider yourself better or worse than others? Do you compare yourself to others? Do other people's behaviors affect your inner state? A wise person once said that if you live in the past you are depressed....if you live in the future you are anxious and if you live in the present you have peace.

The only one who said anything about Buddhism is you. This is the problem with religious people. Spiritualizing everything so they can try to attain some false comfort in themselves that in the end is fleeting.

It was concerning something else, but I think it might apply here.....

God woke me up Sunday morning with this question: "Why aren't you trying as hard to find reasons to stay as you are trying to find reasons to leave?"

Sorry. Daoism. That's the problem with YOU. YOU seem to think a little philosophy from here and a little philosophy from there and you are perfectly free to attack whoever you want with your far-superior wit.

And that's all you ever do anymore. Attack. This is the thread of another person who fled this site after running into you and your kind.

You don't like the Mcfries? Then stop passing them out to everyone.

Yet keep the sanctimonious up. By all means, it fits this site.

Hang on I got to call the banker first.....say what I thought this was deal or no deal....

All jokes aside, you make a good point....people get wedgies to easily if someone disagrees with them...and fail to realize it's okay to disagree but to be respectful as fellow humans not crazy hyenas tearing at each other....

Deception, perhaps. But contention? I dunno. Sometimes I would rather confront someone than ignore them.

I think you were on the verge of getting banned anyways so might be a good idea. Good Luck

I'm talking about people who rejoice in belittling others with self-righteous comments and who like to just make trouble so they can be in the spotlight.
